i feel this scene is really underappreciated. they're literally jpegs. they are eating jpegs. and they don't even find it weird it's not even a joke. they're just fine with it. honestly kinda makes me want to try some of the jpeg
kikuri hiroi is an absolutely wild character but i don't think enough credit or thought is given to how... sad she is? she goes out of her way to support bocchi because she saw herself in her and even praises her for how much she's able to accomplish without developing the drinking problems that she has. seika also has a weird attachment to bocchi that stems from how she reminds her of kikuri when she was (and in the brief instances she still is) sober, and how she misses that person. i still haven't caught up on the main manga or started kikuri's but there's really this unspoken pain in how she's basically a bad future version of bocchi, who might have been able to make that same, healthy progress that bocchi currently is if she didn't have a toxic easy out to deal with her own anxiety and made everyone around her hate her for it. her peers all seem to consider her a lost cause that isn't worth helping at this point and idk that kinda sucks? i hope her story ends up in a better place at some point
