In the illustration I present the character Piedmont at the moment of removing the mask. I focus on the face and upper body, creating a contrast between the open, vulnerable side of the hero and his usual theatrical image. Light skin and golden hair are emphasized by the dark background, which enhances the expressiveness of the look and smile. The composition combines several angles, thanks to which the viewer can see the character in dynamics - from the moment of revelation to a calm, almost intimate expression.

My millipede is a bit of a rebel. He throws off my moisture meter several times. I left him a glass bowl so that he could eat something tasty there, and in return he sleeps there.

The comic isn't on hold; each frame takes a couple of days to draw. It's summer, so I'm taking a break when I can... Things will pick up in the autumn.
