Being raised without stability really fucks with your head, you’re forever trying to figure out a person’s “pattern“ to see how you have to approach them, whether they’re in a good mood and it’s safe, or if they’re in a bad mood and you have to be careful or maybe avoid them altogether, just because those who raised you could never keep a consistent emotional reaction

To those who are reading this, it is alright that you didn’t get to learn what you should have been able to as a child and as a teen.

It is alright if you weren’t taught what healthy boundaries are.

It is alright if you weren’t taught what love was.

It is alright if your ability to understand your sexuality was ruined.

It is alright if you never learned to understand and read your emotions.

It is alright if you never learned to care for yourself.

It is alright if you never learned how to be a “normal” adult due to what was going on in your life and any abuse that may or may not have happened.

It is alright to “be behind”. It isn’t your fault and it is never too late to learn.

Hazel, Age 4, Dealt directly with trauma so very vulnerable

Preston, Age 3, LOVES DINOSAURS!!

Veronica, Age 14, Dealt with uncomfortable nsfw situations and trauma

Kiara, Age 17, Impulsive

Kai, Age 15, Very Angry and responsible for a lot of violent intrusive thoughts

Albert, Age 63, Persecutor

Introduction

Hi there!

I’ve recently become aware of my system and want to give my alters a space to tell me more about themselves as well as explore their own identities in a safe environment!

Please like this if you are also part of a system as I’d love to have people to talk to. This is all very new for me, along with my awareness of my childhood trauma. That was a terrifying realisation process but hey, a lot of things make sense now!
