Not quite sure what to do yet but I’ve bought her gifts. I don’t exactly know how much expensive jewelry she needs but some more can’t hurt, right?”

“What kind of a certain lifestyle?” Roksana asked, brow arched. “You’re gonna stress yourself out then. Have you guys come up with a plan to make this lifestyle happen where you’re not overworked or having an unhappy wife because of it? Because I doubt she’d want that to be a part of making this happen.” She nodded in agreement about Valentine’s Day, only to end up giving a feeble shake of her head and a shrug of her shoulders, “It’s stupid. She made a joke and I didn’t find it funny is all. She apologized but I’m being sensitive and bitter, so...yeah. Sounds childish as hell, I know.” Listening to his Valentine’s Day plans made her lips tug into a soft smile. “Probably not. She’s a realtor, right? It’s nice to accessorize and have little things that help keep up her confidence while selling people on a home. Maybe make her a nice dinner, or take her somewhere nice though too. Just don’t wait too late on making reservations.”

Nerissa was grateful that the other woman caught her can before it rolled off into traffic. She needed it for that night, and she really didn’t want to have to go back to the store because the can ended up squashed in the middle of the road. “You sure? I don’t mind, it’s a way of saying thank you.. And I make the best pasta,” she stated. She offered a small smile, looking down the sidewalk. “Thank you,” she said. “It’s just this way,” she said, beginning to walk.

“Hey it’s fine. Yeah I’m sure,” Roksana said. Meaningful as it seemed to be for the other woman, Roksi wasn’t hungry and she didn’t want to be paid for a simple act of kindness. With the grocery items she’d gathered, she followed the other woman, “Seems like with the whole reusable shopping bag thing, the regular grocery bags would be sturdier.”

“I knew Disneyland was smaller, but I didn’t know all the other fun facts about it. Like Sleeping Beauty’s castle? That is something I would want to see. Just to see how it differs from Cinderella. I do know about Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Universal Studios. I went there to visit Hogwarts. One of my favorite places to be.” Ezri was a huge Harry Potter fan and there was no way he would ever not go to Hogwarts if the opportunity presented itself. “It a shame that during baseball season, I live about less than an hour from Disneyland, and have never visited. Maybe Instead of traveling, I should explore my local surroundings first.” He said that with a little chuckle as if he was teasing, but the more he thought about it, the more it made sense to him. “Why don’t you like Florida, or better yet, why do you call Florida a fright fest?”

“Yeah the castles are supposed to be pretty damn luxurious. Which makes sense considering it’s Disney,” she mused with a small chuckle. Nodding to what he said he knew wand had visited, she smirked, “I’d like to see it sometime. And try actual butterbeer from there.” When he mentioned baseball season, Roksana gave a slow nod, “Oh, alright that’s where I’ve recognized you from. I thought you looked familiar but I couldn’t figure out why. But yeah, you should check out Disneyland sometime. Sounds like you’re enough of a fan that you’d like it.” When asked about Florida, Roksana gave a slightly playful roll of her eyes, “Have you heard any of the stories coming out of Florida? Alligators in swimming pools, people taking bath salts and eating faces, notoriously shady politics... Nevermind there’s a whole season for hurricane wreckage. No thanks.”

      “Have you ever seen The Crimes of Grindelwald?” The question was one that had been borne of a topic burning in the young man’s mind for several weeks now, one he hadn’t yet recieved a chance to fully express. Though seeing as he and his friend had just sat down for lunch, now was as good a time as any - especially given the array of articles and videos he had ingest dissecting the lackluster film. Needless to say, he was a… rather disappointed fan. “Because let me tell you, seeing that movie was the biggest letdown of my life. Ever.”

“Surprisingly, no I haven’t,” Roksana said to the other. “I usually make a point to see films related to the Harry Potter Wizarding World, but this was the first time I really wasn’t excited to see it. I might Red Box it sometime but...eh. Johnny Depp definitely doesn’t excite me the way he once did, so that didn’t help.” Her shoulders rose and fell. “That bad, huh?”

It wasn’t as cold out that day as it could have been, so Nerissa took that opportunity to get a little fresh air. The grocery store wasn’t too far on foot, so she got the stroller ready, and bundled up her daughter before leaving the house. Forty five minutes later she was on her way home again, pushing the stroller. She had needed several bags for everything, and naturally had forgotten her own fabric ones at home. So the thin, unreliable, plastic bags were what she had to work with. A few were in the small space on in the bottom, underside of the stroller. The rest, she had the little handles looped around her hands as she pushed the stroller, the bulky part of the bag wedged between that and her body. Half way home, the bottom of the biggest, fullest bag gave out and her stuff was all over the sidewalk. Noticing someone coming close, as she was bent down picking things up, she sighed. She didn’t have enough hands or space in the stroller for all of this stuff. “I will give you ten dollars and a big bowl of pasta if you help me bring this stuff back to my place.”

Roksana had just left a nearby coffee shop, a nice, warm latte between her palms. She was enjoying the chilly, but not altogether frigid winter weather that day and had taken the bus to fulfill her delivery a moment ago. On her way back to the bus stop, however, she neared a woman who had just lost a bag of groceries and winced a little, picking up her pace to stop a can from rolling off of the curb. “Keep the money. And don’t worry about the pasta. I don’t mind helping out.” She picked up the can and a tucked a few other items against the bend of her arm, managing them without losing her latte. “Just lead the way.”

Kiara: My shop is finally open since the repairs are done, but now one of the pipes burst and I have a huge flood. So the shop is closed down again. Do you mind helping me with clean up? I can't get in touch with any of my stylists at the moment.

Roksana: Shit. Yeah I can help out with the cleanup but do you also have someone coming to look at the pipes, and any potential water damage to your place?

“That’s a nice name. Mine is so bland–your’s on the other hand is very unique. Mom give you that name or your dad?” He asked. “I’m actually not new. I’ve been in this city for about two years now. It’s pretty great. Maybe it’s because we work at different locations or this city just is big.”

Roksana shrugged. “The spelling’s unusual but I wouldn’t say the name is. Darren’s not a name you hear too often though. Makes me think of Bewitched if anything,” she admitted, sitting up a bit when their drinks were presented to them. Roksi picked hers up and gave a mock toast with it with a mumbled, “Thanks,” before knocking it back. “I work from home, but most likely the latter too. I like checking out different bars so I can’t exactly call myself a regular at this place, but I’ve been back a few times.”
