the redesign for sym-1170 genuinely makes me want to throw up. can't even tell that it's a symprite anymore, but i can tell that the owner redesigned it and every symprite they get for the reason of trade flipping. i feel so bad for the original designers.

quite frankly I think people have forgotten that the kinks that lusthounds are allowing are actually pretty common. it's estimated that about 62 percent of 'women' have non con kinks, and incest is also a really common kink, and the evidence for that is honestly right there on any website you can find porn on.

I think it's ridiculous that people have forgotten that fiction is a safe space to explore your darker side, simply for the fact that its fiction. toyhouse allows everything that lusthounds is allowing, and lusthounds isn't allowing loli/shota/cub from the looks of it, which IS against toyhouse rules, so they're following toyhouses rules.

if you have an issue with ehat lusthounds is allowing, you also need to have an issue with toyhouse and it's rules itself.

noncon, incest, dubcon and all of that is all easily accessible in writing and books as well, and HIGHLY sought after, but I don't see that get the same censorship/hatred that users on toyhouse give to kink in artist adult spaces.

Lusthounds has maturelocked all their threads, they've clearly labeled their content and target audience with a disclaimer that states what they allow, and even have rules regarding how their kinks should be censored, which again fan be found in the disclaimer, AND on their community survey form, they ask for help regarding lore surrounding ace hounds in a primary sex centered community as well as transgender hounds in a species that can actively shape-shift.

I'd say they're doing a damn good job at making sure their community is safe and inclusive, and have made sure to warn people themselves about what their community allows. at this point, they're doing nothing wrong and are following all toyhouse rules. yall are just mad that they're allowing things you don't personally like.

you need to step up and take responsibility for curating your own space.

I just sent a similar ask to the Terralien vent blog, but I would highly recommend against spreading this document. OP just posted a bunch of screenshots of a very heavy private conversation between them and Gin/Shark that has a bunch of serious topics that Gin/Shark told them in confidence. It also exposes a lot of private stuff regarding their relationship with Coy that really should not be publicized.

There is nothing here that indicates that OP was uncomfortable or telling Gin/Shark to stop or that they should be telling all of this to a professional instead of a 16-year-old on the internet. Not to mention that Gin/Shark is only 19, so it’s not like they’re far apart in age. The “erm I’m a minor” card doesn’t quite work here in regards to what just looks like a conversation between friends.

None of it is even CS related so OP is just going around and spreading this out of malice, it seems.

Hey. This is salt. So I recently got informed that one of the mods of Angemos had a known blacklisted user design one their ocs for Angemos. Sugar and I think this was irresponsible and endangers the community. As Mir (cherubunz/losermeat) was blacklisted for TOS reasons and endangerment. There was more that Mir had did, but to detail all of that would be a post in itself. However, they were known for saying inappropriate comments to real minors and being uncomfortable for the community. (Angemos is vague on why Mir was blacklisted compared to Milqilin. Milqilin gives more information overall.)

The character has since been hidden or deleted. We aren't really sure. However, Angemo TOS states blacklisted users aren't allowed to make angemo designs. So what's the deal??

Don't witch hunt anyone, but this is very questionable.

tbh i don't even give a shit anymore. im drawing whatever tf i want. if you get mad at me for being inspired by your species, admiring your work, and drawing my own, i think that says a fucking LOT about you.

i think referencing somebody’s work is alright, as long as you give credit. I can’t say the same about species though. I personally do think that making one offs inspired by a species is perfectly fine, as long as you’re not trying to sell them off as the species or use it to your profit, but making a species based off another is a little far.

“the brain stops developing at 25” is a pseudoscientific myth and current data shows that the brain probably never stops developing in a person’s lifetime. the study the 25 figure comes from pretty much just stopped checking after 25.

also stop infantilizing 18-24 year olds. yes they’re obviously not as mature or wise as someone who’s in their 30s and beyond, but they’re not “practically kids”.

this is the same logic that leads some people to argue for gender affirming care bans for people under 25

honestly y’all we gotta stop with the guilt by association bullshit. stop writing bios for ocs that say “I don’t support the designer or their actions!!” because you’re just helping to encourage the mentality that this is an OK thing to assume in the first place. your characters are your characters before anything else, and if you find out the creator did something controversial, you do not have to get rid of them or stop using them. this is a choice you should make only if you actually want to, and not because you feel pressured by the shitty, performatively virtuous toyhouse community.

The May monthly event for Succubuns this year is… to celebrate Yves and Luca’s upcoming wedding. Shit you not.

In any other case, I would be happy for the owners of a species getting married and celebrating it via the species they own. But I found myself rolling my eyes upon the announcement. Not to mention them allowing you to purchase the limited event items with USD to fund their honeymoon.

If they weren’t some of the most intolerable, rudest, antisocial species owners out there, this event would be wholesome! But I do not want to celebrate people who could not care less about their community, treat users unfairly because of their inconsistent and biased enforcement of rules, and making it a chore to get a design approved because Yves has to nitpick and point things out that were approved previously on other designs. The excuse being “we make mistakes because we approve so many MYOs every day”. (Refusing to hire more mods to help with MYO approvals).

I slightly feel bad for even voicing this opinion, but this event comes off as narcissistic.
