so I have an idea I want to share for a story I'm writing and I'd love to gauge interest,,

The new year brings with it new resolve for a group of bored teenagers determined to live it up. they decide to make the last month of holidays one to remember, and together they experience all the hallmarks of adolescence: Going to the beach, getting way too drunk way too young, summoning spiritual entities in public bathrooms.

Mainly inconsequential activities, until the new school year begins...

I want it to be a fun Aussie school 'horror' story all about kids battling the demons of growing up and messing around with unfamiliar realms. I have a lot of work to do yet but maybe I'll share bits and pieces here. Any thoughts and opinions are always welcome 🧡

A radiant flame, engulfed by the crimson dragon. Who was once so full of life is now scattered across the dungeon floor, yet my heart burns for you ever stronger.

I'd love you even as dust.

I kiss every bone as I piece you back together.

The hands that healed me.

The arms that held me.

The legs that walked beside mine.

Only the ancient ones could understand a love so longing, so desperate to hold close that one would willingly break all convention.

Chunks of flesh fill in the empty spaces but it's not enough. I want to complete you.

I want to be wrapped in your warmth. I want to lose myself in the smell of soap and skin as our eyes meet. I've known not a peaceful sleep without your heartbeat lulling me.

To have that again, I'd give you all of me. I pour everything into bringing you back to me. For you, I'd lose myself a thousand times over.

You come together so perfectly. I can't help but admire every layer that forms you.

The intimacy of knowing you inside and out.

I wipe a tear from your face as I fight back my own. Creation is the most beautiful form of pain. The room is now silent, a single heartbeat breaking the stillness.

you don't know how impactful your writing is because it's been in your brain for far too long now. you've stared at it for hours and repeated "this sucks" over and over again to the point that you killed your capacity to feel anything about your work.

but trust me, once you get your shit out there, someone's gonna go over that paragraph you hate and go "jesus fucking christ" and put the book down to have an existential crisis.
