Funaria Decades - 1890

The Petting Farm continued to grow, and now these hard working animals are pulling in at least 1000 Simoleons every day for their family. The babies even have cribs now. If it wasn't for the animal exploitation on this farm, the kids might be dead by now who knows.

Eliza Pancakes is still our best customer, still shows up when the farm opens and stays ALL DAY. She set her LITTLE BABY IN THE MELTING SNOW, FOR HOURS. I felt bad and had to mccc her into a warmer outfit. When Eliza finally noticed her baby crying in the damn snow, she just kinda...

flipped 'er right on over.

Alma ended up asking to be introduced to little Sandy Pancakes, so she could pick her up and take care of her while Eliza gets her fix outside. For three days now, Alma has had a fourth baby to take care of all day long. It's great.

The petting farm business is growing, although slowly, so once Amos and Agnes aged up, the family is now Babies Sleeping on the Floor Poor.

I was also Today-years-old when I learned that if a baby is being held when it has a blowout, it just shits all over whoever is holding it? Awesome.

And even though the petting farm is STILL designated as a SHOP, the farm stand itself never, ever sells anything. Nothing. Their entire income is ticket sales, and it is a shop.

Michael Bell did definitely bring his stupid smelly baby, to pee on the floor right in front of it, which definitely helps.

If you decide to go the Petting Farm route, just know to harvest your stuff every morning before you open. Because they will just STEAL ALL OF YOUR EGGS.

Lettie also aged up, and also smells like crap. And these kids bathe. I don't get it, did they make sims more disgusting? It's all farts and pee puddles.

The Bog Witch's Kitchen

A Quick & Dirty Selfish Recolor

I recolored the Rustic Range kitchen, specifically for my SimSelf. But then it was a lot of fun and I decided I need way more colors, with and without stained glass (but mostly with.)

I ended up with 7 paint colors, 4 wood colors, 6 different shades of stained glass or wooden doors with no glass, and 5 different countertops. ALL glass and countertop options are available for all colors, or however else I should word that to make it less confusing, for mixing and matching. An absolute shload of combos available because honestly, I'm a slut for options. All the black metal has been changed to a nice natural brass, and there are slots all over (including atop the cabinets) for decorating.

They aren't perfect, but they make me happy.

Funaria Decades - 1890

Well, somehow, a crazy man let himself into the cabin. Luckily, no one was harmed, but what??

Alma gave birth for the second time, giving us NATURAL TWINS because this game hates me. Introducing Agnes and Amos!

But things are getting CRAMPED. The farm stand makes almost no money, so we haven't been able to expand at all. Something gotta change. And then a stroke of genius.

WELCOME, to the Funaria Petting Farm! For just 24 Simoleons a pop, the townspeople can now clean, feed, and generally care for the animals here on the farm, a scheme that would take rural America another 100 years to think up. The farm stand is still there, too, not that anybody cares.

Some people like it more than others. Eliza Pancakes typically likes to show up when we open, and not leave until we close. Our first day saw 13 paying customers, and we're on our way to making room for all these stupid kids.

Lettice aged up, and within about an hour, Alma and Henry were pregnant again, because we gotta get all these stupid babies out of the way so they can help with the farm/business.

And the business, by the way, SUCKS. Is anyone else experiencing this? 23 customers and 2 sales? Seriously, they sell almost nothing.

So we took some drastic measures. Alma set up a sales table, and started a yard sale. They FINALLY have an inflow of cash, pretty much just enough to buy little Lettice a crib, but at least that means she won't have to sleep on the floor (which was the original plan.) AND Sims can have a business open and a yard sale going at the same time, so suck on that EA.

It got weird. Vladislaus showed up, and Alma and Bella Goth (both pregnant) ended up autonomously flirting with him, which made Henry VERY uncomfortable, which made their marriage strained, and what the hell why.

And then, he burned up, right there at the yard sale. Now they have a shitty vampire grave to pass down through the generations. Just great.

Alma soon found herself very pregnant, which cut into some of her constant canning time, and caused a few floor peeing episodes due to their outhouse occasionally forgetting that it is an outhouse.

And while Alma was growing a baby, Henry was working hard to slowly expand the product inventory on their farm stand. Still, they do almost NO business, with Bella Goth and Landgrab stopping by to stink and pee all over the ground, but purchase nothing.

And along came their first child, a girl named Lettice, which is a TOTALLY REAL NAME that I found on this baby name website, so while it's super hilarious to me, it's also historically accurate!

Ingenius Retail Shelves w/ Slots and Colors!

EA gave us this shelf, able to hold 2 small items and a medium at the same time, or something. So I added dozens upon dozens of slots and 10 more colors, to make them more useful.

This new expansion put me right back on my Decades bs ❤️

But why continue any of my previous families, when I can just start a brand new one and add it to my hoard of save files.

Obviously, first I had to spend 10 hours building a brand new farm. The best farm that any of my decades families have ever had, because I wanted to basically spend them down to their very last simoleon.

This is Alma & Henry Funaria (Moss🪴)

They spent their first 6 days absolutely grinding out a small garden, horse sculptures, unpainted pots, and mayo/mushroom jelly. At the end of it, they had $86. Now EVERY simoleon they earn must come from their home business, forever. Starting with just this tiny little farm stand. I'm here for the struggle.

I love this new expansion pack, so much. I love this display case so much. I hate that they decided to put ugly cupcakes and random bags of coffee in it. So I emptied it out and added so many slots, making it useful regardless of what you want to sell!

Whittler's Pride Counters & Cabinets - Empty & Expanded

I need this for my game, so here it is for yours!

First off, all the dumb stuff on the shelves is gone. And if anyone knows the number for EA let me know, cause honestly we're all owed an explanation as to why they would put one tiny stack of weird little white plates on a shelf, and not include even one slot to put ANYTHING ELSE on the shelf. You okay EA? Lots of slots added. The shadows are still there because I'm pretty lazy and can't figure out how to make it not look terrible, but I DID remove ONE shadow from all meshes, which I consider an accomplishment.

Second, I thought we should be able to choose any of the curtain colors for any counter color, so I did that. Also I needed some nice green curtains, so I added them.

Zero-Plastic Range Rustic Counter

Look, I did a thing! Range Rustic Counter from Horse Ranch, emptied out and with slots added to the shelves where the plastic things used to be. I've wanted to do this for a long time, finally got around to it. The shadows of the stuff are still there, because I'm so very lazy, but once you place objects on there it looks normal.
