EXACTLYYYY and she has soo much story potential too. istfg she should have replaced redtail or onestar in the battle with ashfur. it would have been so good thematically and also would Actually make sense? why was redtail there? what connection does he have with ashfur??????? or literally anyone there

ferncloud is such a tragic character to me, her mother was ripped apart by dogs, her father died in battle before she was a warrior, she had to watch her brother become more and more deranged, she watched two of her kits starve to death never knowing the suns warmth as all she'd ever known was ripped apart around her, one of her sons was killed trying so hard to find even a single piece of prey to feed anyone in the clan, the vast majority of her kits died before becoming a warrior.

all she wanted was for one, one entire litter to survive to warriorhood.

actually i don’t think its too unreasonable to come to the conclusion that nobody knew bruno was living in the walls of casita, other than dolores and eventually mirabel of course. casita is proven to have magical powers which include being able to shift furniture, decoration, and (more of an assumption on my end) form the magical doors that give the children their room/gift. would it be too much of a stretch to assume casita simply used magic to make it so bruno and his rats were hard to hear, despite the thickness of the walls? i don’t believe we know the full extent of its powers, but its not too hard to believe, at least for me, that this could possibly happen.

this is beautiful and should be said more i understand the sentiment of wanting to live for yourself and how much that can be worth, but if you just cant find yourself to want to live for yourself, live for others. you arent required to love yourself, and that's okay. it takes time to get back to that stage, and until then, you can use other things to lift yourself back up. you can stay down for as long as you want, so long as you pick yourself back up eventually. that can take months, that can take years. how ever long you need to pick yourself back up is worth the wait

As someone who has been living with severe suicidal ideation my entire life I wanna tell you all something, you don’t have to stay alive for yourself. People will say it’s a bad idea to live for external things because they’re temporary, and it’s true living for yourself is ideal but if you’re not to that point yet that’s ok too. 

I’ve lived for my dog for the past 4 years, before that I lived for my snakes, before that I lived for my cat. You can live for whatever needs you and whatever matters to you. Live for your best friend, live for your plants, live for your pets, live for your animal crossing town. Live for whatever keeps you alive and the day will come when you can live for yourself.
