I will likely be back very very soon! The new trailer and the excitement of the revamp has gotten me really really ready to start writing Karen again! I’ll be dropping everything (but if there’s something you did want to continue let me know) but as the season gets closer and eventually starts- Karen will be ready to interact with you all! ❤️

She pauses when he reveals her whereabouts- about what she'd been doing for the past month or so...truthfully she'd lost track of the time after diving in headfirst. It wasn't fair, she knew that, and the last thing she'd want was him ever digging into hers, but there was still so much unserved justice that was warranted in the case of James Buchanan Barnes.

Her jaw tightens for a beat before letting her head hang for a brief moment then she finally gathers enough nerve to look back at him. "How did you know?"

Fingertips pull through her hair as she lets out a slow sigh. "Listen I know- I know how this looks, but I need you to trust me, okay? Please? I'm okay- I swear to you, I will be okay and I will stay safe...but I just need you to stay out of this....please?"

Can't or won't is the question that immediately comes to mind for Bucky as well. Though he doesn't voice it, just narrows his eyes slightly. He has yet to move out of her path to let her go, and genuinely doesn't intend to.

"Right." He says, though his tone is dripping in sarcasm. "So it's okay for you to dig around my past, but you don't want me to be involved. You don't want me to protect you." Bucky's response is a mix of throwing her words back at her and a hell of a lucky guess. He hadn't entirely been sure what she'd been digging into, but her sudden caginess around him as well as a few things that had popped up on his own radar lately gave him a hunch.
