So this weekend I watch two of my favorite shows, The Quad and Being Mary Jane.  They have some of the most professional looks.

On Friday, I had an interview.  So I though about everyone and decided to share my look.  I believe that it is important to look your best especially on interview day. Put your best face forward lol.

Don’t you just want to hire Mary Jane, and Dr. Eva Fletcher I know I do.  The makeup, and the hair is on point always, always flawless. Here is the look that I wore interview day:

On interview day, wear lipstick.  I chose to wear a nude because I was going for an all natural, professional look.  Choose eye shadows and natural shades with a little bit of shimmer, and no glitter please lol not on interview day.  A little blush leaves your face with a healthy look…I did not contour today, I wanted a natural soft look.

Here are my steps that I took to achieve this look:

You know on interview day, sometimes we wake up with bags lol.  Maybe the jitters, I don’t know, either way I woke up with bags and did something about it.  I used coffee bean caffeine eye cream from 100 % Pure. It immediately depuffs those bags, brightens circles, and lessens eye wrinkles.

Next step I used the purple corrector by izMe New York to conceal scars from acne. Cover blemishes and even out skin tone with foundation.  I wanted to keep a natural look, so I went with a great tinted foundation instead.  I am still wearing Pur tinted moisturizer which provides excellent coverage without the weight of foundation.

Finally, I applied eye shadow.  I used Huda Rose Gold Edition, and chose Suede, Cocoa, and Bossy to achieve the eye.  Line your lid with your favorite liner, and lash those lids lol.  Try this look out, I will leave the products for the look below.  Continue to leave your comments, and feedback I love to hear from you!

I wanted to take a moment to show you my current morning skincare routine that is working well for my cystic acne skin.  I have struggled for many years with cystic acne and never have really found anything that has worked.  And although I still have some scars the acne flares have subsided, so I am pretty stoked that I have found a routine that works. I begin my mornings with a Glycolic cleanser, there are many benefits for use.

Benefits of Glycolic Cleanser:

It helps in regeneration of new epidermal layer

Organic in nature

It is an effective exfoliate and it removes unwanted dead skin

It is a great toner and it minimizes open pores kind of a two in one

Gycolic Acid wash helps to fade out wrinkles, fine lines and scars which is why I really needed this mainly for the scars.

It reduces acne and cysts covering the face and the nape of the neck

Precautions

Who is Glycolic cleansers not good for?  They are not good for under the eye, around the nose and open lesions.  It is also not good for individuals with eczema skin disorders.  Always apply sunscreen when using the product as a precaution because it makes the skin photo sensitive.

I use a anti age-defying skin clearing serum which is great for flawless youthful skin, it has exceptional ingredients formulated to help achieve healthy skin.  I applied the drops in the picture and rub the serum in and let dry before applying the next product.  Check here for more additional benefits of vitamin c skincare.  After using Vitamin C drops, I use a Vitamin C moisturizer. After applying moisturizer, I do take time to use a tinted moisturizer to conceal and neutralize my dark spots.  There are many, many advantages of using a tinted moisturizer as instead of using a heavy foundation.  It leaves your skin glowy without the weight of foundation, seemingly creating a flawless skin that’s what we all want right!

Good Morning Hunty! And I am back to give you more beautiful natural looks.  So I’m feeling inspired by the Oscars, yup I am still on it lol.  I get so excited when I see all of the makeup, and the fashion trends.  I gotta admit, there is nothing better than being able to create that look all by myself, and I want to teach you too.  So mood lol:

Feeling some type of way I am in the mood to glow, and get pretty.  Don’t you want to get pretty with me lol?  So here is what I used for my eye:

This look was pretty simple, I use two colors from this palette from Pur.  This palette is called Love Your Selfie 2.  The colors used here are photogenic, and composition.

 First apply composition at the brow bone and blend up.

Then apply photogenic to the lid and swipe up.

 Blend well and you have the eye.

Take time to apply a liner it always makes a difference.  In this look, I used 100% pure black tea which is really nice.  The brush is pretty narrow which allows for less mistakes, and the color is rich. Apply your Foundation, here I used a tinted moisturizer from PUR it’s perfect.

I also used at setting powder from PUR to give my face a matte look.

Now it’s time to bake lol, here I applied Sacha baking powder to set my face further and it does it without leaving an ashy finish.
