As the newest member of the coven, you were still getting used to the vibe and many personalities that co-existed. Rio in particular caught your attention. She was dark and mysterious, making her even more interesting to observe from afar. 

You noticed that she didn’t smile much. Maybe she was just more serious or didn’t like the coven. You weren’t sure, but you were toying with the idea of investigating. 

That night, you found Rio alone on the road, picking up random rocks and leaves to observe them.

“Hey Rio, whatcha up to?” You asked casually.

Rio gave you a look that told you to mind your own business.

“Do you need something?” Rio asked flatly. 

“Umm, no I just wanted to chat for a little bit if that’s alright,” you answered.

“Chatting is for losers,” Rio said back, trying to walk quicker to get away from you.

You took this opportunity to break the ice.

“Are you calling me a loser?” You asked playfully.

Rio glanced at you while saying yes. 

“Hey! I am not a loser!” You insisted, poking her lightly in the ribs.

She flinched away, her mouth contorting awkwardly to suppress her yelp. 

Your eyes quickly met, but before you could Rio pressed her hand against your mouth to prevent you from asking any other questions and pinned you to the ground. 

“You don’t say a thing about what you just saw. Got it rookie?” Rio said.

“But I just have questions,” you answered truthfully, struggling to escape her pin. 

“That’s also for losers,” Rio said, with the faintest hint of a smile on her face.

“But didn’t you just ask a question? You said ‘got it rookie?’,” you stated triumphantly. 

Rio narrowed her eyes at you, before using her free hand to tickle your side.

“AHAHA RIO STAHAHAP!” You squealed, jerking around in her grasp.

“I’ll stop when I want to,” Rio said, now using her hand to claw at your tummy.

“PLEHEHEASE IHIHIM SOHORRY!” You apologized, as Rio reluctantly accepted your apology and let you go.

You quickly sat up now, knowing your next move.

“You still don’t know why I wanted to chat, but now you’ve set it up perfectly,” you said, as you flipped Rio over and pinned her by sitting on her waist. You had both of her wrists in your hand at this moment.

“Rookie, what are you doing?” Rio asked in confusion. 

“I wanted to know why you don’t ever smile,” you asked, giving her puppy dog eyes, hoping this would soften her. 

Rio rolled her eyes, knowing that you wouldn’t let her go until you got a satisfying answer.

“I don’t know…it’s a mix of things,” Rio said, avoiding eye contact. 

You suddenly frowned, seeing that it was more than just something playful.

“Well, you can tell me if you want,” you said comfortingly.

“You’re not really giving me much of a choice, are you?” Rio said.

“Nope, but I see you’ve done another loser tactic of asking a question,” you teased, reaching down to poke her torso.

Rio squirmed underneath you, fighting any giggles that were trying to escape. 

“Rookie! Stop it!” Rio demanded. You giggled in glee, knowing it was much more fun to be the tickler than the ticklee. 

“Tell meeee,” you insisted.

“Ugh fine, you pest. It’s two things actually. One, I’m literally death. That’s nothing to smile about and my dark persona fits with who I am. And two…,” Rio trailed off for a bit, glancing at you to see if you wanted more.

“You don’t have to say the rest if you don’t want to,” you said, knowing that she felt uncomfortable.

“Well, you deserve to know. Especially since I feel we’ve gotten a bit closer in the last few days,” Rio said. You nodded in agreement.

“It’s silly and dumb, but I don’t like the way my smile looks. I don’t like the small gap in my front two teeth. It just reminds me that I’m not perfect,” Rio said with a sigh.

You raised your eyebrows at her, not expecting that to be her answer. 

“Rio, you’re literally the Green Witch. Nobody else can do what you do. Your smile doesn’t change that, and nobody is perfect,” you said.

“It’s just an insecurity I guess,” Rio said.

“Can I see it? I’m sure it’s beautiful and fits you so perfectly,” you said genuinely. 

Rio looked at you for a bit before she said no. However, you saw her smirk slightly, giving you the signal that she would allow it, but you would have to work for it.

“You little minx!” You teased, now forcefully pinning her arms above her head.

“Just know that you revealed a perfect way to get you to smile. So I’m in charge right now,” you said to Rio, as she just rolled her eyes and shook her head.

