pet peeve when my name is spelled wrong in a professional email. i mean imo any typo is unprofessional but w/e it happens, maybe that’s old fashioned and pedantic for me to care about, but misspelling the name of the person you’re addressing an email to is just so careless and makes you look so bad to me like that is the FIRST thing someone sees AND it’s a personal detail AND it’s so easy to check before you send the email if you have any doubts. like okay be serious, this is someone who is making more money than me and she can’t be bothered to spell my name right. in poor taste imo
