📝 liesel & finn?

Liesel was Finnegan’s best friend when they were kids, which means she was probably the only person his age who was there for him when his mum died. I imagine the Ivanovs came to the funeral and that when Finnegan managed to get away from the crowd and sit alone, Liesel was the one who came and found him. Edie aside, she might have been the last person alive to see Michael Finnegan cry. 

Liesel and Finnegan still race horses against each other. If you thought they’d outgrow it, you were sadly mistaken. 

Edie used to take them both to the opera. Liesel fell in love with it; Finnegan did not, but he appreciates it enough not to be a dick. He sometimes gets tickets for them to go together when he’s in London. 

Liesel confides her dream of owning a bookshop to Finnegan and he invests in her dream. He likes to come and visit once it’s established just to wander the shelves in a zombie-like state after days full of meetings. He associates the smell of ink with Liesel. 

He intentionally gets Henry’s name wrong when he talks to her about him until she’s managed to tell Stefan. “Your boyfriend... Harry, is it?” as a form of cover against scrutiny. It barely works and it mildly annoys Liesel but she Deals With It.

He does not love Kisa. Kisa gets fur all over his suits and it stresses him out. Still, Finnegan tries to bring treats for her because he doesn’t want to gang up with Stefan against a cat. He feels like that’ll make Liesel cry and he’s probably right. She knows he’s not fond of Kisa though. 

Every other month or so, he, Edie, and Liesel go for a large brunch or fancy dinner to catch up. Finnegan also sends Liesel’s parents and Sasha presents at Christmas and birthdays. (Although, lbr, he sees Sasha every time he goes back to Castle Erskine). 

When they were little, they used to talk about setting up Edie and Sasha on dates. Liesel finds out they were really romantically entangled, but never tells Finnegan especially because she finds out after Finnegan and Stefan start dating and she doesn’t want to mess things up. 

Liesel texts Finnegan poetry quotes and he sends her pictures of paintings. Sometimes, they make them into Aesthetic(tm) backgrounds for each other’s phones.

Who cooks meals for the other? They BOTH do, but Stefan always tries to cook more than Circe bc he genuinely enjoys it.

Who spams the other with memes? Neither?? I will say this...they both might if it is a HIGHLY SPECIFIC meme/inside joke between them. But its never normal memes.

Who likes to tidy around the house? Neither? They never really have to tidy? Both are neat freaks who keep their life very orderly so its never 'tidying' needed. That or they have a cleaning service if life is utterly insane, but Stefan would just clean at 2AM preferably.

Who likes to play pranks on the other? Their idea of pranks is taking the other's car keys and dangling them right before they have to leave, but neither are childish enough for pranks.

Who asked the other to move in with them? Stefan awkwardly does, but leaves the door wide open for her to not if she's not comfortable with the idea.

Who is in charge of the music during a car ride? Circe gets charge of the music because Stefan is focused on driving and he has the same taste in music as Circe for the most part.

Who is more likely to tickle the other mercilessly? Again neither? But Stefan might let his fingers lightly trace along her side to make her squirm for steamy moments, but 'tickle'? Nope.

Who needs to hold the other during scary movies? Circe fakes being scared to sit closer/against/on Stefan because she'll take the opportunity. He knows she's not actually scared and appreciates her faking it for him even though she doesn't need an excuse.

Who has to help the other when it comes to technology? Neither? Their work sort of thrusts them into a lot of tech so they're both great at it.

Who likes to get a bit frisky in public / an inappropriate setting? They do NOT get frisky in public unless its a private space like an elevator, but otherwise they don't. Stefan will however murmur all kinds of 'things' against her hair in public as his fingers trace over her shoulder to rile her.

Who wakes up first, and do they wake up the other or let them rest? Stefan wakes first always at 5AM for his morning routine and lets her rest.

Who is always taking pictures of the other when they aren’t looking? Stefan 100% takes pictures of Circe sometimes when on vacation, but he isn't a picture taker and I don't think Circe is either?

Who always forgets their wallet and never ends up paying for anything? Circe, BUT that's because she doesn't forget her wallet but because Stefan NEVER EVER lets her pay for anything. Ever.

Who can’t sleep because the other snores or moves too much at night? They both suck at sleeping between stress, work, and nightmares/trauma lbh.

Who is better at video games, and do they let the other win or show no mercy? Neither care for video games.

Who always gets up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and accidentally wakes up the other? Stefan probably because he hydrates like a camel all day long.
