Sorry for not being all that active on here. We've been procrastinating because the project for the syskid terms ended up being a bit more involved than anticipated. We're gonna start posting some of them them. We'll probably spread it out somewhat to help keep it from feeling too overwhelming for ourselves

📣 — attention seeker ; a headmate who purposefully seeks out attention, typically in the form of dramatic displays of emotion, outbursts of emotions/behaviors, or excessive clinginess.
they may do this due to a headmate or systems needs not being met, to create a commotion during an abusive or otherwise unsafe situation, to force the system into social situations, or simply to create drama/problems or make friends.
[pt; "attention seeker" end pt ]

this term was made with people w/ personality disorders or emotion/mood-dysregulation disorders in mind- but any system can use it.

this term is one that i personally hold VERY dear to me, so i wanted to make it a flag. the description is paraphrased from @system-term-storage. here is the original post as well.

We allow everyone who finds our terms useful to use them!
We’ve been meaning to get back to the blog. There are terms we haven’t added to it yet
Most accounts that are coining system roles are anti Endo :-( Self promo in the reblogs so I can find accounts!!

John Galt
A system member who works to dismantle unhealthy behaviors and habits, usually by subtle means though this is not a requirement.
This can refer to basically anything, from unhealthy coping mechanisms to helping the system leave an unhealthy relationship.
The name is a reference to Ayn Rand’s book Atlas Shrugged, in which the character named John Galt promises to stop the motor of the world.

Focus
The sisasystem which is actively in front.
When two sisasystems are fronting simultaneously in a sort of constellation front, the focus is divided between the two.
When a particular sisasystem is in focus, it's usually easier for members of that sisasytem to front, and harder for other members not a part of that sisasystem.
We coined this term specifically in regards to our experience of having simultaneous fronters from both our main system and our sidesystem, as we felt like the front's 'focus' shifted between us, but it is not exclusive to systems with sidesystems

Since it was a tie we'll do the acknowledge and link option :)
Thanks for helping us figure out how to handle these terms. We weren't sure what to do when we discovered the similarities as we wanted to put all the terms we'd come up with on here, but didn't want to appear to be stealing terms or anything and we just didn't know the best way to go about handling the situation
We're in the process of trying to remember the various syskid terms we made (like, the ones in the doekid/swankid/catkid/etc. style). We've remembered some of them, so we're hoping to get them retyped up soon so we can start putting them on here.
We began making these terms after encountering the ones created by @/doelike, @/closedcaskets, and @/fabledlands. We later discovered that some of the terms we created are similar to ones made by @/systemtermz and @/syskid-terms-archive, which is entirely coincidental. Some use the same animal/name for the same trauma, so we're not sure if we should put those ones on here or not, because while we do describe things differently or include or exclude things from our terms, some of them can essentially be considered the same term.
So I guess this update is also a sort of public opinion poll!
*Or the definition, in the cases of terms that share a name but refer to different things
Thank you for helping me figure out how to handle this situation!

Refracting
When a headmate splits into several other headmates or fragments when in times of stress or trauma. When this stress or trauma is over, or has eased, then the refracted members return to a single headmate, which may be the same as they were before or as a new member entirely.

Memory Thief
A headmate who steals memories or the emotional impact of them from another headmate. These memories are often trauma memories that heavily affect the one they are stolen from. When these memories (or the emotional impact) is stolen, the memory thief takes it on for themself, blocking the one who was previously remembering or experiencing it to suddenly not remember the memory or to feel nothing when they think of that memory. This may be permanent or temporary.
This term may be considered related to both gatekeeper and memory holder.
This term is more just an affectionate nickname of sorts, though it could be considered a proper role, too

Shark
A headmate who is constantly working on completing tasks while in front, whether cleaning, organizing, doing laundry, scheduling appointments, etc. or finishing books, drawing, finishing or accepting requests to make craft or art projects, relaxing, etc.
Everything feels like a task to be done, but not in a boring sort or “I have to do this ugh” kind of way; rather, they see everything as an opportunity to accomplish something and feel energized and the only way to channel that energy is frame everything as a task to be done.
They may feel that it’s impossible to not be doing a task and may end up wearing themself out by trying to do too much all at once, which is why it’s necessary for them to frame relaxing and taking breaks as tasks.
This is not necessarily a role, though it can be.
(The name was chosen because sharks literally cannot stop moving because that’s how their gills work, so if they stopped moving for too long they would die.)

Inception
When a sisasystem(link) has its own sisasystem, for example a subsystem having its own subsystem. While it could be used to refer to differing system types (such as a sidesystem having a subsystem), it was meant to refer to the same type of system (a sidesystem having a sidesystem). This inception has no limit and as long as a sisasystem has a sisasystem, this term may be used.
It may also be used to refer to one of these incepted systems, such as our inception subsystem” or “our incepted subsystem” to refer to a subsystem within a subsystem.

Argumentor
A headmate who either enjoys or is easily front triggered by arguments or debates related to politics, religion, philosophy, basically anything; or, one who specifically fronts to handle these situations or to have these debates/arguments.
They may enjoy purposefully bringing these topics up to spark these debates, or may just enjoy partaking in them when they come up. They may also enjoy causing drama between other people who they know are on opposing sides (by bringing up something related to the topic in the hopes that the others will fight about it).
They may alternatively dislike these situations and debates and rather than fronting to partake in it, will front to keep everyone else from having to deal with it.

Profile Manager
A headmate who manages profiles for the system, whether on PluralKit, Simply Plural, Pinterest, Tumblr, wherever. This can be actual profiles (as on PK and SP), sideblogs (as on Tumblr), or whole accounts. They work to help keep everything organized and up to date and may also keep passwords readily accessible and updated.
