Gifted and delivered this #commandcenter to a family in my #buynothing community. Hopefully this will help a mom of three young boys gain some organization! I understand the difficulties when it comes to schedules, meals, chores and more, moms: we've got be "on" all the time! what a job! I'm thankful I can gift my "talent" and services. Add some baskets around this for mail or library books, hang backpacks underneath, the possibilities are endless! ENJOY!

Freebie Friday! (on sunday)

Yay, it’s giveaway time! I’m behind AGAIN but hey that’s mom life! One day all my freebie fridays will fall on an actual friday (ack who am I kidding!)

This is a fun project to do with kids especially on those bored rainy days! Simply print out in color on cardstock type paper, cut out each design (top and bottom) and glue onto the end of a clothespin (you can get a bag of clothespins at the dollar tree if you’re near one), wait for the glue to dry and start playing!...and remember to just keep swimming! Raising responsible kids

I have (for a long time) made sure my kids help out around the house, I started them with a basic fun magnetic chart around 3-4 years old and kept it up (with changes as they grew) to this day. I love this latest chore chart design because it’s simple, easy to follow and use and not very expensive! $3.50 plus you get two charts in one! Cloth Diaper bottom cream

I’m not extreme granola mom, I like to think I have a good balance of modern day mom/housewife mixed with old school ideas. I do what I can when I can and you know what...that’s good enough in my opinion! We’re busy people, women are BUSY so don’t try to be “perfect” choose what’s important to you and focus on those areas. You’re an awesome Momma! 

At the top of my “pick and choose” list are my kiddos!

Here’s my recipe for homemade booty patootie cream: (safe for cloth diapers!)

I use the little “meat” baby food jars because they are smaller and baby butt cream goes a LONG way so you don’t need a huge jar! This small size is great for the diaper bag too

Ingredients: Coconut Oil, Pure Natural Beeswax, lavender and Melaleuca essential oils.

1/2 oz beeswax

heaping 1/2 cup coconut oil

melt the beeswax and oil in a bowl placed over boiling water (or double boiler if you have it)

let it slowly melt together

let it cool in another bowl until just warm, add in 10 drops each essential oils and mix together well. This makes just enough for two little baby jars, just plop it in and you’re ready to go! Enjoy

Another thing I do to stay on budget is my hair! Basically I keep my hair the same for a while and then I start to get tired of it and then I scour pin after pin to find what I want to do with my hair and then I scour video after video of DIY haircuts, pick one and I go for it! It's great because by that time my first haircut has grown out so I have room to play with it. I used a henna dye this time to be more natural (since I'm all preggo) but it stinks and even 3 washes later my white towel STILL has yellow brown coming off when I pat my hair dry. and it STILL smells like old poopy henna. Gross.

Every morning it's the same one: Greek yogurt, banana, kale, spinach, carrots, frozen blueberries and pomegranate juice (because it's so delicious!) I love my #nutrininja **I also add peanut butter toast to the mix because I'm a girl who actually likes to feel full and not be hungry 2 seconds later! Making my own almond butter is next up when my current store Jar is empty!
