so my mom vaguely knows i’m trans and queer, i’ve told her multiple times and at some point she just “forgot” apparently. she has called me they twice, and has never called me he. i know she might be trying, and i don’t really know how to remind her, one because anxiety, and two because she might guilt trip me with “well i’m trying my best” and idk what to do. she also just thinks that all physical transition will give you cancer (including just binders) so that’s great.

listen your situation fucking sucks(as someone who lived through it, i know) but i had a friend in the same situation and his mom was forced to go to therapy, basically, and that helped a lot.

the ‘non-men’ label bothers me so much when it comes to talking about nonbinary people being welcome in women’s spaces because like. on one hand, you have someone with green hair, a buzz cut, tits and a high voice, and on the other hand you have someone who has a beard, deep voice, born with a dick and doesn’t plan on doing anything with it, and both of these two people are just as nonbinary as the other one, but we both know which one you’re thinking about when you say ‘non-men’. at this point, non-men just means anyone who passed as female, whether they are or aren’t, and its a stupid label because it’s full of internal contradictions.

hullo i’m responding to the trans love post

i’m a trans femme butch lesbian and my partner is nb trans masc.

we met at work and became friends there before i caught feelings, especially when they put my necklace on for me. we hung out at a park and talked for hours and i just couldn’t stop staring. i transferred to a different cafe so we wouldn’t see each other at work, making space to date but he said he didn’t have room for us as friends, let alone anything else.

i waited. we left things open ended and a year later, minimal contact, but we hung out again. we started seriously dating and i just. it was so worth the wait. i love them like unbelievably

Idk who needs to b reminded of this but femme lesbians have complex relationships with gender also. There r femmes who use he/him, who use neopronouns, who r trans, who are intersex, etc. And it is especially complex for femmes who r not white. Femme lesbians r not “Woman but make it lesbian”.
