Bro is already writing the continuation fic, no wayyyy they have boards to do, someone stop themmm
Uhhh for those who haven't seen, the lore is that Marsh got rlly drunk and then spent the night sleeping on a convertible futon/bed with Suitcase. And Marsh is a very big fan of Cute Girls.
Marshmallow woke up the next day with the worst hangover of her life. Her head throbbed and her eyes were so dry they burned, and she felt like she was made of lead. She groaned and tried not to move, lest she have to add nausea to the list too. Suitcase was setting a glass of water on a table beside the bed that Marsh hadn't noticed last night, though when Marsh groaned she turned and smiled.
“Oh, good, you're awake! How’re you feeling? I brought you some water.”
“Uurgh…” Marsh managed, rolling onto her face and pushing herself up slightly. She narrowed her eyes against the sunlight that managed to break past the curtains in the room and rubbed her mouth with the back of her wrist. She took a deep breath. “Like I got hit by a truck,” she choked out. Suitcase gave a sympathetic smile, and nudged the water closer.
“Yeah, I figured. You kind of look it, too,” she said, hopping onto the bed to sit next to Marsh, who huffed and drank the water in a few large gulps. Her stomach twisted and she belatedly realized she hasn't eaten anything in several hours, and especially not since downing two and a half bottles of alcoholic soda, and she figured that probably wasn't her best decision. She fought down the stomach pains, and stretched as Suitcase watched, kicking her feet calmly. Marsh met her gaze and blushed, lowering her arms and rubbing her cheek.
“Uh-” she started gracefully, “thanks. For letting me stay with you. I mean, I know it's my house, but I would've left if you wanted me to-”
Suitcase shook her head, smiling. “It's alright! I wouldn't do that to you, Marshmallow. Besides, you looked like you were gonna fall over or puke on yourself or something, I couldn't just leave you alone all night.”
Marsh grimaced and she sank into herself shamefully. “Yeah, haha. Sorry about that…”
“It's fine, really. And it helps me sleep when I have someone else nearby anyway.” She paused, humming, and they sat in a comfortable silence for a moment. Suitcase turned back to Marsh, “Did you know you talk in your sleep sometimes?” She asked innocently, with an amused and playful smile. Unfortunately, Marshmallow just flushed harder, burying her face in her hands.
“No, I didn't.” She squeaked. Suitcase laughed light-heartedly.
“Aww, don't worry, it was cute! You talked about Apple mostly, I think you missed her. Hey, speaking of-”
Marsh waved her hands, stopping Suitcase. “That's enough, please. I think I'll die of embarrassment.”
Suitcase laughed again, making Marsh smile, and she nodded. “Right, right, sorry. But, actually, what I was going to say was-”
She was interrupted by a loud crash from the floor below and the muffled sound of overlapping voices arguing. Marsh let out a worried ‘eep-!’ and jumped off the bed, swaying. Suitcase followed to catch her. “Hey, careful!” She said as Marsh wrapped an arm around her. Now that Marsh was so close, she could notice some of her sugar coating had rubbed off onto Suitcase's straps, and she shook her head to clear her mind of the thought that she might have been cuddling Suitcase in her sleep. As if Marsh wasn't struggling enough, a loud bang of someone throwing open the door sounded. She gripped her head as her headache throbbed in protest, shutting her eyes tightly and grimacing. Strong arms pulled her into a tight hug, and she recognized the feeling almost immediately, sighing fondly even as Apple crushed her into paste.
Apple was rambling incoherently, face buried in Marsh’s shoulder, and she patted her girlfriend affectionately and tried to pull away from the hold. Apple was saying something about how badly she had missed Marsh, how she was so scared when she couldn't find her, and Marsh felt a small pang of guilt but it was overruled by the lingering thought that she usually was out of bed before Apple anyway, and that Apple was being a little bit more clingy than usual, an overdramatic and overacted kind of way that gave Marsh the sneaking suspicion that she was being not entirely sincere.
