The Gemini Space Station. A repository of information long abandoned by The Genius Society. Damage to the systems had left the society's information locked behind inaccessible means, the access nodes corrupted. Extensive work would be required to access them, which wasn't any of The Space Pirate's business. The Captain of The Falcon, Trello, had been commissioned to help break into and protect the station while their employer did whatever it was he was doing. Trello never liked to judge... but... Timelords. They were strange folk. Particular. He'd heard what he thought were exaggerations throughout the cosmic whispers, but now that he'd had first-hand experience... he could confirm. They were strange​​​​​​.

"Now," Trello began, "I know you said not to disturb ya, but I mean it— This is worth it. We found this little scamper back in the cargo hold." The Captain spoke as he moved to scan one of the reprogrammed keycards that had been given to him by their employer, "He says he ain't got no one with him, but my boys say they saw some Purple Minx nearby." The Captain informs him as the doors slide open. 

He's being kept in the chair, handcuffed to a control console. A new body, a new face... but that's him. Wearing a blue cotton coat-trailing down to the knees, baggy cargo pants, dusty white sneakers, and a brown waistcoat over a grey T-shirt. His long scarf hanging down at his knees, swept over his crossed legs. The man, with silver hair and bright blue eyes, meets the gaze of the visor employer.

"Oh, and now things start to make sense—" 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐨𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 grins, "Trello... Do you have any idea who this is?"

the older i get and the closer i am to reaching 30, the more the people around me try to deny me my age. it’s a constant ‘oh you’re just turning 29 again teehee 🤭’ or ‘dont tell your SO that, he’ll leave you for a younger model 😉’ and i just???? hate it?????????

i spent my entire teenaged years fighting for my life. i crawled through the deepest pits of my depression to cling to the promise of a life beyond that pain. i was so convinced that i was going to die young, that i would never see the grace of my age starting with a 2, let alone 3.

so im going to turn 30, and there’s not a damn thing anyone can do to stop me from loving it.

advice i think we should tell children is that when adults say stuff like ‘now that i’m an adult i get really excited about stuff like coffee tables and bathrooms and rugs etc’ they don’t mean ‘and now i don’t care about blorbo and squimbus from my childhood tv shows anymore’ bc your average adult still loves all the same pop culture stuff they always did; they just have a greater appreciation for the mundane as well. growing up just means you can enjoy life twice as much now. you can get really excited about a new stuffed animal AND about a new kitchen sponge. peace and love

my prof just explained on the syllabus that he’s included more points in the class than we needed to pass, so we could skip up like?? 20 small assignments/quizzes/participation!! and still get a very high grade!!

the idea was that we could focus on assignments that played to our strengths - only do the participation stuff if we like to talk out loud - only do the quizzes/readings if we want to do the class remotely - only do online discussions if we like to talk and share opinions but struggle with anxiety in class ect.

and that’s cool enough but then he pulled up DnD character sheets with drawings he’d done of these hypothetical student player classes and how our various accessibility needs could be gamified to ‘max out’ different aspects of the class to get high grades and like!!!!!

hell yeah!!!! let’s treat accessibility in higher education not just as a necessity but as the fun, engaging, and creative aspect of learning that it is!!! I love this!!

one of my favorite facts about gekko hayashi (artist who drew gay erotica) is that he was straight guy who pivoted from sci-fi & monster stuff to illustrating for gay & bdsm mags at like 50 years old because he wanted to expand his artistic horizons, and compensated by lack of lived experience by setting up a phone line for gay men to call in & recount their stories so he could illustrate them...legend
