Actually been meaning to ask this one for a while~

Do you have a metallic pigment you’re using to get this incredible luminescence on the gold parts of Osiris’ tattoos or is this some other sort of magic you’re working? I squint and stare every time and can’t figure it out but it’s utterly mesmerizing 💛

Sometimes I do use some golden foil or shiny/metallic paints to highlight the gold parts of Osiris' tattoos, but lately I've almost stopped doing so. Usually it scans as a shitty gray mess, so I have to edit/overpaint it digitally. That way the whole point of it is kinda lost, although the way it shines irl on paper is so extremely pretty ; ~ ;

Now I mostly just paint it by hand as any other metal stuff I draw - with inks, gouache and pastels (just a bit, to add this soft blurry shining effect). That was the case in the drawings above!

That is... a good question, because usually I can't decide so end up doing nothing alskdjfh Thus I don't really have a favorite WIP I think, but I have one very special project planned out and roughly thumbnailed... I'm too scared to actually start drawing it tho 💀 Also currently I'm working on that tiny thing about the flock, so that's probably what will be finished next. Hopefully, if I don't mess it up.

In general, I'm this 👌 close to starting organizing polls on what I should finish/draw next OTL

*slides in* Hi! First of all: I love your art forever and ever it is so beautiful and gorgeous to me. It's my favourite ever. Also, inspired by your recent posts of Fel carrying Osiris, I was thinking... How about drawing a pietà scene with them? Or maybe with Red and Fel, that would be more thematically correct for a pietà.

ALSO also: I remember quite a while ago, you posted drawing of our favourite Hunters as hunters from Bloodborne (and what amazing pictures they are!!! I drooled over them for hours I swear) and you wondered in the tags how Exos would even work in a setting like that? I forget your exact wording but whatever. I present to you: the concept of steampunk Exos! Steam powered, even. Bloodborne is seemingly based on Victorian England, so it could work! Possibly. Maybe. If they can do weird blood magic they can do steampunk Exos :)

Well that's an interesting idea, I'm writing it odwn! I sometimes think about doing homages of some artworks, but I always feel like... it's too much responsibility maybe?.. I feel like I have to make it look absolutely flawless and that's utterly impossible, so I'm scared to even try and mostly just rotate all the ideas in my head, lol. For example, with Red and Fel I was thinking about redrawing Repin's "Ivan the Terrible and His Son Ivan", since it's. well, pretty much exactly what happened akjsdhfkj (It's an extremely famous painting in Russia, portraying tsar Ivan the Terrible, who accidentally killed his own son in a fit of anger and got absolutely devastated once he realized what he's done. Tbh it's so well-fitting that I've always wondered if it was an intentional reference to that story from Bungie. Most likely no, but still! Very on point.)

There's one painting though, which I think I can actually make a homage of... Mostly because I wanted to draw something like that with Felwinter myself, so when I've seen that painting I was like whoa! That's it!! But I won't say which one it is, he-he... Hopefully I'll get it done soon

About the Exos - oh yes!!! That's possible! Actually, I've finally got my hands on "Lies of P" recently (and I freaking love that game already), and it has something similar going on there. At least, I think so; there's still some ~magic~ included from what I got so far. But I'm still at the beginning, so! Will see later! Very curious about how puppets work there in general and how there's such a... drastic gap in quality between P himself and everyone else.

(Please don't tell me anything about it though, I want to dig into everything myself)

Hey, this question isn't really about how you draw your art. I was rewatching some lore videos by My name is Byf as I like to refresh on the lore. At the end of one of his lore videos about Felwinter, he stated that he wanted to do a more cinematic story telling of his story and The Liar lore book. At the end he stated he needed to find an artist to draw the comic style art to tell the story. I think your art would be a phenomenal option for this. Just food for thought and I don't mean to stick my nose in things lol.

I've seen your art with both solar and void. I was wondering if you have any art with arc in it like your drawings of Felwinter and Osiris, where osiris is using solar and felwinter using void. Is there any with Timur or Shiro-4 using arc?

I did draw Shiro using Arc a few times, but it stayed as sketches only somewhere in my old sketchbooks, I think, since I can't find anything now... That's weird, I was so sure I had at least one scanned and posted! Well, I guess more reason to get to it again someday 😅

How tall would you say each character is, like warlocks and the hunters and Saint? (Timur, Osiris, Felwinter)(Cayde, Andal, Shiro,Tevis) like, do you have any head canons for that?

(Oh man, I remember I got similar question once, I wanted to do a proper lineup to answer that, but failed to do so in the end 😭)

I'm not sure about the exact height of each character, but I do have a rough idea of how they stand compared to each other! Also my general rule is that Felwinter is the tallest (with Big Red being the only exception taller than him) and Tevis is the shortest, so everyone else are somewhere in between and are measured by these two extremes. Also I must mention I'm not very consistent in terms of heights... Sometimes I just. fail to draw the proper height difference for various reasons OTL

For those you've mentioned, I'm pretty sure about the hunter pack - Shiro is the tallest among them, Cayde and Andal are roughly of the same height (but Cayde ofc always says he's taller because The Beautiful Horn), and Tevis is the shorty (sorry Tev, no offence). But in general their height difference isn't too dramatic, aside from Tevis, I think. For the others - well, as I said, Felwinter is the beanpole here. But Saint is also very tall, so I think he's maybe like only half a head shorter?.. Timur and Osiris both aren't short objectively speaking imo, but compared to these two marvels of Exo engineering of course they seem rather tiny 😅

I really want to do an all characters (those I frequently need, at least) lineup one day..........

What would you say is Felwinter's overall style? If it has a name/label to what he wears casually versus what he wears during Guardian duties, what would that be to you? Absolutely obsessed with your art, keep it coming!

Hmmm, I'm not sure what will be the proper name for it... I'm not exactly a fashion expert, I must admit OTL He seems like a pretty classy guy to me overall, always looking sharp, but in a minimalistic way. So maybe a mix of a classic and biker attire, since we absolutely need leather pants, jackets and coats here, as well as badass heavy boots?? Adksjfhksd

Again, I'm note sure how to call it, I'm pretty sure about what his wardrobe looks like and what he would and wouldn't wear, but naming the exact style... I know too little fashion theory for that 💀
