K : Literally pulled you deeper into his huge chest. Your eyes widen from his action but before you could even turn around to say something, he hugged you tight with his right arm, that was huge enough to wrap your entire body in one swing. “Is my baby finally brave enough to sit on my lap~?” – a teasing chuckle followed as he whispered in your ears that got your entire face reddening. It’s been a while since you’ve wanted to sit on K’s huge lap, it seemed like such a comfortable seat to you personally, but you can’t deny that you were too shy. K knew you too well, but he wanted you to come to him on your own so he stayed quiet. He made sure to reassure you that it was totally fine to do so when you finally managed to let your intrusive thoughts win.

Fuma : Would stiff up subtly as soon as he felt your weight on his lap. It was just a normal evening, Fuma was focused on his game, headphones attached to him, his friend yelling incoherent words from the other line. You took this chance to try out something. You sneakily kept your closure to his figure sitting on the gaming chair before taking the opportunity to launch yourself on him. He was definitely shocked and it was obvious he lost focus from the game from the very start. When you started squirming on top of him though, he’ll hold you by the waist, still all your movements – “honey, stay still, I need to focus” That’s when you notice, your subtle little attempt wasn’t all that subtle.

Nicholas : The fastest person to make your existence on his lap known. Would straight up call you out and tease you about it. He would dwell on that little action of yours for weeks while completely teasing you about it nonstop. He’d spin you around, making you face him and look you straight in the eyes with a  smug look on his face – “I see someone’s let their intrusive thoughts take over” You pouted at him, gesturing that you’re getting off immediately, refusing to take his tease but you’re only met with a tight pull at your waist and a sweet strawberry flavored kiss to your lips.

Ej : Would stiff up very evidently and even started squirming around at one point. Honestly, it ain’t even on purpose, he truly wanted to keep his reaction subtle but he’s just still got a lot more to learn from Fuma hyung apparently. He’d stiffen up so much to the point you would even notice, stilling his breathing while the air is caught in his throat as he struggled to find a certain distraction to keep him calm. You’d let out a chuckle when you found his entire face reddening and sweating. “Stop laughing~ you’re the one who started this..” – he spoke in a sulky tone as you kept chuckling at him. This little blushy tangerine didn’t even gave you a chance to blush first.

Yuma : The literal tease. But not as teasing as K. As soon as he felt your body heat on his lap, he’ll turn his head straight to your direction in the most obvious way. Will start squishing your cheeks and babying you, smiling like a cheeky kid inside from how happy he is. “Awww look at you so adorable on my lap~!” You grabbed him by his collar, landing a soft kiss on his lips to shut him up. And as expected, he’s content with your little payment, pulling you back into a deeper kiss just as bonus payment~

Jo : The ‘I did noticed’ but nonchalant one. Obviously the sudden warmth he felt on his lap wasn’t just to his imagination, especially when you started squirming around, disturbing his view of the book in his right arm. Out of nowhere, you felt a huge palm pinning down both your arms while pulling you closer to lean against him. “If you wanna have a seat.. stay still.” You’d panic a bit now that you noticed he knew but soon you came to a sense of comfort, on his warm lap, tightly wrapped cozily by his arm.

Harua : The Uno Reverse Card user. Would start squirming as soon as he felt your weight on him. Trying to keep it subtle but poor bunny boy can’t help that he was obviously a bit more petite compared to other group members and this applied to his strength and endurance as well. Finally had enough and gets up, pushing you up a bit before seating you back down. Then the most unexpected thing happens, he sat right on your lap as you looked at him with widen eyes. “Don’t mind me~” – speaking in a sassy tone as he started scrolling through his phone while you kept giving him side eyes.

Taki : He’s the ultimate mixture of Yuma and Harua. Don’t expect for this boy to let you get a free seat on him unless there’s a payment method. And his payment isn’t a simple sweet little kiss, no. It’s actually you allowing him to practically do the same to you whenever he wants. You want to sit on his lap? That’s okay but you’ll also have to let him sit on your lap. But you weren’t one to know this system beforehand, taking it as a free chance for a free seat when you caught him, legs crossed on the bed, focused on his phone screen. It’s only when you’ve taken a seat, which you knew you were now in deep trouble – “Oh~ seems like my cutie fell for my trap~”

