I’m sorry but I don’t think is ok to imply someone is heterosexual? Furthermore, someone who put hints about being part of the LGBT community and then “go back to heterosexuality” as you say may be having trouble coming out of the closet, so I find this quite rude.

A) Andrew and Harry are NOT queer icons in any way, shape or form. They are heterosexual men who use ambiguity and non-labelling to create speculation that they MIGHT be queer but anytime they get too closely linked to anything queer they back right the fuck into heterosexuality and "we're all one/love is universal" hippy dippy bullshit

B) Charlie Puth is a straight man who is aware of his large Gay fanbse, many of whom find him physically attractive, and happily shares sexualized images of himself to them. There's nothing wrong with that. He's not charging for the photos, they're all freely available for all on his social media and it's nice that he embraces his MLM following. Hot take alert; there's nothing wrong with straight male celebrities sexualizing themselves for any demographic of their fanbase. Sex and attraction are natural and it's not baiting to show off your body to an audience you know appreciates it.

C) Shawn is a complicated one and I have been frustrated with some of his no homo-lite behaviour in the past, but this guy has been harassed and humiliated over his sexuality publicly pretty much every day since he was about 16 years old. He has never said anything bad about the LGBT community, just sometimes clumsily stated that he is a heterosexual man and that it frustrates him when the speculation and mocking he gets over this continues when he's already clarified it multiple times. Whether anyone personally believes him or not is down to them but to paint him as somehow anti-Gay for this is kind of missing the forest for trees

D) Tom.....I'm not even sure what your point is? Passive behaviour? I don't get what you mean, honestly. I said this a few days ago but Tom's attitude to the LGBT community is literally fine. He's aware of us, he's aware he has LGBT fans and he's as polite and charming to them as he is to anyone else. Just because he's not running around with Pride Flags every time he appears in public or wear nail varnish and call doing so revolutionary doesn't mean that he's passive towards LGBT issues. He's not centering himself into the LGBT movement because it's not his movement and not his place and we don't need anything else from him (unless he wants to pose half-naked more, which is always welcomed)

E) Timothee. Yeah. You're right. I could have dragged him into this already and I'm surprised I haven't as it's not as if there's nothing to say there cos CMBYNM is a fucking MINEFIELD but ultimately I don't think he's done anything really egregious enough himself to warrant being grouped in with celebrities who court Queer audiences for their own benefit and then drop us like hot cakes once shit gets too real. Timothee's attitude seems more in line with Tom's and I think and hope that's where it stays.
