I'll be honest with you chat, I don't think I really fully planned out this universe/ARG/"analog horror" (I personally wouldn't call it analog horror but with that WotW+Ghidorah video I made a while back gearing toward that territory, it might be idk)/ whatever this blog is. So I'll be retconning a lot of stuff l, make a few shitposts probably, redo the log entries, add Kaiju from other franchises, maybe try to draw the Kaiju as the designs I have in mind for them instead of photoshopping them into images, and maybe I'll post a timeline of events soon. I'll still keep some events the same, like Cold war Godzilla and reincarnating King Kong, etc... I'm also thinking of some other ideas like Godzilla kidnapping younger Kaiju to keep them as his children because his daughter died although Rodan babies are an exception, he will go out of his way to turn those babies into memories because of past trauma and shit, also I'm changing Godzilla and Anguirus' relationship from a brotherly bond to parent and child dynamic due to Goji's characterization in this blog series, I'm also retconning Godzilla from not attacking Mothra at all to he regularly would fight her but overtime he just stops trying to fight back against her. I got a few more ideas but I'll just leave y'all with this for now. Hopefully I upload more on this blog.

During the late 1950s, the Kaiju known as Varan was found residing in a cave near a beach. The creature was taken in and became a popular sideshow attraction, however some people believe that Varan may have been the start of something that would change history forever.

Species name: Japanese water dragon ( Draco megálo)

Species is most commonly found in undersea caverns near the sea of Japan and the Pacific ocean. Varan in particular was found in America, the most commonly believed theory to how he got there is that he got lost while migrating.

Adult members reach heights of 20 meters while juveniles are around 6-10 feet. Male and female members are hard to differentiate however females do tend to be a grayish brown color while males are orange or tan.

Species are related mostly to flying lizards.

Varan is believed to be the first Kaiju ever discovered however it is debated that King Kong should hold that title.

These creatures are rarely ever hostile and don't seem to mind humans, younger members of the species often like to play with humans.

Varan was last sighted in 1984, his species normally live 40-60 years so it's possible he could have lived until 2017.

In conclusion, nothing of too much importance regarding Varan besides the debate on whether or not he's the first Kaiju discovered, however his species are very interesting in their own right.

Subject first surfaced on October 8th, 1961, and ever since then, humanity has been ravaged for years, by the monster now known to the world as, Godzilla. Throughout the 1960s to 2030s, Godzilla has stayed as mankind's greatest enemy, and was #1 on the GDF's kill list, however after E Day back in 2037, Godzilla has been gone for the last 15 years. Not much is known about Godzilla, no one knows where he came from, how old he is, how he was able to go undetected for so long before being discovered, or his current whereabouts. What we do know is that:

He is male and is unable to asexually reproduce.

Stands at 100 meters tall, formerly 80.

Had an offspring once, nicknamed Godzilla Jr, who is, unfortunately now deceased, and her existence implied that Godzilla had a mate at one point. Most would agree that the mate is also dead.

Has a strange, almost brotherly bond with the Kaiju known as Anguirus.

Is one of the strongest Kaiju on Earth, he is capable of taking down the Empire state building with a single tail swipe, can regenerate faster depending on how severe an injury is, his atomic breath was able to destroy Mt. Everest during a fight with Megalon, survived being nuked by the Tsar bomb, and held his own against King Ghidorah for 5 hours straight. It's theorized that he grows stronger the longer he fights or the angrier he gets, however even if that's wrong, I'd still say that he is quite incredible.

Behavior is similar to that of Grizzly bears, despite being reptilian.

Has shown behaviorial signs that suggest depression and schizophrenia.

After the death of his daughter, Godzilla has grown more hostile, attacking anything that gets near him, although he has been spotted attacking White Rodan, the alpha female of a Rodan flock and adoptive mother of Godzilla Jr, unprovoked.

The only Kaiju that Godzilla hasn't been hostile to or attacked, are Anguirus, Zilla, and strangely enough, Mothra, despite her being in constant conflict with Godzilla multiple times, a leading theory is that Godzilla seems to admire Mothra's beautiful wings and is too distracted to attack, while Mothra strikes at him repeatedly. Although a running joke is that Godzilla has a crush on Mothra.

On December 25th, 1964, Mothra's egg washed up on Yurigahama beach, however before Mothra could show up to take back her egg, Godzilla appeared and for reasons unknown to us, he started protecting the egg, attacking anything that got near it. Maybe it was just his paternal instincts kicking in at the wrong time, maybe he just mistook it as one of his own, or maybe, just maybe, the loss of his daughter stuck with him, and all he was trying to do, was cope.

