“ Hey ! ” sage called out, pulling her purse close to her body as she rushed over to a slightly familiar grocery isle. her eyes glanced from the suddenly empty shelf to the person holding what she had looked forward to all week long. “Is that the last one? ” she asked, even if she knew the answer already. “Come on, can’t you pick something else? It’s not even that good.” she added, trying to persuade them to put it back. When all else failed, she figured the truth was probably better.  “I uh, need that!”

plot idea - an actor au. your muse and allegra were romantic co-stars in a movie or show and everyone (critics, audience, etc) loved their “authentic” chemistry. a while later (weeks, months, years, whichever), allegra catches an interview with your muse where she hears them confess to having a crush on her while filming. allegra is floored and reaches out.

note - this is written on legacy but can be reposted on beta. any muses can be used if you prefer someone else, let me know. and an alternative can be made where allegra (or another muse) is the one confessing !

to hear their familiar voice on her tv was enough to stall allegra suddenly. yeah, she had just mindlessly put on the channel, hoping to have some background noise on as she cleaned around the living room, but her attention was immediately drawn to the other.

she’d loved working with them on set, and frankly, she had always thought they were attractive. but she was all about being professional, and had immediately stuffed those thoughts and feelings aside and had put in the work needed for it to be a success. their voice brought her out of her thoughts, only for her eyebrow to peak at her name being mentioned and hearing, ... oh yeah, i definitely had a crush on her while filming !

allegra stilled at the confession, staring at the screen as the next segment began. she had heard... what she had heard, hadn’t she ? rather than think too much about it, she reached for her phone, scrolling a little too far than she wanted to admit, to their contact and immediately sent out a quick text, half eager, half nervous to get their answer back.

“ they’re not a good fit. ” marisol answered, barely looking away from the scene in front of her. her nose wrinkled in annoyance, resisting the urge to press her fingers against the bridge of her nose at the terrible chemistry the two actors seemed to have. “ how did they end up getting the role ? nevermind that, what did you do to make it happen, huh ? because it certainly wasn’t my call. ” she glanced over at the other, shaking her head. “ big, costly mistake.studio execs are going to love this. ”

plot idea - inez is shopping for groceries when she crosses your muse and is completely left starstruck (made with legacy but can change it to b*ta)

inez had finally managed to resemble a human. after an unexpected breakup last week (was it really that unexpected, though ?), she had resorted to an unhealthy amount of takeout, having her favorite Thai place almost on speed dial and her Uber Eats app had absolutely taken the frequently used spot this week. but she figured she had wallowed in her self-pity enough as it was ; and she needed groceries, if the wilted lettuce in her fridge was anything to go by. 

as she was going through her minimal shopping list, ambling through the different isles ; inez finally stopped abruptly as she spotted the other further down the isle. her teeth dug into her plump bottom lip as she recognized them almost immediately. two problems instantly arose within her, one; stemming from actually needing something on that side of the shelves and the other ? well, them. because no f*cking way were they here of all places. and how exactly was she supposed to act around them ? chill, girl. they’re just normal people like you, she thought. 

pushing her cart forward, she hesitated when she neared them. what was she supposed to lead with ? hey, i just got myself off before coming here with the vibr*tor from your company that’s modeled after your d*ck ? great investment by the way. clearly not. shaking away those thoughts for the time being, the brunette sighed, moving closer before she lost total confidence.   “ excuse me ? i just wanted to say... i’m a bi---. i mean, do you mind if i just grab something real quick ? i’ll-- get out of your way. ” ... smooth. real smooth.

Character A realising just how much clingier Character B can get after sex and secretly enjoying it even though they outwardly complain about it constantly. (Bonus: And then Character B suddenly stops being clingy and Character A’s thrown for a loop by it. “Did I do something wrong? Why won’t they cuddle with me afterwards? I can’t believe this, I need these cuddles more than I need anything else that happens before; you can’t just hook me on that good shit and then take it away from me.” Turns out, they might have complained a bit too much, which ended up getting to Character B’s head, so Character A decides to right their wrongs by initiating the cuddles instead.)

Character A becoming so familiar with how Character B reacts to their touch and taking immense pleasure in teasing the shit out of them and revelling in the noises they make before giving them what they want.

Post-coital snuggles that certainly don’t mean anything. 

“I want to make you feel the way you make me feel,” Character A whispers, sending shivers skittering down Character B’s spine. 

“You’ve been staying over a lot these days, even though it wasn’t something you used to do. What changed?” “I don’t know, I just like waking up to your face.”

“You’re staring at me like that again.” “Like what?” “Like you’re… Never mind.” 

“How am I supposed to not read into things if you keep treating me like this?”

“…You promised me you wouldn’t fall in love with me so why did you…” “I can’t help what I feel. I’m sorry.” 

“I shouldn’t have agreed to this.” “What? What the hell is that supposed tomean?” “Because you’re making it so hard for me to not fall in love with you.” 

“What exactly are we doing right now?” Character A whispers, breathing ragged against Character B’s lips, their heart beating erratically in their chest. “Fooling around,” Character B answers, squeezing their waist. “We’re fooling around, that’s all. That’s what we’ve been doing all along, right?” (The look in their eyes says otherwise, but Character A chooses to ignore that as they give in once again.)

“Stop stealing my hoodies! They aren’t cheap, you thief!” “But they’re comfortable and they smell like you and I can hold onto them when I start to miss you being next to me.” “I’m— how can you say that with a straight face?”  

“…So what are we?” “Friends who find each other extremely fuckable?” “Can you take me seriously for once—”
