In the dark of the professor’s office, a pale mask with a glowing mouth floats in a shadowed corner near the ceiling.

“It evades the cycle!” “Many things here do,” responds his companion, glowing eyes barely visible. The smaller being is crouched near the floor, the majority of their figure hidden by Wolf’s long, inky body.

“Let us rip them apart! Chase them out! Hunt the cowardly one!” “I’m afraid it will do no good, dear Wolf. There seems to be other powers at play here.” Pale hands peek out of the dark coils to stroke Wolf’s fur, comforting and gentle.

“The magic smells disgusting! Like rotten meat.” “Like an infection,” Lamb agrees. “Should we kill the poor host to put it out of it’s misery?” “The parasite has escaped us for so long... It would be more fun to chase.”

Forests are seemingly universal and provide a familiar hunting ground for the Kindred in this strange realm. Under the shadows of the trees, a person walks through the woods alone.

“Heartbeats! Do you hear them, little Lamb?” “I do, dear Wolf. They are alone in the dark. Do they wish to meet us so soon?”

Out of the dark steps a being with a coat so white it glows in the dim light. While the fur covering their body makes them more visible in the dark, it obscures all of their other features except their cloven hooves, hunched body, and the black mask covering their entire face. 

The figure steps out further onto the limb of the tree with inhuman grace, their eyes glowing with soulfire. Hovering next to them is a large white mask with similarly fiery eyes. The latter’s dark maw opens to reveal jagged teeth and emits a growling voice, a juxtaposition from their companion’s soft and gentle one.

“I want to hunt it! Chase it! Can I?” “Perhaps. Let us ask him.”

The “Lamb” with the dark mask, a wolf’s mask, turns their glowing eyes to the stranger and both faces tilt to the side in unison.

“Tell us. How do you wish to die?”

“New smells!” “Many new sights.” “There are so many here!” “Too many.”

They pick a direction and run from the crowd, quickly disappearing into the shadows of the tall buildings.

“This world... it isn’t familiar to us.” “A new hunting ground!” “Perhaps, my dear Wolf, but something is amiss...”

Dark smoke nudges the white figure with his muzzle.

“Whatever it is, it’s no match for us, little Lamb!” “Few things are.” Still, the smaller figure took comfort in his words and stroked a tattered ear above a white mask.

“Shall we go?” “Together?” “Always.”

They disappeared as one, into the dark.

Kindred || League of Legends

basically, the grim reaper split themself into two beings because they were lonely and created Kindred

they are two halves of a whole, can not and will not be separated

together they are “Kindred” but they refer to their individual halves as “Lamb” and “Wolf”

Lamb has a quiet, cold, and feminine voice. Wolf has a gruff, emotional, masculine voice

they are weirdo cryptids who talk amongst themselves. Lamb can often be heard humming to Wolf on a dark night

I don’t actually know that much about LoL but I fell in love with them and read everything I could about them so pls forgive me if I don’t know your characters, my castmates

they are creepy, yes, they’re supposed to be but I also think they’re adorable 

10/10 the last thing you get to see before you die is two floofs
