her parents divorced when she was nine, and her mom moved back to korea. she lived in boston with her dad during the school year and with her mom in the summers until she was street-scouted and became a trainee. 

lo-fi has been dancing since she was four, and originally had a background in ballet, tap, and contemporary styles. after she started training, lo-fi became more interested in acro and tricking styles of dance, but still loves experimenting with all styles. 

similar to elsie, she really enjoys baking, and tends to stress-bake as a coping mechanism. the two of them make a lot of treats together. 

lo-fi is also very interested in fashion, and has become an ambassador and model for several high fashion brands. one of her dreams is to attend the met gala one day and/or curate her own brand.

meet SEVENTEEN’S four female members: hwa, elsie, meanie and lo-fi.

the four girls make up an all-female sub-unit, un-officially called by fans as “SEVENQUEEN,” usually abbreviated by fans as svnqn.

each of the four girls are a part of the other sub-units in SEVENTEEN as well, and they debuted as the girl group sub-unit in 2017 with the song Fancy U. since 2017, the sub-unit has had some sporadic comebacks.

of the four girls, members elsie and meanie are in the hip-hop team, member hwa is a part of the vocal team, and member lo-fi is a part of the performance team.