The train of thought broke when Apple stopped ranting to kiss Marsh profusely along her cheek and neck, burying herself even deeper into Marsh's fluff as Marsh abandoned her suspicions and giggled and batted at her. “Okay- Apple, please, I'm alright! I have to go make- mmph!” She was interrupted when Apple worked her way to her mouth, kissing hard. Apple always gave everything her best, and kissing was one of her favorite activities, so she gave that even more. Marsh sighed again, a mix of annoyed and fond, and resigned herself to let Apple go long enough that she'd be satisfied with whatever display she was trying to make. Eventually Apple pulled away, sticking her tongue out and screwing up her face. Marsh just harrumphed, shoving Apple playfully. “And that's what you get for kissing me before I could brush my teeth.”
To the side, Suitcase took a chance of the pause in affection and cleared her throat. Suddenly aware of her surroundings again, Marsh wiped her mouth with the heel of her hand and chuckled sheepishly. “Right- ahem-” she patted herself down, reshaping her form back to normal. Apple reached around her again and pulled Marsh tightly to her side. The overt display wasn't technically unusual, but Marsh still gave her a sideways glance before turning back to Suitcase. “Thanks for letting me stay, again. I'm sorry for intruding and for waking and running, but I really gotta go make breakfast for everyone and-”
“It's ok!” Apple interrupted, “We all heard you were feelin’ bad, so OJ an’ Paper took over breakfast. Mmm, and lunch. You were sleepy for a while.”
Marsh blinked then started to struggle against Apple, pulling away slightly to face her. “Lunch?! How long was I sleeping exactly?” She asked at Apple, who blinked back at her and shrugged. Suitcase kicked her feet into the floor.
“Yeah, a while,” she said, “Probably almost twelve or so hours, I guess? I was gonna tell you when you got up. Actually, I was gonna try to wake you up earlier, too, but OJ seemed to have it handled and Bow said you were cute when you were sleeping and we should leave you be, so I just let her take over which was maybe not my best idea ever actually…” she trailed off. There was another loud argument from the floor below and Marsh felt her eyebrow twitch.
“Great…” she said through a strained smile. She sighed, taking a deep breath and counting to calm herself. She may have had the worst headache ever and accidentally been starving, but she was still significantly better than last night, and she could survive this too. She exhaled and let the emotions leave her, letting rationality take their place. “Okay. It's fine. They haven't broken anything yet, have they?”
Suitcase chuckled and shook her head, though Apple paused and hummed thinking it over. She snapped her fingers, grabbing Marsh urgently. “They did! They smashed a bottle of soda on the wall!” She exclaimed.
“Oh, well that’s-” Marsh started, chuckling and embarrassed.
Apple held her tighter and her eyes narrowed angrily as she continued. “And they all say it wasn't them, but there's no one else around. I think we should kick them all out and make them sleep on the lawn, Marsh.”
Marsh blinked, then pulled back again slightly. “Apple!” She said, genuinely surprised, “what's gotten into you?”
Apple's eyes were still narrowed and she turned her vitriol to Suitcase briefly, who blinked back with a confused: “Uhhh-”. Apple pulled Marshmallow more towards herself again and stage-whispered to her.
“Let's not talk about that here.”
Marsh sighed, rubbing her temple. She had thought Apple had gotten over her possessive streak, but it looks like having so many sudden new roommates was taking a toll on both of them that Marsh hadn't accounted for. ‘Okay,’ she thought, ‘Big things first’. Priority One: Making sure her kitchen was still a kitchen. Priority Two: Talking some sense into Bow and OJ. Priority Three: Apple. And she was probably the easiest, so Marsh didn't feel that bad about holding off, for now.
“Whatever,” she said, “we'll talk about this later. Right now, let's go make sure our kitchen is still attached to the house, okay?”
Apple smiled widely, nodding. “Whatever you say, Marshie! Let's go!” She scooped Marsh up and spun towards the exit, only giving Suitcase enough time to awkwardly shout ‘see you!’ after them before the wind Apple had generated racing by shut the door behind them. Marsh held on, shutting her eyes tightly to fight the wave nausea that rose from being manhandled. She groaned. It was going to be a long day.