Maki : The literal gentleman. He maybe the maknae and he maybe a tease but he’s definitely far off from the other group members when it comes to teasing. He barely teases you, because most of the time all you get is princess treatment. Would be completely comfortable with your sudden action, even resting his head on your shoulder to make you feel closer and more cozy with him. But then his sudden worry would click in his head. You could feel the soft warm breath of this gentle boy in the crook of your neck, when he spoke in a worry but gentle tone – “Had a bad day, love?”

accidentally tickling you + the need to keep doing it.

you know that clip of nico just touching the exposed skin through fuma’s ripped jeans? and fuma getting ticklish because of it and stopping nicholas’s hands, but nico’s hand keeps gravitating back to it? i feel like nico would do this with you. initially, it’s usually just him gently grazing the skin on your arm or neck or knees with his nails or fingertips. the moment you squirm away, something in nico’s brain tells him that he needs to keep touching that same spot unless you really tell him to stop (you usually don’t). he also squeezes your leg or thigh just to make you jump. and then commences the game of you trying to catch nico’s hands before they can touch you again but still playing along because of course you will. you always have.

playful attacks when you’re teasing him.

there’s a video of nico just like, fake tickle attacking gaku during one of the &audition episodes that i just saw recently and my first thought was just nicholas going for your waist whenever you tease him for something. you tease him a lot whenever you get the chance because he, of course, does the exact same to you. so it’s no surprise to you anymore when you just kind of quickly scoot away after teasing him because you know what’s coming, and sure enough, nico’s hands just shoot quickly towards your waist after you like, talk about an embarrassing moment he had.

it used to just be something he had to decide to do (he knew whatever you were saying was a joke so that was his choice to retaliate) but at some point it just became second nature for him to start wiggling his fingers towards your sides. is it because he’s just gotten used to it? or is it because his hands know his need to hear your laugh? you may never know. nico also finds joy when he just brings his hands relatively near you and your giggles just fall out of your laugh without him even touching you.

feeding you.

with nico looking as if he would be a tsundere, the way he holds out food to the members without looking is so characteristic of that. there’s a couple of clips of him feeding harua by just holding out ice cream or tanghulu to his mouth without even looking. something about that melts my heart because it’s like he wants people not to make a big deal but he’s just too caring for me to ignore.

nico does the same thing to you. just holding his drink up to your lips if he knows you like his drink better than your own. holding up food combinations he wants you to try (like when he fed harua the seaweed) and patiently waiting for your opinion. if you can’t decide which dish you want to order, he would order both and let you pick which one you would like better. and of course, cooking you sausage wherever and whenever you want.

poking your cheek + tapping your chin.

i’ve seen nico do this a lot to euijoo and taki (especially in the scent of you behind). it seems to be his way of teasing but with affection, because he had done it after reviewing their scenes in the mv. i think it’s his way of saying you did well, i’m proud of you, and i think you’re absolutely adorable, but i’m gonna do this little cat scratch thing because i’m too shy to actually tell you (so lino-coded i love this).

nico will just randomly tap underneath your chin or poke your cheek, usually when it comes to times when you’re being complimented or getting flustered. he thinks you’re adorable with the way you suddenly can’t make eye contact and can only let out a stuttering ‘thank you’ and so he just has the sudden urge to make it worse by doing the whole underside of the chin gentle tap with his fingertip or knuckle.

making random sounds to get your attention.

i’m sure we mostly all know about nico’s “ooh sexy joo” clip, and if you don’t, you’ll probably find out soon. but something tells me that the way he hypes up euijoo and the sounds he makes along with it translates to you as well. a lot of times, when he’s bored and you’re not paying attention to him he just starts making those ‘oooooo’ sounds that he was making during their photoshoot behind. it’s kind of difficult to ignore the fake ghost sounds your best friend is making but it’s come to the point that if he isn’t making these sounds when he wants your attention, then something’s wrong and he’s probably jealous of someone grabbing your attention instead of him.

it’s not rare for you to be trying to finish an assignment at your desk with nico just sprawled out on your bed, limbs hanging off the sides of your mattress. when he senses you’re almost done, nico starts to make these sounds or just starts to hum your favorite song unconsciously, reaching over to you to play with your free arm or your hair, hoping that it’ll help speed up your progress on your work. spoiler alert: it doesn’t, but you don’t have the heart to tell him otherwise.

his tired clinginess in the morning.

just blank nico in the morning. tired baby will just go up to wherever you are, cooking, getting ready, brushing your teeth, whatever. he would just go up to you and cling close as he’s waking up, not with arms around you or anything but just standing with his chest pressed to the back of one of your shoulders as he watches what you’re doing, eyes unfocused and head slightly dipped towards you - he might not be a morning person but being around you makes it better.

