Scheduled Maintenance & More
There will be scheduled maintenance starting at 09:00 server time on Wednesday, May 21st. This is an open-ended, curtains down maintenance as we prepare the site for the launch of our next Ancient breed, the Cirrus! The Flight Rising website will be unavailable to players during this time.
Date Change: 12th Anniversary & Festivals
To better support our team, we're making some changes to the start dates both for our upcoming anniversary event and our monthly holiday events.
Starting with our 12th Anniversary Event in June 2025, all festivals or events that start on a Sunday are moving to Monday.
And finally...
Let the new breed hype begin!

I don't normally step foot into the drama side of Flight Rising and I'm probably late to the drama fest, but for this I am. This is the only post I'm going to make, but I do need to say something. Also, hate will be deleted, and I will block if I see it necessary.
So, I've noticed some people being upset at the Girin familiar be a reward from a charity event, then being permanently retired, and saying it's a "Play to Win" tactic. Flight Rising has no "end game" to it. It's a game about breeding what kind of dragon colors and genes you want. There is no "end game" to be found.
The game will always be free to join and play. Yes, there is premium content like gems, breed scroll, familiars, apparel, and more. But a lot of free to play games have content like that as well.
The charity event is 90 days (3 months) long. I'm sure there's people who have pinglists for those who can't afford to donate. Also $2.50USD is equal to 250 gems in Flight Rising.
For those who do not want to donate, Fiona's Fantastic Familiars allow you to bond with familiars that are no longer obtainable via gameplay.
If the staff and their sensitivity specialist consultant are comfortable, then the Girin familiar could be a prize in Roundsey's Raffle Roulette.
Now there is the fact that people will get as many of the Girin familiar as possible and sell them for unreasonable prices in the Auction House? Yes, but that is done too other permanently retired items. Some best examples are the Elemental Sprites and Kickstarter familiars from 2013, Downtime Gifts for when the servers where down for longer than expected, and apparel.
There are ways for players who can't donate to get the Girin familiar and the staff trying to get the community to do something good. This is the first charity Flight Rising is trying to do, and people are upset? Come on, we're all better than that!
I've said my piece and now I return to having fun.

So, I was struggling with the Coliseum for years until I found Kiena's Coliseum Grinding/Exalting Guide. Kiena does mention another guide done by Culex which I recommend taking a look at alongside Kiena's.
I'm not the best at explaining, but I'll do my best.
For grinding, most recommend having your dragons at level 25, so you can grind in any venue for what you need.
Kiena's guide suggest the ratio for 4 Str/2 Quick/1 Vit for the Hard-Hitting dragons and 4 Int/2 Quick/1 Vit for your Mage/Healing dragons.
I have three dragons that are level 25 and these are their states. Two Hard-Hitting and a Mage. Tella: STR 10, AGI 8, DEF 5, QCK 50, INT 124, VIT 13, MND 5. Sasuke & Aestus: STR 126, AGI 8, DEF 5, QCK 58, INT 5, VIT 11, MND 5
Sasuke & Aestus have three Berserker stones, so if they didn't have the stones their stats would be 111 Strength/49 Quickness/11 Vitality.
I tend to go with the Glass Canon builds. My dragons that use Scratch I focus on the stats that Sasuke & Aestus have. If a dragon uses Meditate I aim for Tella's stats.
Now Tella's should be STR 5, AGI 8, VIT 13, QCK 50, INT 129, DEF 5, MND 5, but I had experimented and I'm fine with how her stats are.
With the build I have, you can grind/farm in most venues with just the two Hard-Hitting dragons. For the level 25 venues I use my Mage/Healer dragon, since those dragons have aid and that really helps keep the Hard-Hitting from getting knocked out. You can use only you're Hard-Hitting dragons in those venues, but they can lose battles easily if they don't have Sap or have health potions. For Hard-Hitting dragons, Sap is a good stone to have since it injuries the enemy and gives the dragon some health.
For stones, Sasuke has Scratch, Mist Slash, Sap, Rally, Eliminate, along with three Berserker and two Ambush.
Aestus has Scratch, Pestilent Slash, Sap, Rally, Clobber, along with three Berserker, an Ambush, and Field Manual.
Tella has Meditate, Rally, Aid, Contuse, Shroud, along with two Scholar, Berserker, Discipline, and Ambush.
Since the dragons I use don't have an element that is able to stop an enemy from attacking like; Fossilize, Shock, and Congeal. So, I added Clobber as a replacement.
Enamor can stop enemies from use ability stones, so it can work. Be careful with enemies that have scratch, though.
I have not used Sear, Disorient, Drown, and Envenom yet so I can't say if they're good or not.
Aestus did have Contaminate, but I didn't like it and replaced it with Clobber.
With leveling up, Strength and Quickness maybe a point of two off, but that's ok. Once Vitality is at 11, I focus on making Quickness equal to what Kiena or Culex has put in their guides. This does mean that Strength might be a point or two behind, but that's ok. I have three dragons I'm working on that have the stats of STR 58, AGI 6, DEF 7, QUK 31, INT 6, VIT 11, MND 7 at level 13 and they knock out enemies just fine.
If you're having trouble with leveling your dragons, you can stay in a venue that is a level lower than the level of your dragons. Like the level 13 dragons I'm working on, I can fight in Forgotten Cave (level 12) or Bamboo Falls (Level 13) and still get experience. Though you only get Victory Bonus if you're in a level that is the same as your dragons or higher.
I hope this helps you in some way. I'm not the best at explaining, but I highly recommended checking out Kiena and Culex's guides. Both have different builds that you can try out.
Leveling up dragons is hard, I understand. But once you get some level 25 dragons with full sets, it's 100% worth it.

My breeding pair of Grapefruit (xxx). Really happy with the genes, though not sure if I want to add an effect to them yet.
Springleaf is a Cottage Core queen. Mezzo like crystals and gems that he sells.