Marshple makeout fic WIP hope you guys. H. Hope you uh. [Runs away into a hole in the ground never to be seen again]
Fic Background Lore:
[Marsh and Apple get into a fight, Apple has reverted a bit to being overwhelmingly clingy due to jealousy cough and her serious unacknowledged abandonment issues & trauma cough and Marsh is already stressed and getting madder than usual. Apple like Marsh-naps her while she's doing dishes or smth idk I didn't think that far]
Marsh wiggled, struggling against Apple, who only seemed to tighten her grip.
“Marsh, wait- don't go!” Apple shouted into her ear. Marsh pushed Apple's arms as hard as she could, shaking with effort.
“Apple-!” Marsh said, grunting, “this is ridiculous, put me down!”
Apple buried her face into Marsh, hugging her tighter. Marsh choked and spluttered as Apple spoke into her fluff. “I can't!” She sobbed pathetically, “If I let go you'll- you'll-!” Her voice was cut off with a sudden grunt and her body shuddered, arms falling slack. Marsh scrambled out of her grasp, sitting just out of Apple's reach. She brushed herself off as Apple stared unblinkingly into the distance. There was a familiar pink glow in Apple's dark eyes and her lips moved slightly, silently arguing with her possessor. Marsh could see Apple's fingers twitch as she fought against Bow for control of her body and crossed her arms, sinking back into the cushions as she waited for them to get control of themselves. A few moments passed, silence filling the room as Apple argued under her breath imperceptibly. If Marsh strained enough, she could hear Bow's echoing replies, but she knew better than to eavesdrop and she didn't want to sit close enough to get suddenly grabbed again anyway. She worked to reshape herself back to normal as they argued, tapping her foot and chewing her lip, nervous tics she couldn't control even in her anger.
Suddenly, Apple took a gasping breath and sat forward. She blinked, shaking her head. Her hand twitched, but didn't move and she glared at it, opting to lean back against the couch like Marsh and glaring at the wall. Marsh watched Apple lick her teeth, sharper now thanks to Bow's possession, and pout, but she didn't seem to want to talk. Bow cleared their throat but Apple just turned away even more, though Bow moved her back with some struggle.
“Nooo!” Apple whined, Bow grumbling underneath her voice. “I don't want to-!”
“You two need to talk it out, come on!” Bow replied using Apple's voice, though with a slight echo. Marsh had been around a possessed Apple enough to be able to notice the difference now. She watched them fight each other.
Apple tried her best to keep her face turned away, screwing her eyes shut. “I'm not talking to her right now! She's being mean!”
Bow sighed and Marsh gasped, offended. She sat up straighter, hand on her chest. “You literally scooped me up and ran away from everyone! And how have I been mean? You're the one who-”
Bow cut her off, raising Apple's hand and holding a finger up to Marsh's mouth. “Not the time, Marsh!” She said. The arm shook then fell slack as Apple fought to regain control again. Bow exhaled sharply, frustrated, muttered ‘fine, gimme a sec’ then with a start she took control of Apple's body entirely. It fell back into the cushions before Bow sat up, crossing her arms. She looked up, exasperated. “There. Look, you want the problem to go away, right?”
After a moment, Apple nodded to herself. Bow hummed. “Mhm, that's what I thought. I'm gonna step out now. You gonna talk it out?” Apple glanced to the side and mumbled something under her breath. Bow sighed, and used Apple's hand to rub her shoulder reassuringly. “I know,” she said, voice soft, “but you gotta do it or else it'll never get solved, right?” Apple's expression became fearful for a moment, before she nodded again. “Good,” Bow said. She paused for a moment then turned to Marsh awkwardly, waving Apple's fingers at her sheepishly. “Oh and uh- Hi, Marsh.”
Marshmallow sighed, then smiled softly, raising her own hand. Bow smiled back, then flew out of Apple's body, reforming into her normal shape in the middle of the room. Marshmallow watched her, then turned back to Apple, who had been staring at her sadly, though she turned away and glared at the floor when their gazes met. Apple glanced up at Bow who cleared her throat impatiently and Apple blinked then sighed, the same apprehensive expression returning to her face as she turned back to Marsh.