sometimes you get surprised despite getting used to this habit because one moment, you’re in the kitchen pouring milk into your cereal. when your turn back from the fridge after putting the carton away, nico’s just standing silently behind you, not reacting to the little laugh you let out at your surprise like he usually would (he loves your laugh). instead, you simply take a spoon and drop it into your bowl as nicholas just brings his body close to yours and lightly presses his chest against your back. he watches you eat over your shoulder, simply opening his mouth when you bring up the spoon to it, and nuzzles his head into your neck as he chews, basking in the little pats you give to the side of his head and face.

hiding his face from or behind you.

as intimidating as our lovely boy can look, nico is just a shy baby when it comes to being teased or excessively complimented. you love how he gets when this happens and so sometimes you purposely praise him over and over again just to get him flustered. at these times, nicholas just hides his face from you so that you can only see his eyes (like in the ‘our diary - acrobatic’ video when k said it was his turn to do the last challenge and he hid his face behind the mats). the giggle that leaves your mouth only causes his heart to stir even more, and he tries his best not to giggle back as much as he feels like he needs to. he has a dark image to protect lol.

if someone else makes him shy and you’re near him, he goes immediately to take your arm and hide his face behind it with the cute high pitched nico laugh we love. more often, nico just steps behind you and plants half his face on your shoulder, again only leaving his eyes to be shown. euijoo had once said that nicholas one of the most important people in his life so casually, and the next moment, nicholas had already left your side and had his face hidden behind your shoulder. so cute.

he's a tall guy, and i think that's already something reassuring and comforting. but when his warm hands slide over your cheeks, and he places a protective kiss on your forehead : that's when you really feel cleansed of all bad vibes. k is the kind of boyfriend you can trust completely and who gives you a constantly reassuring, benevolent aura. which is why, whenever he thinks you need it, he follows his instincts and places a soft, warm kiss on your forehead.

fuma ⭒ back hug

you admire fuma for his presence and his ability to take care of others, but what you like best about him is his big arms mixed with his pretty cute face. so you obviously love it when he comes sliding up behind you to wrap your body in his comforting muscular arms, resting his chin on your shoulder as he cuddles you. sometimes you talk about anything and everything — especially if you're cooking at the same time, but other times you remain silent, simply enjoying each other's presence.

you don't know if he does it naturally or just to get rid of his shyness, but euijoo often pauses between kisses to let a smile form on his lips. it's one of the many things you love about him. and you're definitely not saying that because you fell in love with his smile — but because it proves that your hands on his cheeks and your warm kisses have a certain effect on him, and more particularly on his heart, which resonates unceasingly against yours. then, spend your time kissing him just to feel his lips stretch into a smile against yours, has become one of your favorite moments of the day.

it's something harua often does, twirl a strand of your hair between his fingers wherever, whenever and however he wants. sitting next to you, waiting behind you, cuddling in bed.. every opportunity is good for him to play with your hair. even when you're having dinner, on the kitchen island, and he's just listening intently as you tell him about your day, and his hand slips mechanically into your hair to twist it around his index finger — and of course you don't say anything, because you're so used to it that it seems completely natural.

taki ⭒ rubbing his thumb over your knuckle

one thing taki likes to do the most is holding your hand. and he does it all the time : in class when he's behind you, in the street when you're out, in a department store to avoid getting you lost in the crowd.. his hand is glued to yours at this point. but you don't mind, because it's as if your hand was made to be joined to his, and you feel it even more when he strokes your knuckles with his thumb during a date. this simple gesture has a strange effect on your heart — and it keeps sending butterflies to your stomach.

maki ⭒ squeezing your hand reassuringly

one thing you really appreciate about maki is his ability to read you like an open book — and even if it can sometimes be restrictive, in moments of stress, you like him to be able to understand you without the slightest difficulty. no matter when or where, you don't know how he does it, but his hand always reaches for yours. and that simple touch has a calming effect on you, especially when he exerts a gentle pressure around your fingers, as if to whisper to you that he's there and everything will be all right.

The ringing of your alarm jolted you awake, the familiar sound startling you. You struggled to keep your eyes open, wrapped in a huge blanket. Rolling to the left side of the bed, you realized that Nicholas wasn’t in the room, only meaning he could be in the bathroom or making breakfast. But, the smell of the pancakes already answered your question, prompting you to get up from laying down.

