Content: This post is about people, family, gratitude, evolution, parents, grandparents, support system, love & life. But isn't life always about people & human spirit?

Family: This picture is of my parents at a family wedding in December 2022. We are a picture-crazy family & we always look fabulous.

We have made it through 2024 with flying colours. :) The universe's positivity has made this happen for me & for my family.

Challenges: The years, 2022 to 2024 have been profoundly challenging for me. It’s remarkable how, during difficult times, the human mind often downplays the moments of joy & positivity experienced within the same period. I am grateful for all the learnings & love I have welcomed during this time.

Grand-Parents: Whoever knows me, knows how attached I have been to my grandparents. Their death has been a life-changing journey for me. My parents' ageing has been a challenging yet fun (yes, FUN) experience, due to their continuous antiques & entertainment along with it. It brings back all the beautiful memories of my grandparents & also the silent grief of them not being around. Well, stay tuned for at least 100 posts about my lovely dada-dadi & nana-nani & at least 10 posts about my beautiful Great-grandparents. Please don't already leave my blog here!

Navigating Challenges: My parents completed 52 years of marriage in December 2024. I have for the longest time been bullied by my siblings about how my parents pamper me even when I am in my 40s. When you see your parents age & go through unlimited hospitalisations, a lot of life's wisdom starts hounding you for change & everything starts making sense in an enlightened way. As a family, we successfully navigated the challenges of 2024 & emerged stronger. We are a wonderfully quirky family operating in its unique & unpredictable ways.

Unwavering Support: I feel deeply grateful for the unwavering support I have received through countless calls, visits, & texts from my loved ones. As time passes with stability & healing begins, I have truly appreciated the magic of connection. A kind conversation, a brief yet uplifting video call, or even a positive message can transform an entire day.

We don't need our parent's money, inheritance or name to make it through life. We need our parents to take us through life journey's with their wisdom, experiences, backing & unlimited faith in us even if we don't have much to offer in return.

Make it a Compassionate World: For those who have struggled to show compassion, know that the world's kindness is quietly working to reach you, helping you receive the love & empathy you deserve. May this inspire you to share that same compassion with others, honouring the true essence of the human spirit.

To everyone striving to make things happen: trust that the universe is working in your favour, guiding you towards victory & success.

Kindness of Strangers: Countless smiles from strangers becoming friends at hospitals make you believe in the human spirit. The kindness of strangers is a beautiful reminder of humanity's shared connections, a simple act of generosity or understanding from someone you don't know can restore faith, uplift spirits, & create ripples of compassion that extend far beyond the moment.

Fill your life with beauty & meaning, knowing each moment is a chance to create something wonderful as these chances are not everyone's privilege.
