I saw the newest Karate Kid movie earlier this week, and I was sat behind a little girl that reminded me so much of myself when I first started watching Karate Kid.

Almost every fight scene made her even more enthralled with the movie. She laughed at all the right parts. And she started talking to her brother about Miyagi halfway through.

And the best part was that her parents genuinely listened to her afterward. They also responded to every question she asked. So this is just a reminder to let kids like what they like! My grandma always told me that liking a movie like Karate Kid was too boyish for me. But these parents did everything right.

-if i hear the sentence “miyagi glaze” one more time im gonna lose it. miyagi is the center of the entire show/trilogy and the BEST character enough

the thing that really gets me about danzen is that chozen was the first person to unconditionally believe what daniel told him about silver. the first person to not make fun of him or question his memory or tell him that it couldn't have been that bad. instead, he tells him, "it's okay. i've got you. and if he wants to hurt you ever again, he's gonna have to go through me"

I don’t know which Karate Kid those clowns watched, but Johnny isn’t some cool guy in rock band t-shirts. He’s a loser (said with love).
