PV, specifically awakened PV, being far more powerful than Smilk initially estimated he was is such a yummy concept for me. He resents PV for it sooooo much and pouts about it all dramatic like

Virgin Shadow Milk is so funny to me. He acts so high and mighty and is so flirty you’d honestly take him for someone who’s experienced a very wide range of sexual encounters, especially with his age (old as hell brah😭!), but he’s actually clueless. Not for real clueless—obviously he knows how it works technically, but he’s so inexperienced it’s laughable. When PV’s on top of him he sort of just freezes and stares up at him, and PV can so obviously see how unsure he is. It takes a moment for everything to click, but eventually PV understands and just blurts it out with a soft smile—‘Have you never done anything like this before?’

And that makes Smc MAD because it’s EMBARRASSING and there’s NO WAY the literal PURE. VANILLA. has more experience than him.

In fact, PV has a LOT of experience that Smc is more than dumbfounded to find out about. Freaknilla nation rise 💁‍♀️!

Thinking about Shmilk biting PV as a way to show love, but his teeth are so sharp and he’s so aggressive with it that PV has to gently pry his head away and ask him why he did that, only for the other to give him a half offended, half confused look before realization sets in. That’s not how normal people love. Not in a way that draws blood.

He’s not used to being gentle at all. He’s a beast, he has claws and canines. He’s naturally drawn to the more violent aspects of love. Like obsession and possession. Even if something isn’t inherently harsh, even if it’s something as gentle as a hold, he’ll make it vicious in some way.

PV’s really gotta help him unlearn that. If it’s even possible. It’s more instinct than learned behavior for the beast by now. Lol

Speaking of Smilk being frail, without the power of his soul jam I’d think it takes him a lot of effort to float around or transform or use any magic at all, which gives him almost no defenses. And it’s humiliating.

In a redemption AU where’s he’s (basically) forced to stay at the vanilla kingdom, I’d imagine he’s very weary. He doesn’t usually walk, and without being able to float around freely he stumbles instead.

Some of his new defenses are more rabid in nature. He’ll bite out of fear if he’s pushed enough, and it hurts a good amount because his teeth aren’t exactly dull. But PV stays resilient and, of course, ultimately understands what’s going on and tries to help or talk about it but Smilk shuts it down immediately.

There’s no way he’s going to humiliate himself by admitting he was indeed weakened to an almost comical degree.

Is it obvious I like weak Smilk…

I heard somewhere that Shadow Milk is supposedly far more fragile than the other beasts and that’s why he’s always floating around instead of walking. Idk if that’s even canon but I like the idea of it, it’s funny.

PV figures it out eventually and SM is mortified ‘cause now PV is being even more gentle with him and it makes him feel weak and SICK to his STOMACH

Puremilk hc that PV grabs SMC’s waist a lot as a way to keep SMC ‘grounded’ (cause he always floating for some damn reason🤦‍♀️) and in his eyesight because

1. PV’s eyesight isn’t the best and he uses touch as a sort of replacement sometimes

2. Letting SMC out of your sight just isn’t very good in general

3. PV a freak in my HUMBLE opinion