Once you shrugged off the blanket, a chill immediately pricked your skin, making you try to rub your hands along your arms. It just had to be this cold today, but that’s always December for you. Swiftly making your way to the kitchen, you caught sight of the back of your boyfriend, cooking something up on the stove. If you were going to be completely honest, he looks super fine right now–when was he never hot?

"Hey," you greeted, sidling up next to him, trying to sneak a quick bite. "Morning," Nicholas responded, his tone suggesting a smile. He promptly fed you a piece, chuckling once you signaled your approval.

"How was your sleep?" Nicholas grabbed the eggs from the counter, cracking them onto the pan. You yawned, stretching your arms. "Pretty good. And you?"

“Not too bad."

Shifting the conversation, you said, "It's pretty cold—how are you in a short-sleeved shirt right now?" Nicholas glanced at his shirt, then back to yours. You were in a long-sleeved pajama set, still seemingly shivering from the cold.

"I've gotten used to it?" Nicholas chuckled softly, still stealing glances at you while you focused on preparing the two cups of coffee. "Are you cold?"

“Very,” The cold air continued to hit you despite the long layer over your arms. You continued to rub your hands, grabbing his attention. Sensing your discomfort, Nicholas, without a word, tenderly took your cold hands in his, the icy touch meeting his warm skin. He drew you closer, making you stand behind him. Surprising you with the sudden heat, a small smile graced his lips as he enveloped your arms around his waist.

Allowing his shirt to cover your hands, he used his free hand to rub yours, hoping it would just be enough for you. Your breath hitched at the unexpected but comforting warmth that radiated from Nicholas. Gradually, you relaxed under his touch, resting the side of your face against his back, staying put.

"You're such a flirt," you teased, hearing his laughter. "What? You're cold, and I'm warm – it's just warmth for two."

-He understood that you needed space but when he heard the lock on the bathroom, he got worried.

-Didn't want the argument into what it ended up being but lets be honest, you're both stubborn hot-heads. It was bound to happen.

-Feels insanely guilty after he hears soft sobs (even though you tried to hide it)

-Knocks softly on the door and rests his forehead against the wood as his heart breaks inside his chest.

-"I'm so sorry, baby. Please, open up. Please, let me hold you."

-Feels so guilty and just wants this all to end to be honest.

-Fuma

-It wasn't supposed to happen but you were both blind to the others statement so he lifted his voice a little and saw tears appear in your eyes.

-When you locked yourself up, he realized his mistake and closed his eyes as he stood alone in the living room.

-Fights with himself on what to do because on one hand he wants to give you space but at the same time, he wants to hold you close and assure you he loves you.

-Walks towards the door and thinks he's Anna so he knocks and asks you to open the door. When you don't, he sees this as you want to be alone so he leaves.

-Comes back two minutes later because he loves you and knocks again.

-Nicholas

-I also see him as a hot-headed person so beware.

-He just desperately wanted to win the argument that he forgot to listen to your side and messed but by creating a bigger problem than necessary.

-The moment he hears the lock, he calms down internally and stares at the door.

-Tries to open the door anyway but realized you actually locked yourself in.

-Apologizes as if his life depended on it because for the first time that evening he understands your point of view.

-Will be so happy and relieved when you unlock the door.

-You had been arguing to the point where neither of you really knew what it was about anymore.

-When he hears a door shut he doesn't think much of it but when you haven't returned after like 10 minutes he panics.

-Goes to the door to hear your soft sobs and panics even more so he tries to open the door but it is locked.

-A sudden fear of you leaving because he went too far washes over him and he feels his heart almost combust from stress.

-Whispers to you from his side of the door about how you two can fix this small problem and how sorry he is.

-Has an existencial crisis but calms down immediately when you let him inside.

-Absolutely scoffs when you lock yourself inside your bedroom and waits for you to come out but you don't and he frowns.

-He hears your sobs and immediately feels guilty for how harsh he had been during the argument.

-Immediately calls EJ to ask what he's supposed to do because he is clueless.

-EJ scolds him for being an idiot before he gives advice on what to do.

-Yuma knocks softly on the door and apologizes to you for everything before you open the door and he tackles you in a hug.

-Holds you close and kisses your temple while he keeps apologizing.

-Sorry but I cannot imagine a scenario where he would make you cry.

-If anything he would be the one locking himself up and sobbing.

