“Yeah of course! I’m just over here.” He led Sutton over to his car and felt immediately more at ease when Sutton agreed to his plans, “Awesome! I’m going to send out a tweet right now and use the hashtag ‘Saleb Q&A’ because that’ll be a real crowd pleaser.” Caleb chuckled as they got into the car and he sent out the tweet, “So, I’m guessing it’ll be probably at least a thousand asking if we’re a couple, a handful about our current projects, and then some more asking if we’re dating.” Caleb started driving towards his place and grinned at his best friend, “Can you handle it, Sut?”

Sutton hopped into the passenger side of the car and leaned over his shoulder as he wrote the tweet. She grinned as he pressed send before sitting back to put on her seatbelt. “Oh god. New song and giving them a Saleb tweet? They are losing their minds!” The blonde giggled and looked over at him as he drove. She loved having Caleb has a best friend and she understood why people thought they may secretly date. They spent a lot of time together and it’s not like either had really had any other romantic relationships. Sutton tapped her chin as she pretended to think. “Hmm..I think there’s a few ‘What’s your favorite color?’ questions sprinkled in there. Oh and, ‘Is ‘Why’ about Caleb?!?!’” She nodded with a grin, “I’ve got this down at this point, Hoyt. Just wait until you hear my answers.” The girl winked at her him before looking up their favorite pizza place, “Should I order now so it’ll be there just after we get back to your place?”

The rest of the show flew by thanks to Sutton’s charisma and the fun energy that always seemed to follow her. Caleb was so glad she was there, she was clearly a natural. Once it was over, Caleb went over to Sutton and linked arms with her as they walked out into the hallway. “Are you free for the rest of the night? I was thinking homemade milkshakes at Casa Hoyt and we order pizza from the same place as last time aaaand maybe you could be a surprise guest in my Q&A video for the week? I was going to film it tonight but it would be more fun with you.” He raised his eyebrows and gave Sutton a hopeful look.

Sutton always enjoyed being around Caleb but especially when it was something he was passionate about. The teasing and playful nature of the show came to an end quickly and she followed him out of the studio with a grin on her face. “I am most definitely free. I’m in for all of the above but the pizza is on you this time.” She poked his chest gently and laughed before nodding to the side, “My manager drove us here today so I’ll just hitch a ride with you. Now about this Q&A...what questions should I be prepared for?” Sutton raised her eyebrows playfully as they exited the studio and out to the parking lot.

Caleb raised his eyebrows and laughed at Sutton’s suggestion, “You’re sure you want the Twitterverse to implode?” He didn’t wait for her to answer and shrugged before grinning, “Let’s selfie it up, this is your moment.” He let his chin rest on Sutton’s shoulder as she held up her phone for the selfie. Caleb smiled at first and then scrunched up his nose while sticking out his tongue, “Silly face! C’mon Button, you’ve gotta do it too.”

“I love making the fans go wild.” She giggled as he complied and she held her phone up, leaning her head against his slightly with a grin. Sutton couldn’t help but laugh whenever he made his funny faces. She nodded and winked at the camera with her tongue out too. The blonde took a few more pictures before she saw the radio producer motion for Caleb. “Oh whoops, we are almost back!” She giggled and mouthed a sorry to the guy in the booth before pulling away from Caleb. “I’m gonna hang out and help you for the rest of the show.”

Squeezing his arms around Sutton, Caleb nodded his head along to the beat, bursting with pride. At the suggestion of checking Twitter, Caleb grinned and looked at Sutton’s phone with her, pointing at one mention that stood out as she scrolled, “That person just called it the song of the summer! See? I knew people would love it, Sut!”

A giggle left her lips as she leaned her head against his arm. “So relieved. This is always my favorite part.” She grinned and closed out of Twitter, looking at him over her shoulder. “We should take a picture to post for the fans. They are gonna lose it.”

Caleb continued to smile as he listened to Sutton explain the song and before he knew it, it was time to drop the track, “Alright everyone, are you ready for this? Without further ado, here is the latest single from my best friend, Sutton Colletti-Fuller. It’s called ‘Why’ and you’re hearing it here first on Hot 100.5!” Caleb let the song start and immediately shot out of his chair to hug Sutton in her chair from behind, resting his chin on her shoulder, “I am sooooooo proud of you!”

The blonde grinned as he she listened to him announce the song and she clapped softly. A soft squeal left her lips at his hug and she quickly pulled off her headphones. The smile on her lips grew wider and put her hands on his arms around her, “Thank you!” She turned her head to look at him and nudged her nose against his cheek. “I wouldn’t have wanted to premiere it anywhere else.” Sutton squeezed his wrists as she danced a little to the song in her seat before widening her eyes and grabbing her phone, “Wait, let’s look on Twitter!” She grabbed her phone and held it up so they both could look at it as she went into her mentions.
