How do you save something that's already begun to fall apart?

Staying independent, 

raising 100k for coats for Chicago kids, 

hosting open mic events for Chicago teenagers, 

giving the music away for free and still making a substantial life off tours and merch. 

When we say “independent” that just means he doesn’t have a label telling him what tracks he can and cannot put out. Like, he just has total creative freedom.

my best friend is trying to raise awareness about the rape going on at her school. She was a victim and the school is trying to sweep it under the rug by dismissing her case and expel her for speaking up and informing people of what's going on. Nobody should have to go through this and it's wrong! I just found out I might get expelled for broadcasting my rape story against my schools wishes

I’m in tears. At this point it’s like what kind of institution is The University Of South Alabama to even consider expelling me before my rapist!? My parents just told me they’re having a meeting about it today. Please help me fight this.

it’s one thing when it happens to someone close to you but to know that there is more than one victim of such an act at a college is disturbing but it makes it worse that NOBODY IS DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT! My rapist:

My rapist was found not responsible of raping me by my school. Even though he told the disciplinary hearing that he heard me say he was hurting me but that wasn’t a clear no to stop. Then the text messages used as evidence stated I had been drinking, so my rapist was aware I was not in the right state of mind to even give consent. Both of those facts prove rape happened. But my school wouldn’t over turn the decision and now I caught wind he might be filing a complaint against me for harassment because I shared the letter I wrote him and my account of what happened on my site Lmbanks.weebly.com . My school is knowingly letting rapists walk around this campus which is potentially unsafe for the rest of the female population.

it’s ok if you can’t afford to visit each other as often as you’d like

it’s ok if you have other priorities, like school or work, and you can’t afford to sacrifice everything to be with your partner 

Love is not measured by the amount of times you call each other, or the stuff you send each other, or the amount of plane tickets you buy to see each other. At the end of the day, what matters is the happiness you bring to each other