“What? You don’t think I could be in charge?” You asked.

Rio shook her head without a missed beat or change of expression. You narrowed your eyes at her, looking down to see where you should tickle her first.

You knew her ribs were ticklish from the poke earlier, so you decided to start there, lightly digging in. 

You felt Rio jolt against you, a good sign indeed. She clamped her mouth shut tight, fighting a smile off. 

“Awww, come on Rio, just let those giggles out,” you teased, moving your hands up towards her upper ribs.

You saw her eyes widen a bit, giving you the answer you needed. 

“Ooooh the upper ribs are a weakness huh?” You asked, using one finger to tickle in between her uppermost ribs.

She kicked and jerked underneath you, clearly struggling to not laugh.

“Let me see that beautiful smile!” You insisted, now using both hands to tickle into her armpits.

Rio couldn’t take it anymore, bursting into loud, beautiful laughter.

“OHOHKAY ENOUGH PLEHEHEASE!” She begged, trapping your hands in her underarms. 

“THERE’S THAT SMILE!” You shouted in glee, taking it all in. You hardly noticed the gap in her teeth. What you noticed most was how her cheek bones lifted when she smiled. She really was beautiful. 

“IHIHI HAHAHATE YOHOHOU!” Rio shouted, as you reached up to tickle the side of her neck. You giggled as she scrunched up with a squeal.

“But your smile is beautiful, I just don’t think I can stop tickling you,” you teased.

Rio had enough and sent you flying off of her with a spell.

You landed in a pile of leaves unscathed.

You looked around for Rio but couldn’t find her anywhere.

“Rio? Where did you go?” You called out, now suddenly scared and unaware of where you were. 

You gasped as Rio flew in and grabbed you by surprise. Before you could comprehend what happened, some vines wrapped around you and the next thing you knew, you were tied against a tree.

“Rio! What the heck is happening!?!” You questioned.

“What’s happening is, I don’t let people like you get away with what you just did,” Rio said, now flashing a full, teasy smile. 

“You are evil!” You cried, tugging to see if you could get out of the vine that was wrapped around your body. 

“You like that I’m evil,” Rio teased.

“Yeah so does Agatha,” you muttered under your breath.

“What was that?”

“Nothing!” You exclaimed, eyes darting away from her.

“Really?” Rio asked, bending down to take a feather across the soles of your feet. 

“Nohoho! Dohohon’t doho thahahat!” You giggled, kicking your feet as much as you could. 

“Oh don’t do what? Tickle your sensitive little feet?” Rio asked.

“Yes!” You shouted.

“Well if you insist!” Rio said, using the feather on one foot, while spidering over the other with her fingers.

You jumped due to the change in sensation, bursting out in laughter.

“OHOHO MY GOHOD RIO! STAHAHAP THIHIS NOHOW!” You demanded, unable to move anything but your feet.

“You should’ve thought twice before messing with me, Rookie. Just remember, I’m death. This could be your fate. Maybe I’m tickling you to death,” Rio said flatly. 

You whined in protest, as she continued to torment your feet. 

“You ready for this next part?” Rio asked.

“No,” you said, dreading what was coming next. 

“This will teach you to never tickle me again,” Rio said threateningly, as she used both hands to tickle over the tops of your feet, making you scream and shout in protest. The tops were far worse than the bottoms of your feet.

“RIO STAHAHAP PLEHEHEASE IHIHIT TIHICKLES TOO MUHUHUCH!” You cried, feeling tears well up in your eyes.

“Oh that tickles? Why didn’t you tell me?” Rio teased now focusing on the tops of your toes, making you beg and cry uncle multiple times.

“Not so tough, are you?” Rio asked, finally letting up.

“I hate you so much,” you said while panting.

“You what?” Rio asked, dragging her nail across your collar bone.

“NO PLEASE!” You scrunched up any way you could, dissolving into pathetic giggles from her one finger. 

“Jeez, no need to overreact,” Rio laughed.

“I’m really ticklish,” you pouted, hoping to get her sympathy.

“Oh yeah, from that reaction alone I can tell,” Rio said, running her nail along it again to mess with you.

“RIO I SWEAR!” You shouted through your giggles.