-The moment he realized the hurtful words he had said in a fit of anger, he looks down in shame.

-When you lock yourself up, he becomes Anna from Frozen and stands in front of the bathroom door while knocking desperately.

-"Y/N?" He would call out to you and knock a couple more times. When you refuse to open the door, he turns his back against it and slides down until he sits on the ground.

-Tortures himself by listening to your sobs and soft cries from inside.

-Is ready to pick all the stars out of the nightsky to give them to you because he just desperately wants to apologize.

-Taki

-Absolutely the one to blame himself and scold himself for hurting you to the point of you locking yourself up.

-Will leave you alone for a while and wait for you to open the door before apologizing continuesly for being stubborn.

-Won't leave you alone afterwards and has his arms around you the whole time.

-Continues to apologize every few minutes just to make sure if you're still mad or not.

synopsis: even though you're mad at nicholas because he just won't stop smoking, he looks really good under the moonlight

it feels like hours you've been trying to fall asleep on the bottom bunk. you can hear your bunkmate taki snoring loudly from above, and maki and harua are also fast asleep in the other bunk bed.

you get up as quietly as you can and make your way through the dark house. as you slide open the glass side door and step out into the night, you notice a silhouette sitting at the edge of the porch.

"hey stranger," you grin at him as he turns around until the smell and sight of what you're witnessing hits you and your lungs fill with rage.

there, sitting on the edge of the porch dangling his legs off the side, is your best friend nicholas, and in his hand is a lit cigarette.

"oh, you bitch," you mutter, half playfully and half out of anger. "how many goddamn times do i have to tell you not to smoke?! that shit kills you!"

his face shows the expression of a deer caught in headlights. he smiles sheepishly and runs his free hand through his hair.

you take a second to get a good look at him. his hair looks messy as if he'd also been trying to fall asleep, and the top two buttons of his satin night shirt are undone. his face seems to glow in the moonlight and his chocolate orbs almost sparkle. his lips look puffy, almost kissable-

you shake your head roughly and focus on the lecture you're about to give him. snatching the cigarette from him and putting it out on the floor of the porch, you take a seat next to him.

you decide against lecturing him, mainly because you can't look him in the eyes without them wandering towards his unbuttoned shirt. "if this happens again, i won't show mercy. i'll be going straight to kei."

"i'm sorry," he says, just like every other time you've caught him. "i really won't do it again this time. just... i couldn't sleep, and euijoo and fuma hyung were knocked out so i didn't wanna bother them but i got bored and-"

you take his hand in yours and he stops talking, his mouth agape. "it's okay. i'm not really mad. i just wish you'd stop doing it before you get addicted. i really would hate to see you suffer."

he looks at you, and you swear you see something flicker in his eyes briefly, before he faces forward again, pulling your head down to rest on his shoulder.

you both just stay there for a while before you realize something. "hey," you back off his shoulder snd scowl at him. "give me the box."

"box?" he asks, feigning innocence.

you glare harder. "the box of cigarettes," you grumble through gritted teeth.

he chuckles and pulls it out of his pocket. "oh, this? you're gonna have to pay a small price if you want it."

you sigh. "nicho, i'm not playing games with you. hand it over!" you grasp at it, but he pulls it out of your reach.

"come on, it's just a small price." he grins at you in a way that makes you wanna punch him in the face (lovingly ofc).

you groan. "fine."

he turns his head so you get a perfect view of his side profile. then, he taps his cheek.

"oh hell no," you growl.

"come on! just once." he pleads with his eyes.

you sigh. "you're such a big baby." you lean in to peck his cheek, but he turns his face towards you right as you do.

your lips land directly on his. you back off him with a gasp. "hey!"

he smiles widely, placing the box down next to you. "there you go."

he's still staring at you as you look back up. "fuck it," you mutter, leaning in to kiss him again.

he smells like cigarettes but his mouth tastes like mint gum. one of his hands slides up to hold your face as the other snakes around your waist. you wrap your arms around his shoulders, pulling him in closer.

as you pull away, you realize you've stained his lips with the strawberry lip gloss you forgot to take off before bed.

you giggle as you wipe it off his mouth with the sleeve of your (his) stolen hoodie.

"i like you," he confesses, "like, a lot."

you smile and lean into his shoulder again. "me too, yixi. i like you a lot too."

you hear shuffling and giggling behind you. "finally!" someone squeals.

you launch the pack of cigarettes at them.
