Saving water

"Hi, how are you my twitch's viewers? Here is your favourite and talented scientist, Alexander the Great! Today, October twentieth of the year two thousand twenty three, I'm going to show you my newest invention, a time machine! not a simple robot, nor a common teleportation portal, the first real time machine is just in front of your eyes!", these were the words that started Alexander's journey in a quest of saving the future, journey he doesn't even know about yet, but will mark his life forever. "For my time machine's first use, I will travel twenty-seven years through the past, to the already past year of 1997. Unfortunately for you, my dear audience, I can't bring any cameras or digital devices, otherwise my time machine would explode, but don't worry, I will bring with me some souvenirs for you, maybe I could even bring someone from the past with me and interview him/her just for you". Alexander was about to cross the portal, but as the clumsy person he is, he left a slice of pizza in some of the machine's cables the last night, and because of this the time machine, instead of sending him to the past as its creator wanted, the machine sent him twenty seven years to the future, not the past, which means our protagonist will now be in the year two thousand fifty. Once our protagonist got out of the portal, he fastly noticed that it wasn't the future, because he had never read nor heard anything about the historical event he just ran into. What our protagonist saw was a war, a massacre, a completely chaos. At his left there was people killing others for a bottle of water, at his right a couple passing out because they were thirsting, with skin so thin you could look their bones, and at his front a newspaper announcing the twelvth world war, the cause? The worldwide lack of water. The same newspaper redacted how the sume of different factors through the past ended in this apocalyptic fate, and fastly I understood that I had to do something about it. I returned to my present, turned off my stream apologazing my vierws for doing it so suddenly, calmed down for a bit, and started making up a plan for saving the water and the future. I tried several times changing the past, from small aspects like recolecting unused water from past rains, to more drastic decisions like trying to avoid the discovery of some sources of energy's discoveries like oil. Nothing seemed to work, but I couldn't give up, so I kept on spending several months planning how to save that disastrous future, and now I'm ready for saving my grandchildren's future, I'm ready for this long oddissey for a better tomorrow!

How did I saved water yesterday?

Yesterday I was with my aunt in her house, and we were watching movies as usual, but suddenly we heard how some water started dripping from the faucet of the kitchen, so we went to close the faucet, but then we noticed some water were dripping from below. Some time later my uncle arrived and among all of us fixed the pipelines and avoid a massive waste of water