“Alright, I’ve tortured you enough,” Rio said, as the vines unraveled and set you free.

“And Rookie. If you tell anyone about my smile or about my ticklishness, I will tickle you endlessly until you die,” Rio threatened.

You weren’t sure if she was truly serious but you complied anyway. She also never said anything about tickling her, so you would continue to do that to mess with her.

Natasha, Yelena and Kate were spending an afternoon together after running errands. While shopping, Natasha let the two younger women choose a treat. Yelena chose mac and cheese and Kate chose a box of chocolate chip cookies. 

“You know savory is way better than sweet,” Yelena said, pouring hot sauce on her mac and cheese.

“You do know that you’re making it spicy not savory, right?” Kate asked, as Yelena rolled her eyes.

Kate set her box of cookies on the counter, out of reach from the dogs. The girls then settled down on the couch to watch a movie. 

“Are you serious, Yelena?” Natasha asked, sighing as her sister chose to watch Captain America and the Winter Soldier. 

“What? Is it not a good movie?” Yelena questioned, smirking because they all knew she chose it to tease her sister about kissing Steve. 

“Any objections?” Yelena asked, as Kate shook her head no, afraid if she disagreed with Yelena that she would turn on her. 

Natasha gave her a knowing look, one that struck fear in the young girl. However, she would rather take her chances on Nat, who at least showed her mercy every once in a while.

“Alright, steamy Natasha and Steve movie it is,” Yelena said with a giggle, as Natasha threw popcorn at her. 

After the movie, Yelena went out to take Fanny on a walk, while Kate and Natasha stayed behind.

Kate wandered into the kitchen, looking for a snack. She knew her cookies would just make her hungrier and she could predict Yelena lecturing her about savory versus sweet.

“You looking for something to eat?” Natasha asked, following her.

“Yeah, I’m a little hungry and I don’t think a snack will do me much,” Kate commented.

“How about this? You eat some of Yelena’s mac and cheese to get vengeance for me for those little digs during the movie,” Natasha said with a slight smile. 

“But won’t she know it was me? You don’t even like mac and cheese,” Kate said.

“Don’t worry, I’ll handle Yelena. Do you want to be on my good side or not?” Natasha asked.

Kate sighed, knowing that this was her best chance to eat and also avoid Natasha’s punishment. 

“Good girl,” Natasha said, ruffling her hair slightly.

Kate quickly ate some, hoping that Yelena wouldn’t notice at all. However, Yelena was hungry after her walk and went straight to the mac and cheese.

“WHO ATE MY PRIZED POSSESSION?!?” Yelena shouted, quickly going to confront Kate and her sister.

Kate clearly stiffened up, but Natasha looked like she was used to this. 

“It was you Kate Bishop wasn’t it?! You’re a dirty little thief!” Yelena accused. 

“It wasn’t me!” Kate defended herself.

“Yelena turned towards her sister, looking for an answer.

“It was indeed Kate,” Natasha said, now smirking.

Kate’s mouth dropped open in disbelief, feeling betrayed as the redhead outed her.

“That’s not true!” Kate insisted.

“Your reaction says otherwise. Besides, I know Natasha doesn’t like mac and cheese. Just Steve,” Yelena said with a cackle. Natasha narrowed her eyes at her sister, knowing that she was past her three strike limit. But her focus right now was to get revenge on Kate.

“I can’t believe you tricked me!” Kate cried.

“Hey, you didn’t vote against the movie and let Yelena make fun of me the entire time,” Natasha said, as she helped her sister pin the brunette. 

“No, please! Don’t tickle me!” Kate said.

“Tickle you? Well now that you suggest that, it’s a good idea for what you’ve done,” Yelena said, sitting on her waist, as Natasha held her arms up.

The blonde began to skitter her nails in her armpits, causing Kate to burst out laughing. 

“YELEHEHENA I HAHATE YOU!” Kate shouted, kicking her legs frantically. 

“And I hate the fact you ate my mac and cheese,” Yelena commented calmly.

“I DIDN’T EHEHEAT AHAHALL OF IHIHIT!” Kate laughed.

Yelena smirked, bringing her hands down to softly squeeze her sides. Kate bucked against her, thrashing around to try to get away.

