The Centre of Engineering Education Excellence (CEEE) Programme at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay has officially wrapped up—and I feel both honoured and deeply emotional to have coordinated this impactful initiative on behalf of the Institute. This transformative programme—led by a visionary collaboration between the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) and the Infosys Foundation and supported through CSR funding—aims to uplift the quality of engineering education across India. It brings faculty from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) -accredited institutions together for intensive training, interdisciplinary learning, and exposure to innovative pedagogy and domain-specific tools. The sessions were rich with discussion, discovery, and the shared goal of academic excellence. From hands-on labs to deep dives into teaching methodologies and curriculum design, each discipline brought its own unique energy and passion. 💬 Personally, this journey has been immensely fulfilling. It’s not just another programme—it’s a mission to strengthen the academic fabric of Indian higher education. Being part of this effort has been both a privilege and a responsibility I hold close. I had a wonderful experience being part of the NextGen@IITB Summer School Camp at IIT Bombay

It was inspiring to witness the energy, curiosity, and creativity of students from Grades 8 to 11 who joined us from across the country for this 6-day residential learning journey.

Hosted by Educational Outreach IIT Bombay, the NextGen@IITB programme was designed to offer hands-on exposure to some of the most exciting and emerging areas of science and technology.

It was a privilege to represent IIT Bombay Educational Outreach at the Economic Times Annual Education Summit 2025 - an inspiring gathering of some of the most influential voices shaping the future of education in India. From innovative edtech models to inclusive education strategies, the summit offered a vibrant platform to explore how our collective efforts can scale access and impact across the country.

I had the opportunity to interact with education leaders, policymakers, institutional heads, and changemakers from across India. The conversations were thought-provoking, grounded, and filled with insights that will shape how we at IITB EO continue to bridge the gap between academic excellence and societal reach.

Last week, I had the opportunity to attend the Sustainability Superstar event in Mumbai, and it was truly heartening to see the incredible work being done by schools across the country in driving sustainable change. 💚

The event brought together passionate educators and school representatives who showcased innovative, on-ground sustainability practices being implemented at their campuses — from waste management systems and energy-saving initiatives to rainwater harvesting and eco-club projects led by students. 🌏♻️

It was a powerful reminder that change begins at the grassroots — and that schools are not just nurturing minds, but also responsible citizens and future climate leaders. 👩‍🏫🌍👨‍🎓

Kudos to all the participants and organizers for creating such a thoughtful platform. Let’s keep the momentum going — towards greener, cleaner, and more conscious campuses! 🌿✨

🌟 1.5 Years at IIT Bombayy – A Journey of Growth, Gratitude, and Connections 🌟

1.5 years ago, I stepped into Mumbai for the very first time — wide-eyed, curious, and ready to take on a new chapter. Little did I know how much this fast-paced, ever-moving city would grow on me. From the rush of local trains to the energy in every street corner, Mumbai has taught me resilience, adaptability, and the art of keeping up while staying grounded.

Joining IIT Bombay was a turning point. Over the last 18 months, I’ve had the chance to grow in ways I never imagined — both as a professional and as a person. From program management and cross-functional coordination to leadership and strategic communication, every day has been an opportunity to learn and evolve.

But beyond the professional development, the most enriching part has been the people. The network I’ve built here — with colleagues, mentors, and peers — is something I deeply value. It’s a community that keeps expanding and constantly shaping my journey in ways my 6-years-ago self could never have foreseen.

As I reflect on that version of me — unsure yet hopeful — I feel a deep sense of gratitude. For the risks taken, the chances given, and the growth that followed.

This is an appreciation post — for the people, the place, and the path that brought me here. Here's to continuing the journey, learning more, growing stronger, and making even more meaningful connections.
