doing some housekeeping of online things and realized i never made a post addressing the future of this blog. i don’t plan on resuming writing on here (at least not in the near future) but i won’t be deleting it or anything. i also rarely check my discord. so if you’d like to keep in contact, places i’m at are below. thank you for making my time in the league rpc so great!

i haven’t reblogged anything about the recent issues as one; i haven’t been active, two; it’s not my business, and three; there are a lot of account names being thrown around (many of which i do not know) and i don’t want to throw anyone under the bus arbitrarily. but it is clear that f.rosty has been showing unkind and rumour-y behaviour towards others (even if not maliciously intended,) now including some of my mutuals. i do always want to encourage supporting victims in matters like this.

The woman dipped her head slightly, a small sign of embarrassment. Many people found Lestara hard to understand, as her kind nature showed itself in strange ways. When the matron found a way she could help there was nothing anyone could to do stop her.

“It is quite alright,” Sona wrote. “She will find me when she is finished.” She nodded at the other’s words, letting out a breath she didn’t realize she was holding. “Thank you, that is very kind. I hope you enjoyed the performance.”

She did not quite know what to say to the man, but he seemed nice enough, and she had much practice conversing with Demacians after her concerts, at least.

The woman nodded her head in understanding at the man’s apology. Sona would not lie, it was irksome that so many people could not understand her sign language, but she never held it against them as long as they were respectful about the matter.

She pursed her lips together and rocked slightly on her heels, feeling quite awkward. Sona visibly relaxed as he held out the writing tools. The maven hesitated, gently setting her instrument on one of the seats nearby before taking the other’s offering.

“Thank you. I was looking for my mother but it seems she had some business to take care of,” she quickly wrote. Sona did not mind waiting for Lestara, the matron always had good reason for her actions.

Oh. Jayce wasn’t even the one affected, but that stung. What sort of mother would run out on her child’s performances? Sona had gotten the wrong box, clearly, but… he hadn’t even noticed anyone else leave a nearby box.

Then again, he’d mostly been paying attention to the music.

“Ah… jeez, sorry to hear that. I’m sure it was something important,” that was a platitude, Jayce. “If you want to wait here, I wouldn’t mind. I know Piltover’s… pretty busy. And new.”

Not that Demacia was a backwards nation. Well, not in that way. (The anti-magic sentiment was authoritarian at best.) But Piltover was probably busier and louder than the capitals of Demacia and Noxus, and he wouldn’t blame anyone for being overwhelmed when they visited. Hextech hadn’t really made its way out into the world at large just yet, and its magical power sources and properties meant that Demacia would steer clear of it.

It must be a barrage of new experiences to come here.
