I feel like every new change to the rules and balance with the new c-s modes makes experience here more and more miserable, at least for me. I really do love aras, but just don't think I like it here anymore...

If you literally search "mod payments" in the symp discord, you can see where fenokey said two of the chu-owls were mod payments for one of her mods and that mod's partner

The chu-owl customs were available kofi claims back in the start of the year. They cost 250 euro each, you could DM her to claim one if you wanted it, but I don't think that's still possible.

I'm also wondering where the MYO sales we were promised are

Fenokey said the proceeds would go to the mods since they have more of them now but there hasn't been another sale since she said that, although she has recently mentioned making chu-owl symps as mod payments so maybe that's where the mod owned symps are coming from (and a reason behind no recent MYO sales)

I thought the Chu-owl only went to friends.

And can't blame anyone, ga waves are rare as heck now, myo sales aren't often and it's mostly excused by obsidian myos you have to grind several months outside of accountbond one, so no hope in trading those for premades

I wonder what happened to the more frequent MYO sales fenoky promised.

So unless you one of few people Feno definetly rng chose in th raffle, you are will not be seeing offers

I think some people just prefer complex designs over simplistic ones, a whole preference thing which is valid for sure. I like a nice balance, but it's hard to own or make a simple design without it feeling "same-y" unfortunately. There's some people in Symps that just seem to make the same designs over and over again, especially mostly white ones, and only change their hair color or accessories and it just feels so boring and a waste to me. But then I think "as long as they're happy with it, then that's all that matters".

meh. I don't think Fenokey's designs are bad in any way, so I can't judge there. But I do agree that the pricing always confuses me haha A bit inconsistent, although I think she prices the Chuowl Symprites higher due to them having the Mini Wings trait? That's what I'm assuming anyway, but I could be totally wrong of course.

oh yeah, HELLBINISMs designs are super complex but a majority of their designs are for themself or customs people paid for if i remember right?

in my opinion a lot of the more popular artists in the symp community make complex designs too (Nyoom for one)

i think its due to the fear of missing out effect, you Finally get an myo and you think you have to make a grand design for it since you have no clue When you might get another

If you use the ARPG you can still only make 3 a year too. Understandable feeling to have.

i mean it seens like hellbin's symph designs are for himself or customs for other people so no offense but thats just a bit of a unrelated comparison to make imo you would have made more sense saying oko since most of her designs are sold. but if people like them + buy them then who cares? just don't draw them then? nobodies designs have to be to your taste in that respect

do people mean over-hyped instead of over-designed? that would make more sense to me since all I ever see are people seeking "feno designs" when there are a lot of amazing designs made by people other than just feno

I was saying only for point of design complexity. Their designs are much more complicated compared to Fenoky. Overhyped is more fitting. I like everyone’s designs so I am of poor judgment.

I have been in closed species long enough to know it. People in closed species willingly buy, seek and trade designs from worse people for fodder. They do not care. It is just a trading card game to them.
