And last but not least, say hello to Miles!

Why live for tomorrow when you can live for today? 

A behind her cool guy visage Miles is an absolute dork, with a love for pirate and Superhero lore. She also isn't the best with impulse control, the kind of guy that would join a friends fight without hesitation. So when her bestie asks if she'd help with some illegal Superheroing she was SO down! 

Although she has the vibe that nothing can get to her, Miles really struggles with emotional intimacy and conflict - keeping even someone like Dev at arms length - as well as how her abstraction effects her everyday life and self-esteem. Hiding all this behind a cocky grin, she prefers travelling over settling down, favouring odd jobs and hookups along the way. It’s made her quite the jack-of-all -trades, and a handy person to know for whatever needs may arise (and she does mean whatever).

Xe-none!

The GREATEST Supervillain this pitiful city has ever seen!! Or atleast he claims.

Xe-none is a very prideful individual, especially when it comes to their work as one of the cities top Supervillains. Those were the days. Causing terror with his lovingly created mechines, monsters, mechine-monsters, all in a bid to take over the city and claim their rightful place as its ruler. Only for their plans to be thwarted by...Him. 

His nemesis, the beloved Starry Knight.

Oh what a sight the battles were, the thrill, the witty repartee,  each fight an event that no-one could get enough of! Sure Xe-none had not won a single battle, but many times they had gotten tantilizingly close! {they didn't not} Each fight left their head spinning, heart pounding and a deep, burning passion for... villainy! {they are also an idiot}

Not many could claim the cities main, number one Superhero as their nemesis but he could!... Or at least he did...

Months after the disapperance Xe-none had tried, tried to push down the near overwhemling sense of wrongness, tried to pull off another flawless evil scheme, but it wasn't the same. What was the point if He wasn't there? These newer heros didn't have the same flair, the same respect for the fight, the same witty responses, does no one care about monolouges anymore!? 

...It was no use.

Xe-none hid away in their secrect lab, left alone with only their faithful Underling to watch over them as they fell into a depressive rut.

Ten years later and his Underling finally managed to convince Xe-none to leave the lab (apparently only so many drivers can go missing before an area is banned on all delivery apps, but it wasn't like he could let his secret labs location be known now could he??) it was annoyingly correct that one could only go so far with a cooler fullied only with condement packets. 

So donning their newly created human disguise (it impressed even themself) they ventured into the city for groceries. During which a sorry human even stopped him for conversation as if he was one of them!(just goes to show this disguise was flawless! He was unrecognisable! What did that Underling of his know anyway?). This happened over the next few trips too and soon enough Xe-none's want for deviousness took over and they found themself playing into this decite more and more! And if this simpleton just so happens to spark that old flame in Xe-none, the flame of villainy {again, they are an idiot} Then who was he not to indulge in the odd scheme? Over the ensuing weeks, they had even managed to take a plain streetruffian {unwillingling, they tried to mug him and got a lecture on the art of villainy instead} under his wing and with his guidence, well anyone could be the next big Supervillain! (not as big as they were back in the day, but then no one could be).

Oh how he missed this.

Meet Lucero!

Lucero is just a guy trying to do his part. Go to work, do his job, head the shop, get home, make sure Dev [He's mentiee? Random teen that he kinda, sorta adopted years ago?] Has eaten and then relax for the night before doing it all again tomorrow.

It's a routine, it's not glamorous or awe inspiring like working at that damn Superhero institution, The Alliance. But Lucero has had a taste of that life and it now sits bitter on his tongue.

No, it's a safe normal life that normal people have and doesn't draw unwanted attention. Unwanted attention like the presumed retired Supervillain Xe-none, in a poor human disguise at his local grocery store??  Lucero may have cut all ties with the Alliance and disagrees with how they do things, but there was no way he could stand by and let a villain know for their city wrecking plots snoop around his neighbourhood! (He really couldn't afford to move right now!) It couldn't be too hard right? Talk to Xe-none, act like he had no idea who they were (they probably thought their disguise was flawless and they were unrecognisable) keep an eye on them in case they are up to anything while also not drawing the eye of the Alliance or revealing their shared past or catching feelings...simple right?

Personality: Quiet, Reliable, Tiered, Grounded. Can be: Competitive,  Confident and Smug at times, but only around certain people.

Relationships:

•Dev - his kinda kid, that's not technically his kid, but also not NOT his kid?

•Xe-none - Trouble 

•Miles - a kid with potential, just needs some guidance.

I've been developing a Superhero story [ Yet to be named], that I might make into a comic!

Meet Dev~♡

A sweet nerd with a love for bugs, tech, superhero lore and doing whats right. He would love to apply to become an offical (and legal) Superhero but her [Guardian? Mentor? Kinda dad?] Lucero is completely against the Superhero insitution, The Alliance, due to his own history. Dev would never, ever want to do anything to disappoint Lucero, not after everythings he's done for her. So needless to say, it's veeeeery important he dosen't find out about her illegal superheroing! What he doesn't know can't hurt him right?

Congratulations or deafening the concept of mortality!

Gravedale will always have a place in my heart for sure, but I will admit I'm not as hyperfixated on it atm as I was when doing my first redesigns.

There's other fandoms I've been engaging with along with making my own story! The latter of which being what has over taken my mind for most of this year lol