“I-” she started, then swallowed, choking on her voice. Marsh anger dulled significantly at the pathetic display, replaced suddenly with worry. Apple fidgeted with her hands to avoid looking at Marsh. “I'm scared…” she admitted softly. She looked up at Marsh suddenly, unable to stop herself once she had gotten the first confession out. “I'm scared! Marsh, I'm really really scared. And I miss you! And we never hang out anymore, and everything is different now and all these people are here, and they're getting between us ‘cuz we're so busy now! I just want it all to go back to how it was, Marsh, I miss how it was when everything was good. You don't even kiss me in the hallway or hold my hand and we sleep together but you're always awake before me and in bed after I've already fallen asleep so it barely counts. You don't even sit at the window to watch me chop firewood anymore, I thought you loved doing that!”
Marsh suddenly blushed. “You knew about that?!”
“Just tell me what I did wrong so I can fix it already and we can go back to normal! Don't you like me anymore?” Her voice cracked, and she sniffled loudly, hiccuping as years flowed down her face. Marsh mentally kicked herself, then surged forward, caressing Apple's cheek and wiping her tears with her thumb. Unsure of what to really do, Marsh kissed Apple on her forehead, hard. Apple hiccuped again, but it was enough of a surprise that her tears slowed a bit. Marsh pulled back and gazed at Apple fondly, who couldn't help but blush.
“I'm sorry,” Marshmallow said, sincerely. Apple just gulped. “You're right. I haven't given you enough time, I've been so stupid-”
Apple nodded. “Yeah, and a real jerk!” she interrupted.
Marsh narrowed her eyes and Apple averted her gaze innocently. Marsh sighed, rubbing her neck. “Guess I deserved that. But Apple, if this has been bothering you, why didn't you tell me sooner?” It was Apple's turn to narrow her eyes.
“I tried! You keep avoiding me…”
Marsh tilted her head. “What? No, I don't!”
“M-hm! You spend all your time with Paintbrush and when you aren't with them you're with OJ and when you aren't with him, you're with Knife, who I thought you hated! And today, I wake up and you're missing, and I find out you ditched me in the middle of the night to go sleep with Suitcase? We don't even know her!” Apple started sniffling again and her voice was heavy, “I- I don't even care if you don't like me anymore, but I just want you to tell me!”
Marsh rushed to grab Apple's hands, shaking her head. “I do! Apple, I love you more than anyone in the whole world-” Bow interrupted to clear her throat but Marsh continued, “I didn't mean to avoid you! I've just been so busy with renovations and making up for lost time with others… I'm sorry I made you feel this way. I didn't mean to. I would never mean to do that to you, Apple. I want to make it up to you.” She raised her hand to Apple's cheek, turning her face so they could gaze at each other. “Can you tell me what'll make it better? Please?”
Apple sniffled again, then rubbed her face with her arm to dry her tears. After thoroughly rearranging herself, she glanced back at Marsh shyly. “Well…” she started. She bit her lip, glancing away then at Marsh again with wide, pleading eyes. Marsh got the sneaking suspicion something bad was coming. “You could kick everyone out.” Apple finished, blinking sweetly. Marsh snorted and rolled her eyes, squeezing Apple's hands playfully.
“Alright smart guy, nice try.” Apple giggled, kicking her feet slightly. Her face fell though as she thought over the question seriously. She looked away again, bashfully.
“I just…” she started, voice soft, “I just want to be how we used to. Spend more time together and hug and kiss and stuff.” She looked up at Marshmallow shyly, and Marsh felt her heart leap into her throat. She blushed profusely, swallowing to get control of herself, and smiled softly at Apple.
“Yeah,” she agreed, “I'd like that, too.”
Apple sat up straighter, a grin spreading slowly on her face. Spurred on by a sudden impulsive bravery, she grabbed Marsh's hand, kissing her palm loudly, as Marsh burst out laughing at the surprise. Apple worked her way down the heel of Marsh's hand, the inside of her wrist, all the way to her shoulder then her cheek as Marsh's blush deepened. “Apple!” She said, “I didn't think you meant right- mmph!” She was interrupted by Apple finally making her way to Marsh's mouth. She held Marsh tightly, tight enough to squish her significantly, Marsh figured, but she closed her eyes blissfully anyway. Her heart fluttered and her stomach did flips and she pushed against Apple just as much as Apple did to her. Something in her clicked, and the stress of the months spent drifting away from each other mended and she gripped Apple tighter, throwing her hands around Apple as far as she could reach to try to get even closer somehow. God, how could she have ever let it get so bad?