“You’re not going anywhere little girl,” Natasha teased.

“PLEHEHEASE! STAHAHAP IHIHIHIT!” Kate squealed, as Yelena began to poke her ribs and tummy.

“Where are you most ticklish?” Yelena questioned.

“IHIHI DOHONT KNOHOW!” 

“Try her feet,” Yelena told her sister.

Natasha let her arms go and went down to her feet. Kate tried to use this opportunity to push Yelena off of her, but the blonde was too quick, pinning her hands to her chest. 

Natasha smirked before gliding her nails over Kate’s soft feet. Kate let out a squeal, scrunching up her toes in an attempt to protect them. 

“YOHOHOU SNAHAHAKE,” Kate shouted at Nat, screaming with laughter now as the redhead sped up her nails as a result of the insult.

“OHOHOKAY STAHAHAP PLEHEHEASE NOHOHO MOHOHORE!” 

“Just tell us your worst spot and we’ll stop,” Yelena said.

“FIHINE! MY STOMACH!” Kate shouted over her laughter. The two sisters shared a look before they decided to take turns blowing raspberries on the poor girl’s stomach. Kate tapped out shortly after, and the girls let her go.

“That’s what you get for eating my mac and cheese,” Yelena said triumphantly. 

“And this is what you get for all the teasing you’ve done all day about Steve and me,” Natasha said, grabbing her sister in a bear hug and tickling any open spot on her upper body. 

“HAHAHA NATAHAHASHA NOHOHO!” Yelena laughed, flailing wildly. 

“This will teach you both who’s in charge and has all the power,” Natasha said, reaching up to skitter her nails on the back of Yelena’s neck, making her scrunch up and beg for her sister to stop. 

Natasha let her sister go reluctantly, truly enjoying the ability to make her squeal and giggle with a light touch.

“You two are both troublemakers,” Natasha commented.

“Yeah but you set me up,” Kate complained.

“Hmm, that’s true. You might be slightly more well behaved than Yelena over here,” Natasha quipped.

They could both tell that Yelena wanted to retort so badly but was afraid of being tickled again.

“Cat’s got your tongue?” Natasha teased.

“There is no cat on my tongue,” Yelena said in disgust.

“It’s just a saying,” Kate said, giving Yelena the side eye. 

“Whatever Kate Bishop.”

“Alright you two, no more bickering,” Natasha said.

“Such a mom,” Yelena said with an eye roll.

Natasha raised an eyebrow at her, reaching out to tickle her again.

“No, stop! I’m sorry,” Yelena whined, quickly moving away from her sister.

“That’s what I thought,” Natasha said.

Kate decided it was best to keep her distance from both of them and to keep her mouth shut. She didn’t want them to tag team her again. She seemed to always get it the worst, but of course she didn’t mind.

The coven was currently on the way to their next trial, with a little bit of time to pass. At the campfire, stories were being exchanged.

“So who exactly was your scar?” Billy asked Rio, out of genuine curiosity.

Rio’s eyes shifted a bit, sneaking a glance at Agatha to see if she had permission to share. Agatha gave a small nod of approval.

“Agatha. She is my scar.” Rio said as the rest of the coven gasped.

“Oh don’t act like this is a surprise,” Agatha said, hinting that she was such a catch.

“So Agatha, since you guys dated I’m sure you have stories about Rio?” Alice asked. Rio shot her a dirty look.

“Yeah we need something interesting to pass the time!” Lilia chimed in.

“Agatha if you say one word, just know I can end your life,” Rio threatened.

“But you wouldn’t,” Agatha smirked, thinking back to any embarrassing secrets she had on Rio.

“Well I will start by saying, Rio is not as scary as she seems. Yes she’s technically ‘death’ but on the inside she’s softer than a cinnamon roll!” Agatha said, earning a laugh from the coven. Rio gritted her teeth knowing where Agatha was going with this.

“Yeah and you’re softer than charmin toilet paper,” Rio spat back, but Agatha was determined to continue.

“Anyway, one time we were on a date and she kept being teasy and hinting about the stuff we were gonna do after in bed. And I got so annoyed and wanted to just shut her up. It was a random spark but I decided to tickle her.” Agatha said with a small giggle.

