A little reflection on Vox and Val dynamic, since their relationship had a bit more space in the last episode with the kiss and the little dance.

So, we have seen how Vox can hypnotize demons with his eye, right?

Except it probably doesn't work on Valentino since he's blind af...which, idk, I think it's pretty sweet because it makes them more balanced. Doesn't matter if Vox slips, his hypnosis can't do actual damage on Valentino anyway.

if there's one thing this last episode has affirmed for me about Alastor it's that he FUCKING HATES being reminded that he's not the most powerful creature in hell.

Like, he hates being ignored by Carmilla when she says she doesn't care why he was gone

He hates Lucifer ON SIGHT

He threatens to KILL Husk when he dares to mention that Alastor is working for someone more powerful than him

and now this.

Alastor freaking out because he almost died. Something almost killed him. He can fucking die. There is something more powerful than him out there. And it's not something he can ignore or brush off because it almost killed him.

Alastor hates the reminder that he's not as powerful as he tells people he is. He isn't indestructible, he isn't invincible. And he fucking hates that.

Bitch was like, HOLD MY FUCKING MIC even though he canonically only helps seriously Charlie if he's threatened (like for the promo and the wall).

Alastor being all “Charlie is like a daughter to me!” when in fact their relationship is usually polite antagonism at best is so damn funny to me. Like he never even really believed in Charlie’s ambitions, he was at the Hotel for laughs, but then an opportunity falls into his lap to taunt Lucifer in emotionally damaging ways and get away with it and he ran.
