You are cordially invited to join the Third Annual Riverdale Holiday Card Exchange!

It is no secret that this year has been one for the record books. We’ve all been on a roller coaster of emotions, but why not end it on a high note, spreading some Riverdale love and cheer?!

Who it’s for: anyone that likes snail mail and sharing and receiving holiday cheer! (Please keep in mind while being a member of the Bughead Family Discord is not required, it does make communications easier. For more information or to join, please message me)

How it works: You will fill out the linked form with your information, send out holiday cards and/or small gifts to your randomly assigned giftees, and receive goodies in your postbox in return! You can send out a regular card with a short note, paste a picture of your giftees favorites, or make your own handmade card.

Basically, you get to smile and make someone else smile, too. Anything goes here (within the scope of the law). If you want to send a small trinket or gift with it, feel free to do that (but it isn’t required by any means)! Remember, if it is being sent internationally, make sure you follow the procedure for customs.

Important Dates:

Applications due by 11/18/2020, 11:59pmEST.

Exchange address will be sent out by 11/23/2020

Deadline to mail out cards by: 12/12/2020

This is open to any and all religions, or lack thereof.

Your real name is not necessary, as long as you provide your full mailing address

You must be over the age of 18 to participate because of various privacy laws concerning minors (but if you’re underage, you’re welcome to start your own exchange).

chadwickboseman It is with immeasurable grief that we confirm the passing of Chadwick Boseman. 

Chadwick was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016, and battled with it these last 4 years as it progressed to stage IV. 

⁣A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much. From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy. ⁣⁣

It was the honor of his career to bring King T’Challa to life in Black Panther. ⁣He died in his home, with his wife and family by his side. ⁣

The family thanks you for your love and prayers, and asks that you continue to respect their privacy during this difficult time. ⁣⁣

Hello everyone and welcome to The Seventh Bughead Fanfiction Awards! The eternal hiatus may be upon us, but our fanon creators have been generous in their offerings, supplying fandom with a much needed fix of our favorite characters (and some quality escapism). We are excited to give our thanks and celebrate some of the best authors, fanfics, and overall creators in our community. This round, the awards are being brought to you by @theheavycrown, @smugheadjonesthethird, & @bettycooper with clutch assistance from @arsenicpanda. Now, on with the show!

RULES

To promote variety in nominations, a fic & author may only be nominated for a maximum of 2 categories each. If either is nominated for more than 2 categories, the final categories will be decided based on how many votes each category received, and only the top 2 will be selected.

Likewise, each nominated fic or author may only win 1 award each during the voting round.  Whichever category receives the most votes will win the award - subsequent category wins will go to the runner-up.

All fics must have an initial publish date between January 1, 2020 and June 30, 2020.

If a fic has been nominated, or won, in any previous Bughead Fanfiction Awards, it will not be eligible for nomination this round. The full, updated list of past winners can be found here.

Nominations through our inboxes or replying to this post will not count. Please use the Google Form only.

Each fic/content creator only needs to be nominated once to continue onto the voting round.

If you bribe your readers for votes in exchange for “prizes,” eg. faster updates, you will be disqualified.
