it's not a problem, I completely understand. Can I request a Tseng x Ex!reader scenario where Tseng fake dated the reader ( to get information out of her ) then just left one day, and they see meet years later?

Hey there! First of all, thank you for resubmitting your request. It' an interesting scenario and I really enjoyed working on it. I apologize that it's quite short though but due to my hiatus, I'm still trying to get back on track with my writing. Anyway, I hope you like what I came up with. Last to know – Tseng x ex!gn!reader

Sometimes, you felt like the past kept haunting you. It could be trivialities that reminded you of him, like the smell of coffee and pancakes in the morning or the dark color of chocolate that made you think of his eyes that had once been so full of adoration whenever he had looked at you. On other days, you caught a glimpse of a familiar face on your way to work, leaving you wondering if it had been really him or if your mind was playing tricks on you again. Most of the time, you were mistaken and continued your day, pretending that the things that happened back then didn’t bother you anymore.

But when you bumped into him on this rainy Monday morning, pretending suddenly wasn’t so easy anymore. Just one look, and you felt like you had traveled back in time, back to the days in which you would have thrown yourself into his arms without hesitation, telling him how much you had missed him while he had been away. You could see the scene play in your mind, could almost feel how he hugged you back, holding you close to him while he teased you about being so clingy with that soft tone of voice you had never been able to resist.

Reality was different, though. A part of you wanted to turn around and storm off without apologizing for jostling against him while another part wished to give him a slap across his pretty face to remind him how much he hurt you with his stupid actions. But you couldn’t move.

All you could do was stare at the man who had broken your heart, the man who had pretended to love you, just for the sake of getting information out of you. Information you didn’t even have, and as soon as he had noticed that you were not a scrap of help, he had left you without giving a damn about your feelings. Now as ever, you cursed yourself for being so stupid, for falling for him so easily but it was even more embarrassing that he still seemed to have some sort of power over you.

Tseng stared back at you, his dark brown eyes as beautiful and mesmerizing as you remembered but there was no sign of recognition in his gaze. He looked at you like… like you were a complete stranger.

The realization was enough to snap you out of your trance-like state. You had spent so much time mending your broken heart, carefully putting yourself back together after he had disappeared without a single word in the middle of the night, leaving nothing but a letter explaining his actions (and providing a half-hearted apology), and now you had to find out that he didn’t even remember you.

It was foolish but that hurt. A lot.

“Pardon me,” Tseng finally said, the silence between the two of you growing more and more uncomfortable as the seconds passed. “I wasn’t paying attention.”

You couldn’t reply, or rather, you didn’t trust your ability to form a proper, pragmatic sentence right now. It seemed like your brain used all energy to stop you from yelling at him, from asking why he did what he did in the first place or why he didn’t even remember you. You wanted to know if it ever kept him awake at night that he had used you and that he had left you filled with self-doubt, wondering if you would ever be good enough for someone.

He frowned. “Are you alright? You’re not hurt, are you?”

Oh, if he only knew how hurt you were. But instead of telling him, you shook your head. “I’m fine,” you said, and then, as if you needed to reassure yourself, you repeated, “yeah. I’m fine.”

“Well, then- have a nice day. Goodbye.”

Goodbye, Tseng, you thought to yourself as you walked past him, your arm brushing against his ever so slightly.

Once again, the two of you went separate ways. Once again, you tried hard to fight back the tears that were welling up in your eyes. But this time, things were actually different. Because today you had finally understood that you didn’t need someone like him to be happy.

今月は本当に改めて星矢祭りですね。。

車田先生のNDの再開や単行本、ファイナルエディションも発売され、その加筆修正の量も目を見張るほどですね…。凄いです…；；

読んでいくと何かセリフのリズムに違和感…と思うとかなり変わっていたりなどして、その意図なんかを考えてしまいますね…。

そしてそして……今月号のチャンピオンRED久織ちまき先生のセインティア翔も相変わらずの美麗センターカラーで掲載！なのですが…その内容と、来月号のお知らせに「あぁ、もうなのか…遂になのか……」と、何だか何とも言えず胸が詰まってしまいまして……。。

来月クライマックスカラーと増量ページと言うことでしたので…どうか思い切り、心身とも良い状態で描き切って貰えたらなぁ…なんて偉そうにも思ってしまいました。

沢山悩んで、誠実に全力でずっと走り続けていた久織先生ですので…。

These furnishings in Circe's ancient castle turned into a chill invisibly, running up the back of the gray grass,

She whispered, "If only there was a light..."

As if someone was responding to her voice,

Not long after, she saw a retro lantern not far away,

The lantern emits a faint light, dispelling the cold and fear of the gray grass,

She also unexpectedly saw the ominous black fog surrounding Circe...
