Late Christmas Present: The Shifter Timeline!

Hey, how was your holidays? Hopefully it's been good. I've been away from here for a while, and that's because I've been working on a Shifter's Timeline!

It covers the online history of the shifter community, from the past to around 2018. I would have gone further but the events from this decade will take a few more months of work at best. Citations should be properly formatted and up-to-date, but Wix started giving me trouble so I apologize if anything looks wonky. If you have sources feel free to add them on by the way, I always appreciate more info!

Have you ever wondered where AWTOK came from? Who Blaze was? Where all the different shifter groups coalesced? Why everything died out? You'll find the answers in here.

Honestly, it's 2025, it has been almost a decade. I'm coming across this now. Most of our members haven't spoken to Silver in years, nor do we hold onto any set of beliefs. No one in the pack has a single solidly set idea on how shifting works, what is acceptable in shifting, etc. I'm not even sure if I've spoken to Silver once, and I've been in the DISCORD SERVER since....2022 I believe? It's a discord server, not a cult, we don't claim any idea as truth, we don't associate with Silver, I barely know her so cannot even speak to what she may have done but I'm sorry for any harm caused and I'm sure my other members would share the sentiment. A lot of our pack members are new, and joined long past the effects of Silver, as well as myself. I'm hoping not to be barred from the rest of my community because of her misdeeds, or anyone else I know. (PSA, none of her old rules still apply, we function as individuals, the use of the term alpha in our server is for discord moderator. And again, probably well over half of the pack at this point doesn't know a thing about the past controversy, and has never spoken to Silver.) Thanks for anyone listening and I hope we can put this stuff behind us or work collectively to send out ripples of positivity and community instead :-) hope this reaches whoever is active!
