Is known to be the bastard son of Lady Ysabel de Vairemont and the executed heretic Declan Mercer, leaving him with one foot in high society and one foot in the Brume. Though, neither world will truly claim him.

Is thought to be the brains behind the running of House Vairemont. While is sister is the formal regent until his nephew reaches his majority, most believe Sebastian to be pulling the strings. A nobleman in all but name.

Lives for music. He plays the violin, piano, and the cello, on top of singing quite well.

Composes music in secret, sharing it only with those he loves. If you receive a piece he has written for you, it is safe to assume he's fallen for you, even if he has yet to say those words.

Can be quite dramatic. He is prone to throwing himself across divans and bemoaning whatever it is that is bothering him in the moment.

Likes to give and receive gifts. In both cases there's usually a crack in his facade and he appears a bit like a kid on starlight.

Is known to be a rake. Most of Ishgardian high society is aware of the fact that Sebastian has slept around quite a lot. Some regard him as something to try at least once before marriage. Though, it's unknown if this is still true given that he is recently betrothed.

Is a blooded heretic and has all of the ups and downs that come with that. Including the fact that he sometimes struggles to control his draconic gifts and can suddenly sprout scales and horns should his emotions get the better of him.

Is rarely ever seen without a cravat and waistcoat. He wears the trappings of a nobleman like armor. If he arrives on a date with his collar open or his sleeves rolled up, he is putting a good bit of faith and trust in you. He might even have feelings.

He is quite intense. Both in his passion for those his loves and his in his quest to prove himself to the world as something more than an bastard that should have been left to the Brume when he was born. This can be a lot for some people. Too much, even.

His alignment is absolutely neutral evil. While this won't be immediately obvious to most who interact with him, the closer you get and the more layers you peel back the more apparent it becomes.

Sexually: Sebastian prefers to take a dominant position in the bedroom. While one could say that he is a switch/Verse, to get him to that point would take quite a lot of work and only one person has been successful thus far. So for all intents and purposes he is a Dom/Top who leans heavily into praise and rewards. He will be as adventurous and experimental as his partner is willing to be.

Romantically: Polyamorous. Depending on his partner he can be quick to catch feelings but slow to reveal them. Love is terrifying for him. Sex is far easier. He will often lead with a sexual relationship only to fall in love later on and struggle with just how to express those feelings, if he should even trust them at all. He is the sort to say 'I love you' in every possible way he can think of before uttering those three little words. Though, once he has fallen in love with someone, they are his world. His everything. His eternal muse. There is very little he won't do for those he loves. And as someone with questionable morals, that says a lot. But, he also tends to open up and become more vulnerable and more honest. There is a sweet, casual, and sometimes goofy side to Sebastian that only those closest to him are allowed to see.

❆ El menor de 3 hermanos. De padres con una carrera médica muy prestigiosa y así le siguen los pasos sus dos hermanos mayores, quienes trabajan como médicos generales y cirujanos en la clínica que dirigen justamente los progenitores. Gracias a sus carreras y trabajos han podido mantener un estilo de vida de grandes comodidades y entregarles lo mejor de lo mejor a sus hijos.

❆ De carácter aparentemente tranquilo, en su infancia se llegó a considerar hasta un muchachito pasivo, ya que obedecía al pie de la letra cualquier instrucción dada por sus padres o tutores académicos. Lo que muchos ignoraban es que cuando le quitaban los ojos de encima solía escapar de casa a jugar con otros chicos, hacer travesuras y volver hecho un desastre. Detalles que solía esconder a la perfección, ya que, al ser un infante tan controlado, desarrolló la capacidad de reconocer a las personas por el sonido de sus pisadas, saberse al revés y al derecho los horarios de quienes trabajan en la casa, sus hermanos y por supuesto, el horario de sus padres.

❆ A medida que los años pasaron dejó de esforzarse en trazar la figura del hijo perfecto. Sale de casa cuando se le antoja la gana, no respeta citas que sean agendadas o armadas por sus padres, duerme hasta tarde, casi no cena en la mesa con todos… Se ha vuelto un desastre más independiente. No obstante, conserva una mente brillante en el desempeño académico, estaba destinado a seguir los pasos de todos y volverse un médico… O eso era lo que todos pensaban.

❆ Con lo que tampoco contaron sus familiares es que Sebastián sufriera de una carencia vocacional hacia la medicina… y aparentemente todo lo relacionado con el trabajo. Sus padres no encontraban forma de convencerlo a estudiar medicina, ser parte del rubro. No, no, no y no. Sin embargo, comenzaron a amenazarlo con que algo debía hacer, alguna carrera con altas expectativas para su futuro, y por cuestiones del azar (además de querer sacar a su mamá y papá de encima) dijo que empezaría con Administración en Hotelería y Servicios. Fue inesperado, pero para ellos había una gran esperanza en que Sebastián podía ser un genio en ello y quién sabe, hacer que su familia extendiera las alas al rubro hotelero.

❆ Sebastián claramente no está contento con su propia elección, porque justamente no le parece suya, además, la motivación a tomar esa dedición fue meramente una forma de huir. Él realmente esconde un gran interés por la botánica y remodelar aquel local que en su momento fue todo un paraíso y éxito como florería en su tierra natal. Aquella florería era manejada por su abuela materna, quien mimó a Sebastián más que nadie en esa familia y no con cuestiones materiales, sino con amor y tiempo de calidad. Pero aquel tema es delicado de tocar, pues la pérdida del negocio y su abuela, fueron controversiales y al muchacho poco menos que se le prohíbe tocar el tema especialmente en frente de su madre (La abuela sufría de depresión endógena y la florería era todo lo que ella anhelaba en su vida, y lamentablemente por envidia y malas personas, boicotearon todo su negocio y sus plantas, llevándola a la cruda decisión de quitarse la vida).

❆ A pesar de continuar bajo el control de sus padres, posee un espíritu libre, le toma poca importancia a lo que piensan los demás sobre él siempre y cuando nadie de su familia se meta en medio; hace todo lo que su corazón le diga. Las personas suelen subestimarlo debido a su actitud despreocupada, pero Sebastián no tira la toalla a medio camino una vez que se compromete con algo o alguien, se preocupa de hacer todo ridículamente bien. Además, es muy inteligente.

Más acerca de Sebastian...

Tiene el don de llevarse espectacular con bebés y niños pequeños. Resulta un dato muy curioso acerca de Sebastian si no se le conoce bien. Sin embargo, no es para sorprenderse cuando sabes que ya es tío y tiene 4 sobrinos. Tres de ellos corresponden al primer hermano y el cuarto al segundo.

La relación con sus hermanos mayores es relativamente buena a pesar de todo, pero quienes más ponen confianza en él para cuidar a veces a los niños cuando están ocupados, son sus cuñadas. Creen que la naturaleza tranquila y responsable de Sebastian garantizan la seguridad de sus hijos y además entregan un ejemplo a los mismos.

Lo que no saben es que a veces los niños hacen travesuras nuevas en casa de sus padres producto de su influencia.
