My favorite boy!!

There were many pictures that lined the light purple walls of the Synthwave-Smith household.

Pictures from Christmas; each picture in the frame showing the two kids slowly growing up each year.

Pictures from Birthdays; the child's smile wider and the candles on the cake showing a different number as they aged.

Admittedly, it was rather funny seeing a Rick with a Santa Hat or a Birthday Cone-Hat on.

One picture stuck out though. The family seemed to be on vacation off-planet somewhere. It was beautiful; the sun setting and creating a reflection off of the ocean. The sands were a light orange, shells both hidden and on the surface. Morty was in the center of the image; left arm risen and in his hand...his glasses. He was turned in such a way his face wasn't visible to the camera but you had to wonder -

What was under those glasses? And...why doesn't he ever take them off?

"Rick and I visited the Citadel today. And out of pure curiously, we decided to take a look into that "Morty Games" building."

"I always knew there was a divide between Ricks and Mortys but..geez."

"The Rick bathroom is all squeaky clean. But the Morty bathroom is all broken and destroyed, vandalism and everything."

"I don't think I've ever seen a power divide so clear before.."

"I hope eventually things get better for the Morty kind.."

"Rick and I came across this weird Rick today. He wasn't -- old looking, really. Infact he looked pretty young."

"I didn't recognize him. But...I've never seen Rick so shook up at the sight of another Rick before. Whoever he was, it's been enough to make my Rick hide away in the garage."

"I've knocked on the door and asked if he's okay; but he just shook it off.."

"I hope he'll be okay. I just -- wonder what the deal is with this different Rick."

"It isn't the worst thing ever. It isn't like he leaves me for dead or anything like that. Afterwards we sometimes goto different Earth dimensions. I think that's my favorite part. Maybe I'm just bias but they seen kind've boring compared to where I live."

"A hamster? That's a weird way to put it."

Ricks are like hamsters. He's never thought of it like that before. Synth lifted his hand, waving it a little.

"Only on special occasions."

I can’t believe I woke up this early and have nothing to do, how in the hell do you guys do this??

"5pm, seriously? I've lived a full day since then. If uh. Playing Duck Hunt and being dragged on an adventure is classed as living a full day."

Though unseen through his solid lenses, Synth squinted his eyes a little as he questioned his...question.

"That's..actually a great idea. My Rick LOVES his Tetris. It's like a second baby to him. But I don't think I can break his heart like that."

"Personally, I love waking up early."

Synth pushed his glasses further up his nose before he crossed his arms.

"Rick's always beating my high score in Donkey Kong. So every morning I wake up before him and use one of his weird...Rick devices to give myself a better score than him."

"....Don't tell him I said that. He thinks I'm crazy good at Donkey Kong."

"My Rick goes to the bar he works at alot. We kind've have a routine. He talks to the Ricks and I talk to the Mortys.."

Synth shrugged a little, hand dropping from the other's back.

"We started talking. He was pretty disinterested at first but now we're decent friends."

hiya ten! what are your hours like? maybe we can hang out sometime when youre not at work.

He sighs exasperatedly, giving a very empty glare to the Morty.

"They're all over the place. I hardly get breaks. It's not going to be convenient. Why would you want to hang out with me?"

"Hey, don't feel bad. You'll get there."

Synth offered the Morty a smile, hand gently rubbing his back as an act of comfort.

"Ten's just..a little bit of a stick in the mud. It took ME a little while to get through to him too. It'll happen eventually, I promise."

Synth, unlike the previously mentioned Morty, was actually - helpful! When he was finished, he gently held and guided the other's hand to take his phone back.

"I'm Synthwave Morty, by the way. But..just Synth is fine."

“C-Could someone please enable the screen reader on my phone so I can actually use it? The—The last Morty I asked started playing Rick Astley and ran away laughing.”

"Of course not, we have tons of drinks to choose from. But for some reason people really care about Coke vs Pepsi."

"I'm more keen to Dr Pepper, personally."

"My Rick doesn't know I have this account, so.."

"In his flask, instead of alcohol he has Pepsi. But he'll tell people it's Coke."

"Say what you want about my dimention but this Coke vs Pepsi war is no joke.."