Apple pulled away suddenly with a gasp, though she didn't go far. Marshmallow licked her lips and tasted the leftover waxy feeling of Apple's skin and sighed.
“I love you,” she said softly. Apple's breath stuttered above Marsh and she smiled down at her. Never the best at words, Apple dove back down to kiss Marsh again, desperate and clingy, but Marsh could always read between the lines and the not-so-hidden meaning sent her head spinning. She broke apart for air then dove back just as Marsh gasped, repeating once, twice, and now Marsh's head spun for two reasons. There were worse ways to die, and Marsh had experienced most of them, so she wasn't as worried as she maybe should have been. Apple's hands held Marsh tightly, just as Marsh held Apple, and they kept clumsily knocking their teeth together in an effort to get even closer. Apple accidentally bit her lip and Marsh squeaked, and Apple suddenly moved back enough that they could breathe again.
“Sorry-!” Apple said in a rush of breath, panting. Marsh wiped her mouth on her wrist, and attempt to hide her giddy, shy smile.
“It's ok, Apple, you just surprised me. Bow is rubbing off on you, huh?”
At the mention of her name, Bow squeaked, too. Marsh's blush grew when she realized Bow had been in the room the whole time, watching the whole thing, and she covered her cheeks with her hands, still laying helplessly on her back below Apple. Bow's tail was lashing through the air erratically, kicking up static energy. She flew over, landing on Apple, holding her hands out and making her eyes wide and pleading.
“You know, I missed you too, Marshie, why don't you let me have a turn?” Her voice dripped with fake innocence and a flirtatious undertone that had Marshmallow at her wits end. Deciding that was as much as she could handle, Marshmallow rolled off the couch and onto her feet shakily. She was still blushing profusely but she raced to the door anyway.
“Oh, look at the time, I better go make dinner now!” She said, struggling with the doorknob. “See ya, girls!” She pulled the door open and meant to make a quick getaway, but something stopped it when she went to slam the door behind her. Apple had followed her and was smiling at her innocently.
“I'll help!” She said, seemingly completely recovered from the impromptu make out session that still had Marshmallow’s knees weak. She grabbed Marsh's hand and looked into her eyes, and Marsh valiantly fought the urge to fall over. “I missed cooking together.” She said simply. Marsh swallowed and nodded.
“Y-yeah! Okay.” She blinked to clear her head, then rubbed her thumb over Apple's knuckles. “I missed cooking with you, too.”
Bow flew over, laying on Apple's head and breaking their loving gaze by throwing her hands over Apple's eyes ‘accidentally’. “Me too, I wanna come! I miss my Marshie time.”
Marshmallow rolled her eyes. “Okay, okay, come on.” She held Apple's hand tightly, and tugged her girlfriends out of the room.

(short marshplebow fic set just a bit after ep 11)
Bow was wandering through the mansion. It was quiet, and the feeling left behind was eerie. Not that Bow usually minded, but she had just gotten used to the new rhythm of mansion living with Marshmallow and Apple that it felt unusual and a bit discomforting. A shiver worked up her spine, making her tail snap in the air wildly, and she grumbled, darting through the house faster. There was a dull thunking echoing in through the thin mansion walls- Apple outside chopping firewood for the encroaching fall and winter months- and Bow couldn’t go outside far enough to be with her, but maybe if she found Marshmallow she could shake the awful dead loneliness making her head spin. Dough didn’t count, the air was so still all Bow really wanted was the comfort of someone breathing beside her. She phased in and out of walls, passing all of Marshmallow’s typical haunts: TV Room- nope- Bedroom- no- Kitchen- nuh-uh- Library- no!- Attic? It was too cold up there for Marsh, but Bow was starting to get desperate. She was about to tug her ribbons out of her head when she flew through a hallway and breezed straight past Marsh. She caught the sight of white in her peripheral and stopped in the air, skidding clear through the wall before backtracking, floating behind Marsh.
