seeing the pmc magazine descriptions for white flame and KxAxWxAxIxI is scaring the shit out of me cuz the amount of theories floating around in my head is driving me CRAZYYYY
if white flame is a continuation of both amore(blue planet/star), and akatsuki (red moon), does that mean it's a full on su solo in theory/practice, or in terms of the speed/power metal elements?? and why was she the only member mentioned in the description and nobody else unless it IS a su solo song??
KxAxWxAxIxI scares me even more because why would they mention onedari daisakusen in the description of the 'continuation of the rap-metal series', instead of just mentioning BxMxC?? why is moa the only member listed and not momo unless they did that intentionally to not spoil the possible return of black babymetal???
what if it's a moa solo song since the description only mentioned her doing an ab-libbed hook to the song?? but that wouldn't make sense since what does that leave for momo since song 3 is mostly momo focused? but white flame and KxAxWxAxIxI don't have a collab feature tho so wouldn't that be unfair if momo only has song 3?? also song 3 was already performed with all three members so KxAxWxAxIxI can't possibly be a momo solo song in of itself so if 5 + 3 equal 75....
and speaking of white flame su mentioned it was shelved during metal galaxy era, so would that mean both kagerou and white flame might have made it to the metal galaxy album as just su solos if you know what didn't occur in 2018? and if KxAxWxAxIxI ends up being a black babymetal song would that prove my theory that BxMxC was originally meant to be a black babymetal song as well???
or maybe i'm just overthinking shit and koba is gonna troll us all because of course he fucking would WHO KNOWS THIS ALBUM NEEDS TO COME OUT NOWWW I NEED THE O2 ARENA SHOW NOWWWWW

not spoiling song 3 and kon kon for myself, seeing them live in june but EU tour has a 13 song setlist!!! Hopefully that goes through to the US tour. It’s also confusing how poppy wasn’t brought out for FMTU?

re-blogging since it was flagged as mature before for some reason
METAL FORTH

This album is huge news! So many new collabs, which many are having mixed opinions about, but as for me, it is very exciting!
These new outfits look stunning, and after seeing the band live in November (Which I am yet to do a show report about) Their costumes always look amazing in person onstage. It’s hard to tell exact details with all the crystal details in the foreground. The ruffles (??) in the center near the neck are not only reminiscent of peacocks or birds, but also of some of their earlier outfits, which makes sense with the 15 years celebration.

Now as for the album itself, it has been revealed that there will be 10 tracks, and it will be released under Capitol Records.
from me to u (ft. Poppy) - releasing April 4th! As someone who enjoys Poppy’s music, and from the teasers, it sounds cool! It was either written or produced by Jordan Fish, who wrote or produced Kingslayer. So if you’re a fan of that collab, you may very well enjoy this one!
RATATATA (BABYMETAL x Electric Callboy) - We all know and love it! It is a bit of a surprise it will be on the full album, since due to its style of album cover being more similar to EC’s, I would expect it to be on their possible upcoming release, if there is one. Maybe on both!
Song 3 (BABYMETAL x Slaughter To Prevail) - Now THIS one has a lot of theories. The MV has already been filmed, but the title is reminiscent of a certain Black Babymetal song. Some are speculating a sequel to song 4 and a possible BBM return, others suggest a song with Momoko’s gutturals taking the lead, due to 3 being a number commonly associated with her. This may be the next single released if “from me to u” isn’t the final one before the June release.
Kon! Kon! (ft. Bloodywood) - I have a feeling this will be fun to see live on the North America tour. Expecting a high energy crowd hype!
KxAxWxAxIxI - BxMxC sequel rap song, or maybe a super hyperpop-metal style song? As the first non-collab on the album, I’m excited to hear air and potentially see it live!
Sunset Kiss (ft. Polyphia) - As someone who loves Brand New Day, I think this song will be relatively chill, maybe even beautiful. With this being a Polyphia collab, it is likely that it will be only Babymetal on vocals, cannot wait for this one.
My Queen (ft. Spiritbox) - I’ve recently been listening to Spiritbox, and I believe Su’s and Courtney LePage’s voices will go beautifully together. Honestly, the collab I’m most excited for!
Algorism - Algorism is known as a mathematical term. Not exactly sure what this song will entail, but another non-collab, I’m thinking it might have some similarities to MAYA or Believing, heavy, progressive and technical in some aspects. Could be wishful thinking though.
METALI!! (ft. Tom Morello) - Already loved by fans, excited to see it on the album.
White Flame - I hope this is a Su solo. Either that, or it follows the tradition of a power metal ballad at the end of each album. Either way, I have a feeling this song will bring you to tears.
Live Show Predictions
Over the course of the UK/Europe tour, they will be playing unreleased album songs in concert, so avoid spoilers when the tour starts if you don’t want them.
Special Arena Show in the US will likely be on the west coast, as their largest fanbase is there, as far as the united states. In the unlikely case it happens to be on the East Coast, New York would be most likely. My venue predictions are:
- The Forum
- Galen Center
- Staples Center
As for the Special Arena show in Japan?
- Makuhari Messe
- Saitama Super Arena
- Tokyo Dome
That’s all for speculation!

BABYMETAL IN DC 2024!!
This post has been a long time coming, but I saw babymetal in DC!
It felt incredibly surreal and I was incredibly tired, especially since this was a school day and I had to wake up very early and then get picked up to go to the venue!!

I’ve attended concerts at this venue before, and its such a nice venue! The lobby is very cool, especially when you go upstairs but we didn’t have time because GA! Gotta get the good spots.
It felt very surreal to see all the other fans there, also PSA to wear deodorant at concerts.
Anyways…Scene Queen!

I really enjoyed her set! I know she’s a controversial opener especially since her songs do get very explicit and violent, but I did enjoy it! Very good rage music, do recommend.
We were waiting about 30 minutes afterwards for babymetal’s set, but when it started? Oh man…

So! the set was as follows..
BABYMETAL DEATH
Distortion
PA PA YA!!
BxMxC
METALI!!
Karate
Time Wave
Megitsune
RATATATA
Gimme Chocolate!!
Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!
Road of Resistance.
I wanted to cry when I first saw them walk out onto the stage only I was so dehydrated because I didn’t want to lose my spot by using the bathroom, but I had never been on the floor of a metal show.
I could barely see 1/4 of the time, and I’m 5’8, (172 cm), the crowd was ROUGH during disto and ppy but I managed (props to my father for keeping me and my friend out of the pit.)
But that’s just metal! It was an amazing experience and momo made a heart at me and my friend!
Overall, an amazing experience so much so that I’m seeing them again in June. (This time I have seats so hopefully the view is clearer. Experiencing KARATE live, a song I wasn’t really into before, changed my whole perception of the song. I mean- the vocal stability required to yell at the audience and then jump up and down and sing for 30 seconds straight? That’s not easy.
Their stage presence is incredible and if you have the chance to see them live, do it. Bring earplugs though, my father who has been to SEVERAL concerts said they were the loudest band he’s ever seen. Protect yourselves!!!
