I’ll agree that I probably could have worded that better, and that Tenna was absolutely not supposed to be as intimidating as Carol, but my point was that they’re actions are very similar when you really think about it. But it’s silly for a big part of the fandom to be taking everything she does in the worst way possible when other characters have done similar or worse. Let’s not forget Tenna trapping the party in giant gacha balls and forcing them to play his game. Plus, Carol knight is just as much head cannon as her motivation being Dess’ disappearance.

And I’m sorry, but the fandom completely ignoring UtDr’s history of making you understand it’s antagonists as soon as the antagonist is a woman who dares to be a serious character seems pretty damn misogynistic if you ask me

The Undertale/Deltarune version of this argument is especially insane to me because to say this is to ignore a massive part of the metanarative, or at least make it feel watered down.

Kris and Frisk especially are not up to interpretation because both games make it so clear that they are both separate from the player. While it’s a bit more subtle in Undertale, almost all of Kris’ story revolves around their relationship with the player and saying “no their gender is up to interpretation because they’re a blank slate!” means you fundamentally don’t understand that.

Male character: I'm not attracted to women.

Fandom: Oh, he's gay.

Female character: I'm not attracted to men.

Fandom: Oh, she's a lesbian.

Any character: I'm not attracted to anybody.

Fandom: Well, we don't know that they're ace/aro/aroace. It's open for interpretation. They're not canonically ace/aro/aroace unless they specifically say they are.

Hmmmm. I wonder why we're so frustrated in fandom spaces. I wonder if there's a reason.

Random Pokémon Headcanons

Mostly about how Pokemon interact with everyday life because that’s just so interesting to me for some reason

Despite all the “haha dogfighting game” jokes, I imagine that the inherent danger Pokemon can pose, plus the heavy emphasis on battle as a sport have led to safety and anti-cruelty laws being super strict

Competitive & shiny breeding have been banned in a majority of regions bc of those laws

Competitive battle is still definitely a thing, but trainers focus on building skill naturally rather than selective breeding to get the “best Pokemon”

You also have to apply for a license to have a Ditto for breeding purposes, to reduce the amount of unethical breeding practices

And when I say illegal I don’t mean like you get a fine

If you get caught violating Pokemon anti-cruelty laws it’s seen as a major criminal offence, because of how much we see society valuing the wellbeing of the creatures in canon

Stuff like declawing, cutting horns or sanding down teeth is SUPER frowned upon unless it’s for medical purposes

Though I do like to think that horn covers for Pokemon like absol & houdoom are popular when the mons are younger to keep them from damaging their surroundings or their companions

I think most people have seen the OSHA Absol post, but lots of other workplaces are required to have certain Pokemon on site for safety

Like a kitchen having a Wartortle in case of fire, or a Togedemaru on construction sites to reduce electricity danger

While it’s not mandatory, Pokemon like Chansey are popular in small nurses stations (like in schools) because of their inherent healing abilities and calming nature

I love it when ppl come up with trans headcanons for my hero characters. because of all of the wordplay names, it means that several characters would have named themselves puns for the hell of it. Like yes katsuki absolutely made his name mean “winner” what else would he do?

It always gets me when people say that Penny is the only character in the valley who gets how weird it is to be given a severed foot and buddy I get where you’re coming from but they just do that. I walk into my coop and my rabbit is just hanging around next to it, no harm inflicted. He just hands me a trinket summoned from the void, expecting pets and fresh hay (both of which are given)

…I’m definitely more than a little interested in what that could mean. It could have something to do with the weird route, or maybe some other incredibly specific series of actions. Maybe this could be connected to the strange dialogue you get when copying saves? I’m mostly throwing ideas at the wall to see what sticks but I still think this is interesting.

I’m most likely not the first person to propose this idea, but I think the page with the numbers on the Sweepstakes website is representative of the chapters + the weird route

I’m of the belief that the weird route is going to be entirely dependent on Noelle, and us being able to manipulate her specifically through Kris. Based both on the general creepypasta vibe of the route and all the focus she got in the first Spamton Sweepstakes.

So, the numbers on this page could very well be representative of the weird route, and how present/relevant it is to the chapter. 1 and 3 are too small to see, which makes sense since there’s no weird route in chapter 1 and there’s no reason to believe that Noelle will be present in chapter 3 (at least in the dark world).

I have less evidence for chapter 4, and especially chapter 5, but it could be that we’re getting more definitive consequences for the events of chapter 3’s weird route? If chapter 3 is overnight, and chapter 4 is around church, it would make sense to get more information about Berdly sometime in chapter 4. Idk

The idea is based more on vibes than actual evidence but I think it could be something nonetheless
