Hello, all you lovely heroes of tomorrow. We would like to welcome you to the Avengers Genesis program– a forming discord server made for this team to come together and face the terrors of our times. We like to hang out, we like to get to know each other, and currently, we are recovering from the Avenger’s rescue. Rules

1. Be chill.

This is a place to have a good ole time. We want everyone to be a happy camper, so if something is making you not a happy camper please let a mod know! Don’t single people out && don’t be a dick.

2. No god-modding.

Respect people’s muses and their muses abilities! We will not be dealing with auto-hits or auto-anything. Also, do not move another mun’s muse to another area without permission or enter a room that is not yours without permission.

3. 18+.

Don’t be one of those people who lie about their age. We have adult themes, we’re keeping this between adults. If you are a minor, we will find out and we will remove you. This is a matter of safety and legality. Muses also must be over 18.

4. In-character drama needs to stay in-character.

Please know the difference between IC and OOC. Drama happens between our muses but it doesn’t need to happen between muns! Any OOC drama will be addressed && if you’re having a problem please let a mod know.

5.  No duplicates.

Right now we will not be accepting duplicate characters. We know Marvel has many different versions of characters but that might make things a bit too confusing! If you’re dead set on a plot dealing with duplicates (ie. Pietro vs. Peter, Spider Noir vs. Spiderman, etc.) please approach the mods & the mun of the pre-existing muse.

6. Please discuss major plot points!

If something involves another character PLEASE involve the other mun. Let them know what’s going on and make sure they are okay with it! An example: no surprise deaths and no knowing things your character shouldn’t know.

7. Muse Limit

Four muses per mun are our current limit. We use the PluralKit Bot to maintain muses.

8. Posting Order

This rule only applies to big events involving five or more people, or fights. To keep everyone involved please establish a posting order. If someone has to leave, they can either ask to pause or have their muse bow out.

I've been putting this off for about a week now but my mental health is not the best at the moment. It is slightly better than a week ago but it still in the gutter. Little to no engery is why I've written next to nothing recently. Aside from that, if I'm being honest, for the past few weeks I've felt like this blog is being hoarded as a muse ---this might be on me though--- but I've also felt like I don't belong. Sort of like people have gotten tired of me. For some reason I thought rp on here would not cause me to feel this way, but alas, I do feel this way. Which sucks because I love writing Natasha so much and I also love the collaborative process that rp brings to writing.

So, for my own sanity and to try and prevent further shitty feelings when I login, if you followed back just to follow and have no genuine interest in ever developing something long term with my portrayal of natasha OR if you already found a few portrayals you like and mine isn't on the list, I understand and there are no hard feelings but you can kindly unfollow me. I don't want to keep being just another number on someone's follow list.

With all that being said, if anyone wants to drop a thread we have going I understand, just let me know so I can either remove it from drafts or from my tracked threads. I know I'm plotting behind the scenes with some folks and I would like to keep plotting but if this post deters anyone, I get it.

doing that meme reminded me that once upon a time i wrote mr. steven grant rogers and i still remember how this one natasha left her partner for my steve ( they talked things through with the other person ). my steve really had BDE jk jk they just liked my portrayal of him.

quickly portrayal notes prior to movie release:

NATALIA WAS BORN IN 1928 and was rescued from a house fire by ivan petrovitch.

AT THE AGE OF 16 she was fighting on the front lines during ww ii while pregnant. by the age of 17 she had lost her first husband and only child. 

AT THE AGE OF 27 she volunteered for the black widow op program to save ivan's life.

SHE HAD A SHORT BUT MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIP with james barnes during his brief time training agents. ( this was prior to her even meeting alexei. )

HER MARRIAGE TO ALEXEI SHOSTAKOV WAS an arranged marriage but despite this she did in fact love him towards the end of their time together.

ANY BLACK WIDOW OP AGENTS THAT GRADUATED did so only once. if they did not graduate, their only other fate was death. ( unless the kgb pulled them out themselves, which was rare. )

the aforementioned are  not widely known facts as they pertain to her early years. ( natasha likes to keep personal information private. )

YELENA BELOVA IS A questionable ally to natasha at best not her sister, adoptive or otherwise.

MELANIA VLADIMIROVNA VOSTOKOVA is a antagonist who was forced to live in the shadow of the legendary black widow. because of this she has a deep-seated hatred for natasha and is far from being a mother figure to her.

NATASHA DEFECTED TO THE US ON HER OWN ACCORD.

IN THE EARLY 2000's the russian government decided to permanently shut down the black widow op program as coldwar espionage was becoming outdated. it eliminated any active agents and retired agents ( save for natasha and yelena ), officially ending the widow program.

NATASHA IS NOT A SHIELD AGENT, she's stopped being agent for them in the late nineties and any possibility of her returning as an official agent ended when she killed multiple agents and severely injured nick.  ( she doesn't trust government agencies. so not being an official agent works in her favor.. )

FOLLOWING THE STREET FIGHT AGAINST THE WINTER SOLDIER in cap 2, natasha's memories start coming back and by the time civil war rolls around, all her implanted memories have broken down. ( what she told steve about herself at sam’s place are the false memories. )

RECORDS RELEASED DURING THE EVENTS OF TWS didn't affect natasha because she made sure the info shield had on her was false / wrong. ( again, she doesn't trust government agencies. )

NATASHA DIDN’T SIGN THE REGISTRATION. she knows what it’s like to be an immigrant in this country, has seen and has had first hand experience in regards to how this country treats immigrants. she also know how governments work and because she refuses loyalty to any government body ever again, there is no way she would sign the superhero registration act.
