im so sad about this because they left the tony’s without a tony award and they should’ve definitely gotten one?? i just love groundhog day so much and the song ‘hope’ helped me pull through life and all it’s utter bs. honestly i don’t want to see them go, but they’ve had a great run.

i kinda wish i had the money to see the last show, or any of the live shows in general since i wanted to say “good seeing you pulling through, dodds.” to andy just because he did such a great job on svu and his character just means a lot to me.

Is it more like um... "Hamilton: Lets cry our eyes out" or more like "Something Rotten: I'm crying for different reasons"? - not-meg anon

*claps and rubs hands together* OH, SO YOU WANNA TALK ABOUT LEAP OF FAITH?

BOI, DO I HAVE FEELINGS ABOUT THIS ONE.

Leap of Faith is a Broadway musical based off the movie from the same name, starring Raúl Esparza as the U L T I M A T E Trash Lord: Hoenas Jonas Nightingale. A reverend/faith healer (a.k.a. A Con Artist, Actually), who travels around the country, with his ministry bunch-a crooks, holding revivals and scamming people for their money with his magic healing powers and miracles.

One day, his bus crashes down in a small town in Kansas that’s suffering from a drought. Our beloved asshat, wastes no time in setting up a revival to take advantage from the people in town. 

Now as you may guess, our Hoenas here, is a ladies man. But, this time around there’s this girl (I know, there’s always that girl) who immediately rejects him. 

So, by now I guess you may well know where this one goes. I mean: dickbag meets girl, girl sparks something in dickbag, *BAM* redemption montage. 

This is that and so much more, because the music it’s amazing, the choreograhy, Raúl N A I L S Jonas (I would nail Jonas too, tbh), and let us not forget:

The Disco Suit.

You really should watch Leap of Faith. When I did, I laughed, I lived, I sang, I cried and I loved. 

So, long story short: You’re gonna have a blast, gonna laugh a lot but by the end you will probably be crying tbh. If you don’t, I don’t know what’s wrong with ya, because Raúl’s angsty acting could make the toughest of men weep.
