My brain is consumed by the way that Elrond is Elwing/Doriath's heir and Elros is Earendil/Gondolin's heir. How Elrond chose the fate of the Elves like Elwing before him, while Elros chose mortality, the path Earendil's heart actually favored. How Elrond's name means 'star-dome', named so in Elwing's dim memory of Doriath, and he builds what is essentially a refugee community like the Havens of Sirion. Elros's name, on the other hand, means 'star-foam' and his path ultimately led him to the Sea, as did his father's(and Earendil's father before him), following Gil-Estel to the place that would become Numenor.

I always love to think that Elrond picked up Maglors personality while Elros picked up Maedhros' personality. I mean think, like Maglor, Elrond is a poet who is peaceful, logical, wise, quiet, smart and he's way more chill. He tries to avoid fights and arguments at all times but if one arises he takes part in it. Elrond doesn't usually go for the big prize bc he's content with what he has. I feel like Elrond is very level headed and just calm (so calm sometimes it can come off as cold... Like Maglor) But Elros Is like Maedhros. Ambitious, much louder and more fiery, a bit of a rule breaker, he's also the main cause for confrontation. Also the whole "choosing to be mortal" and "chopping off my hair" was probably partially inspired by Mae. After bus torment from thangorodrim Maedhros wasn't exactly the epitome of an elf... He had scars everywhere he was missing a hand and he cut his hair short (I think) he probably resembled a human a bit. I like to think Elros partially did it to honor him. Especially the whole cutting hair thing. In simpler words, Maedhros is a fighter, Elros is a fighter, Maglor is a poet, Elrond is a poet. Maedhros is chaotic neutral, Elros is chaotic good, Maglor is lawful neutral, Elrond is lawful good

Maglor SO listens to Lana Del Rey. His favorite album would definitely be Ultraviolence or ocean blvd.

I was thinking the other day about how unhinged the Fëanorians are and then started to think how unhinged they'd be drunk and how they would all act and I think it would go a little something like this (+ how many shots it would take to get them drunk)

Fëanor: probably like 10 shots. He'd be absolutely filled with rage. He's that one crazy guy yelling and hurling insults at everyone (except Nerdanel and Curufin), probably would start breaking things, he brings back arguments that happened years ago and continues arguing over them. Probably goes to Fingolfins house with a sword in an attempt to kill him but Fingolfin is used to this and ignores him

Nerdanel: Too many shots to count. Nerdanel has an unexpected high tolerance to alcoholic beverages that nobody knows of. She's that person that you could never tell is drunk because even when drunk she stays calm-ish. She'd still try her best to take care of everybody else. The only indication of her being drunk would be her slurred words and she'd laugh a little more than usual

Maedhros: probably like 100+ shots. He probably drinks a lot. Honestly it depends what Maedhros we're talking about. I don't think post Thangorodrim Maedhros would get drunk because he's too serious and busy for that but If he were to get tipsy, he would be the type of guy that gets lost in his own thoughts. He sits in his room drinking bottle after bottle just thinking and doesn't accept help from anyone (except maybe Fingon.) After a couple of bottles he'd probably do something insane and unhinged. But if this is valinor maedhros he'd be so fun. He'd be cracking jokes probably watching all his other brothers get drunk and just dying from laughter at all the stupid things they do, just watching from the side throwing in a joke here and there

Maglor: 10 shots. He cries. Cries about his trainwreck life. Cries for hours and hours while blasting "My heart will go on" and then after crying for like 4 hours he just starts playing his harp while sniffling. Probably writes a new poem/song about how much he hates life except literally nothing rhymes because he's drunk but the melody is still fire.

Celegorm: 5 shots. He would try to flirt with 10 numerous girls, but after getting yelled at and getting called a creep by each girl, he'd probably be dancing untop of tables with no shirt (probably yodeling too.) He'd do crazy things, like taking a random bite out of a bar of soap and then putting it in the fridge for Nerdanel to clean up. Just absolutely insane and unhinged. Maedhros would probably be cheering him on though

Caranthir: 20 shots. Honestly nobody really knows what Caranthir does when he's wasted. He probably hides in his room for hours, screaming at maglor to shut up but then plays depressing emo rock music full blast while screaming. Probably punches a hole in the wall.

Curufin: 15 shots. He's a lot like his father feanor but more calm. He'd be in the middle of destroying things until he sees Celegorm dancing and probably starts laughing at him and starts to cheer him on. Then he'd come up with some idea to rob a bank with Celegorm.

Ambarussa: 3 shots. We all know these little bastards would be trolling everyone. They'd be drunk but they'd be pranking everyone. They'd put soap or slime on the table so Celegorm could trip and they'd just watch everyone fall for their pranks while laughing hysterically off to the side.

Bonus

Celebrimbor: 30 shots. He'd go out in the streets befriending everyone. Nobody knows how he does it but he does. He befriends everybody on the block and then takes them out to a club and wakes up the next morning confused as to why he's sleeping on the side walk with 6 strangers with no money in his bank account.

By the end of the night they would have committed arson (probably at Fingolfins house) 5 war crimes, and Celegorm and Curufin would probably have gotten arrested.

In the hobbit movies, when Galadriel, Saruman, and Elrond come to save Gandalf, we see Elrond fighting with one hand. I wonder who taught him how to fight with one hand.... *cough cough* Maedhros

Fingon is that type of guy who has the biggest ego known to mankind. You can just never pop it. He's always so self assured and so cocky and smug. He's also the type of guy who says annoying things just to rile you up because he finds it funny. He always would start petty sibling fights with people like Maedhros or Finrod simply because he finds it funny. But the one person who manages to get under his skin is his little brother Turgon. Turgon is the one person that can break fingons massive ego only because Turgon is like super tall and we all know turgon would so use it to his advantage
