Honestly, It's disturbing the amount of people that think 18+ CS that are animal based are inherently NSFW. quite frankly I think people have forgotten that the kinks that lusthounds are allowing are actually pretty common. it's estimated that about 62 percent of 'women' have non con kinks, and incest is also a really common kink, and the evidence for that is honestly right there on any website you can find porn on.

I think it's ridiculous that people have forgotten that fiction is a safe space to explore your darker side, simply for the fact that its fiction. toyhouse allows everything that lusthounds is allowing, and lusthounds isn't allowing loli/shota/cub from the looks of it, which IS against toyhouse rules, so they're following toyhouses rules.

if you have an issue with ehat lusthounds is allowing, you also need to have an issue with toyhouse and it's rules itself.

noncon, incest, dubcon and all of that is all easily accessible in writing and books as well, and HIGHLY sought after, but I don't see that get the same censorship/hatred that users on toyhouse give to kink in artist adult spaces.

Lusthounds has maturelocked all their threads, they've clearly labeled their content and target audience with a disclaimer that states what they allow, and even have rules regarding how their kinks should be censored, which again fan be found in the disclaimer, AND on their community survey form, they ask for help regarding lore surrounding ace hounds in a primary sex centered community as well as transgender hounds in a species that can actively shape-shift.

I'd say they're doing a damn good job at making sure their community is safe and inclusive, and have made sure to warn people themselves about what their community allows. at this point, they're doing nothing wrong and are following all toyhouse rules. yall are just mad that they're allowing things you don't personally like.

you need to step up and take responsibility for curating your own space.

I just sent a similar ask to the Terralien vent blog, but I would highly recommend against spreading this document. OP just posted a bunch of screenshots of a very heavy private conversation between them and Gin/Shark that has a bunch of serious topics that Gin/Shark told them in confidence. It also exposes a lot of private stuff regarding their relationship with Coy that really should not be publicized.

There is nothing here that indicates that OP was uncomfortable or telling Gin/Shark to stop or that they should be telling all of this to a professional instead of a 16-year-old on the internet. Not to mention that Gin/Shark is only 19, so it’s not like they’re far apart in age. The “erm I’m a minor” card doesn’t quite work here in regards to what just looks like a conversation between friends.

None of it is even CS related so OP is just going around and spreading this out of malice, it seems.

there isnt anything wrong with CS owners having friends and being public about it but its a different issue when said friends "win" raffles more than seems plausible and anyone who isnt a friend gets treated like shit

The one habit i picked up from the old meaner blog helped me detach from the cs community... just right click and save the images of designs i felt fomo for. I saved so many designs that i felt strongly for in the moment. It scratched the itch in my brain enough that i stopped feeling like i wanted my name on all those masterlist entries.

I just like looking at them, sorting them in my file folders like an isolated simulation of toyhouse. And when i stop getting dopamine from them i just delete them, no trade/sell hassle, no worrying about getting what i paid back bc lol i paid nothing to save a png.

I've seen people share their success stories about leaving CS/OC communities.

I thought I'd share mine.

I'll put it like this. I put $30k approximately into OCs and CS. Yep.

Out of all the stuff I bought?

I only kept approximately....$6k worth.

Let that sink in.

The rest of that money? I barely made anything back. I'm still selling a lot right now.

One thing that helped me was coming to terms with this:

"Just because I like the look of it doesn't mean I NEED to own it."

I can appreciate it by itself.

Another one that seems really fucking obvious.

You CANNOT buy yourself into a community where you feel included and appreciated. You CANNOT buy friendship.

After mainly leaving CS/OC, I saved enough money to get a new fucking car. That's right. I GOT A NEW CAR!!!!

I took out a car loan of $13k and I've already paid $1700 of it within the first month. I have another $4k locked into an account that's accumulating interest. I have $2k approximately in savings.

Just earlier tonight, I was feeling that same temptation, wanting that dopamine hit while looking at a $250 succubun that looks pretty. My friend helped take the edge off by reminding me how much I saved by not buying expensive pixels anymore. And I really did.

For those that are struggling and want to get out, feel free to DM. I'm NOT a therapist, but I can offer some advice or give you the little push if you need it. Again, I'm not your therapist, so like...don't expect me to act like one and everything please.

“the brain stops developing at 25” is a pseudoscientific myth and current data shows that the brain probably never stops developing in a person’s lifetime. the study the 25 figure comes from pretty much just stopped checking after 25.

also stop infantilizing 18-24 year olds. yes they’re obviously not as mature or wise as someone who’s in their 30s and beyond, but they’re not “practically kids”.