Bow released a sigh, relief and annoyance. What was Marsh doing here? She had pulled up a chair and was staring out the window. It was a big bluish-green armchair (they had all debated about what color it actually was, but Marsh didn’t budge until everyone eventually got bored and they had to find a compromise) that Marsh had typically reserved for reading. Steam rose from behind it, from a cup of something Marsh was drinking. Bow missed her senses. She shook her head and moved on. Marsh didn’t seem to have a book, and Bow couldn’t hear pages turning or paper fluttering from Marsh fidgeting with the corner, so she clearly wasn’t reading. Then what? Bow cleared her throat, but Marsh didn’t look away. Bow sighed, and curiously drifted closer. Another thunk of Apple chopping sounded, and at her new proximity Bow could hear Marsh inhale softly. Now thoroughly confused, she draped herself languidly across the back of the chair. Her tail waved lazily and she glanced up to look out the window. Marsh had a perfect view of Apple chopping wood. The sun shined against her smooth red skin, and she glistened in the light, sweating softly. Bow watched as she wrestled the axe out of a stump easily, tossing aside a piece of wood and replacing it with a smaller log. Apple took a deep inhale, stepped back a bit, and rose the axe high above her head. Marshmallow and Bow watched as her arms flexed and as the axe cut through the air, slicing the log in half easily. Apple huffed a breath as Marsh exhaled softly and Bow smirked. So that’s what she had been doing. She reached down, swirling her finger on, and slightly through, the top of Marshmallow’s head. Marshmallow jumped, shivering at the sudden cold and turned on Bow. She was blushing, embarrassed at having been caught, and Bow fought back against a laugh when Marshmallow fumbled her mug in surprise. She placed it on the window sill, then turned back to her girlfriend.
“Bow!” Marsh exclaimed in surprise.
“Hey, Marsh. Whatcha doing?” She replied, resting her head in her hands, elbows propped against, and again slightly phasing through, the couch cushions. “Nice view?” she added. Marsh blushed again, then turned away from Bow.
“That’s none of your business!” She crossed her arms.
“She’s waving,” Bow said. Marsh squeaked in surprise, then ducked behind the window curtain. Bow laughed, falling off the back of the chair and out of Marshmallow’s view. She flew back through, head sticking out the front and tail through the back, and wiped her eyes. “Aw, I got you good! You’re so cute and gullible, did you know that?”
Marsh blushed again, huffing angrily and waving her hand through Bow’s face. Bow stuck her tongue out and flew backwards out of the chair, popping up to rest her head on the armrest and Marshmallow got comfortable again.
“Sooo… you’ve just been watching her the whole time?” Bow asked, rolling her eyes innocently.
Marsh huffed, shoving Bow though her hand went straight through. “Leave me alone!” She said. Bow laughed again, then waved her arms.
“I’m not makin’ fun, I swear!” She said. Marshmallow side-eyed her suspiciously, then turned back to the window. Bow turned back too and they both watched as Apple sliced a log in half then threw it into a small pile she had been making. She wiped sweat off her forehead, and exhaled roughly. Something in Bow twitched, her tail kicking up behind her. Huh. She had never noticed how… mature Apple looked. When she spoke, Bow mostly still tuned it out as nonsense, but now, watching as she worked, she looked… well, she looked like her age, in a way Bow had never noticed. Determined and focused… Bow’s mouth opened slightly and she licked her lip. That shade of red really was- Marshmallow sighed softly and Bow blinked, broken out of her spiraling thoughts. She swallowed, and nestled in to the armrest’s cushion further, focused now entirely on the way Apple’s biceps twitched as she lifted the axe again, brows tight and focused, puffing her cheeks out with effort as she swung the tool down. It landed with a hard thunk that had Bow flinch slightly. Marsh was so right… she thought distantly. Apple wrenched it back out of the log, turning it over and leaning heavily on the handle. She wiped her brow again and Bow and Marshmallow swooned in unison.
Bow decided that maybe having Apple around wasn’t as bad as she thought.
