I'm just writing this to express my personal idea.
I started reading Detective Conan more than ten years ago, since I was a 7-year-old kid, and I still follow the series until now as a young adult.
Yep, I was a curious child who sneakily read my older brother's manga. But Case Closed has a unique charm to me, who enjoy light horror and mystery.
I still remember the day when I first read Book 16, when KaiShin met face-to-face for the first time.
The only thing I could think after finishing reading it is, "Why do Kaito Kid and Conan look so similar to each other? Are they long-lost brothers or something?"
Of course, I didn't think that they were actually related. Because, as people have mentioned, Shinichi/Conan has "a universal face," which many characters in the series shared.
As Kaito only shows up with his real face for a short time in DC, gradually, I forget about that question I had.
However, on one fateful day when I was a teenager, I encountered a Kaishin fanfic on Wattpad. That fanfic wasn't that good, but still, thanks to it, I got hooked up in the ship. And then that question reappeared in my mind: "Why are they looking so much like twins?".
I started to wonder again if there would be a reveal later that they are long-lost brothers. It's a problem. But I really like their chemistry. And, sorry for being blunt, there would be no consequences even if it were true. They are both boys, right? So, in the end, I still ship them. Love knows no boundaries, after all.
Hence, when movie 27 comes out and it is confirmed that they are cousins, I honestly do not feel much shock. I made my mind for it long ago.
I do find it funny that Kaito is now considered the "elder brother" between the two of them. Toichi is Yusaku's older twin brother, right? So that means Kaito, the one who was born in June, can now call Shinichi, whose birthday is in May, his little brother. Shinichi won't like this.

I'm new to this fandom, having just watched the anime and movies this week. But I was immediately got hooked by this CP.
To me, what makes Kagehina so appealing is that I can actually imagine them growing old together, despite the hardships thrown in their way.
They support, believe and protect each other. There's nothing more precious than that.
Even if, they have to break it up (in some fanfic) after they graduated from Karasuno, I still can see the hope of them reattach the red string one day, when two of them both grow up into respectable adults and professional athletes.
There are so many opportunities and possibilities for this ship and I can't get enough of it 😍