He hates us...and he will never forgive us...

Currently the GDF has begun searching for Godzilla, but the public's view on the monster has changed ever since Ghidorah came to Earth. Some believe that Godzilla must be destroyed because of everything he has ever done, all the pain, the suffering, all that death, all those losses, the destruction he caused daily, it's either him or us. However there are others who believe that we have caused more suffering to him than he ever could for us, and we need him to fight the threats that the GDF can't handle, such as King Ghidorah and Destoroyah. As for what the public thinks on Godzilla's whereabouts, most are unsure, some believe the GDF captured him and turned him into a cyborg, but we all know...he's still alive out there.

The attack of the Martians and the mystery of the Star dragon.

The year was 1894 when a retired veteran from the British Navy reported seeing a giant metal mushroom walking around the woods, he described it as having three legs and glowing lifeless eyes. Citizens started calling it a Tripod because of the three long legs that resembled the trees. 2 weeks later, a whole army of Tripods started attacking all of Great Britain. This was the beginning of what has been called, the War of the Worlds. What was once a world super power became ashes and rubble, Great Britain was all but a memory and soon all of Europe was under attack, every single country around the world united against a common foe, but doubt started shrouding everyone's minds. People across the world started to believe that this war could either take years or only a short while before all of humanity was cleansed from the Earth. But it only took a month, the Martians, as we started calling them since we have found out that they originated from Mars, all perished, but not because of our valiant efforts but because of common disease. Scientists have theorized that the Martians were not used to our germs here on Earth so when they started making contact on Earth outside of their protective shells inside the Tripods, they all died out from exposure to the bacteria on our world. Nowadays Great Britain has become a tourist attraction and the technology used by the Martians has increased technological developments for all of mankind. But of course, no tragic historical event is without film and literary adaptations so of course there have been pop culture references and merchandising of the Martians and their Tripods.

1975, a strange red flare was spotted in space. Scientists have labeled this a natural occurrence, but upon further inspection...

...it became very clear...

...something was in the flare...

This has left everyone in the scientific community baffled...we have no explanation for this and some have even found markings on the Tripods that resemble this...creature. We have started theorizing that the Star dragon, as we started calling it due to it having an appearance of a three headed dragon, might be connected to the Martian invasion of 1894. Unfortunately some of our greatest minds have all of a sudden started going crazy, started harming others and themselves, one was so fucked up that the poor bastard splattered his damn brains all over the wall. It's sad really, we found his body carved with the same marking as the ones seen on the Tripods, the rest might as well be better off dead as well since all they can say...or rather chant, is Ghidorah, although we have found one that we believe can make an attempt at understanding... whatever this is...

Dr. Avery Gilmore was once a proud and respected scientist in our community l, but she too has succumbed to this...unfortunate...phenomenon... However she has shown to still have some intellect left but we have little progress with reaching her. All she has been telling us is that the Golden God will come to Earth. The three sons of the Great Destroyer, combined to one, shall wipe out humanity and bring the end to all worlds. We cannot explain this...but yet again we have been seeing things that go against most forms of scientific discoveries, so maybe...it's something that we can't explain scientifically but rather can only be explained in faith, and since the red flare has started glowing brighter and brighter, implying that the Star dragon, or King Ghidorah, is getting closer to Earth. So all we can do is pray...pray that something or someone will stop it... because if it doesn't...then may our deaths be quick and that we all see a paradise waiting for us on the other side. Because if there is something that I have learned in this bizarre universe that we live in...

Gods exist. And we will never kill them. No matter how hard we try, at the end of the day...we are at their mercy.

Man, wouldn't it be crazy if Godzilla was mutated by the Tsar bomb and started destroying a bunch of the submarines from the US and Soviets during the Cold war to purposely cause a third world war, while also taking place in the same timeline where the Martians and their tripods that may or may not have worked for King Ghidorah until he wiped them all out for failing to conquer Earth because of some germs back in 1894 which was shortly followed by a giant ape named King Kong being taken to civilization in 1898 just to meet his demise and strangely being followed by a few more incidents of a giant apes coincidentally also named King Kong being taken to civilization to meet his demise, the most recent one being in 1933 which leads to people making theories on why that kept happening which starts making some people think that King Kong can reincarnate, man wouldn't those be some wild ideas? It's not like I'm going to base this whole blog around that whole idea. Nah absolutely not. That's crazy! I'm definitely not going to make a series all about that!