The whole coven gasped in shock, thinking Agatha was insane for even daring to do that.

“And what happened when you did that?” Jen asked.

“Oh she just let out the cutest squeal EVER! I squeezed her side and she jerked away. I had never seen her face turn redder.” Agatha said.

Rio stood up from her seat and lunged for Agatha. Not as an attempt to harm or kill, but just enough to stop her from spilling anything more embarrassing.

Agatha was quicker though, reaching out to tweak her right in the upper ribs, causing her to yelp and lose her balance.

Agatha caught her by the wrist, not fully letting her down but not letting her stand up.

“You have two options. You can face the consequences for trying to hurt me, or you can gracefully accept the fact that you are a ticklish little softie,” Agatha said, as the coven looked on in amusement.

“Option three, I bash your teeth in,” Rio said, as Agatha suddenly dropped her to the ground gently, pinning her arms to her sides with her knees.

“Ladies and the one gentleman, I will now demonstrate my next magic act. How to make Rio submit,” Agatha said, an evil smirk growing on her face.

Rio had too much pride and ego to beg but she really wanted to at this point.

“Any last words?”

“Fuck off Agatha.”

With that, Agatha started to dig into Rio’s sides making her flinch and scrunch her face up. There was no way she would let everyone know her secrets.

“Awww come on cinnamon roll, laugh for me,” Agatha teased, moving her hands up to her ribs.

A smile grew on Rio’s face, but she was desperate to not let her laughter out.

“Do I have to pull out my secret weapon?” Agatha asked.

Rio shook her head desperately, struggling to throw Agatha off of her.

“3…2…1,” Agatha counted down, before leaning down to blow a raspberry on her tummy.

“AGAHAHATHA YOHOU EHEHVIL BIHITCH,” Rio burst out laughing.

“See what I mean guys? Not scary at all. She loves raspberries,” Agatha commented, now giving her a raspberry on her neck.

What followed was a bunch of uncharacteristic begging and squealing, as Rio hated being embarrassed. She was usually the one embarrassing Agatha.

Agatha wormed her hands into her underarms, making Rio spill more giggles against her will.

“She’s not even fighting back,” Billy whispered to Alice.

“Because she loves it!” Agatha commented, reaching down to lightly scratch over her waist.

“ENOHOUGH PLEHEHEASE!” Rio finally begged.

“Did you just beg?!?” Agatha said, grinning wildly.

Rio thought for a moment, knowing that saying either yes or no would not be a good option for her. Rio just shook her head, still hysterical with laughter.

“Okay, well I didn’t want to have to play this card but you made me,” Agatha said, scooting down to sit on her shins.

“AGATHA NO!” Rio pleaded, trying to sit up.

“Billy come make yourself useful and hold her down so she can’t sit up,” Agatha commanded.

“If you do that, you’re next,” Rio threatened, as Billy looked unsure. Facing the wrath of the witches was never pleasant (maybe sometimes).

“Billy, look how easily I can overpower her. You’re fine under my protection,” Agatha assured him. With that, Billy decided to help Agatha, as Rio cursed him.

“Are you ready?” Agatha asked.

“I’m ready to get my revenge on you,” Rio said.

“That’s if I ever let you up,” Agatha teased, now using both hands to squeeze her thighs, making her erupt in laughter and swears all mixed in.

“NOHOHO STAHAHAHAP PLEHEHEASE!” Rio begged again.

“Does that tickle?” Agatha teased.

“YEHEHES NOHOW LEHEHET MEHEHE GOHOHO,” Rio cried.

“Hmm maybe I will if you admit you’re soft and not scary,” Agatha said while pondering.

Rio continued to laugh, refusing to say that.

“I figured,” Agatha said, now running her nails over Rio’s bare feet.

“OKAHAY IHIM SOFT NOHOHOT SCAHARY!” Rio shouted.

“Aaaand scene. Magic act is over,” Agatha said, giggling at Rio’s disheveled state.

“Whose dumb idea was it that we had to be barefoot on the road,” Rio complained.

“Maybe don’t be so ticklish,” Agatha suggested. With that, Rio suddenly jumped up, chasing Agatha down and tackling her to the ground. Rio may or may not have tickled Agatha until she cried and made her admit that she was more ticklish.
