Date of Birth: Unregistered.

Adoption Date: September 2nd.

Age: 14 years old.

Found on the very day the Skeleton King was trapped in the Dark One's egg hidden underground on the planet Shuggazoom.

Just as it was on the day the hero and leader of the Hyper Force, Chiro, lost his life after sealing the egg and falling into the hands of the Mandarin.

Once the Hyper Force found the baby, there was a long period of discussion about the baby's fate.

The plan was to place him in an orphanage, as no records of his parents or any legal documents revealing his identity were ever found.

Another characteristic that cast doubt on the decision was that the baby possessed nothing but the Primate Power, an energy the child shouldn't have.

In the end, the adoption was officially finalized two months after the baby was found, and he was given the name Jasper Nexus, the middle name being one they found embroidered on the baby's dress when he was found.

The last name used was for the purpose of legal registration and allowing the little one to attend preschool. They wanted to provide him with a "normal" environment during his early years and to keep him safe while the team continued to protect the galaxy.

*The last name is a hc that @sunsetcarnation264 allowed me to use, being the surname she uses for the Alchemist.

My biggest tip for fanfic writers is this: if you get a character's mannerisms and speech pattern down, you can make them do pretty much whatever you want and it'll feel in character.

Logic: Characters, just like real people, are mallable. There is typically very little that's so truly, heinously out of character that you absolutely cannot make it work under any circumstance. In addition, most fans are also willing to accept characterization stretches if it makes the fic work. Yeah, we all know the villain and the hero wouldn't cuddle for warmth in canon. But if they did do that, how would they do it?

What counts is often not so much 'would the character do this?' and more 'if the character did do this, how would they do it?' If you get 'how' part right, your readers will probably be willing to buy the rest, because it will still feel like their favourite character. But if it doesn't feel like the character anymore, why are they even reading the fic?

Worry less about whether a character would do something, and more about how they'd sound while doing it.
