I think an AU where Goro just turns into a literal crow is actually so hilarious and adorable. Imagine someone just stumbling across this puffed up, angry little creature. Sure, crows are known to be very smart and can create solid bonds with humans to bring them the shinies. But there's just something about this little fella that seems too aggressive for no reason. They'd leave the bird alone if not for seeing that it's a bit injured. (Perhaps it's all just Metaverse fuckery. Could you imagine finding out Goro's alive via smol injured crow??? Wild.) And mind you Goro is an absolute nightmare to whoever feels strong enough to deal with a big attitude in a small package. He has a beak after all, he's not afraid to use it. But one day he starts to realize that he's actually safe. He's truly alive and there's no more dealing with Shido. It's as draining as it is comforting. That thought takes everything out of him and for the first time since being taken into their care Goro is docile. Still a little standoff-ish mind you, but not ready to lash out and is able to relax. (Imagine little birb puddles where he just kinda melts into himself as he sleeps all floofed up.) One day he'll get to be human again. But until then he can be a birb.

Slight P5T DLC spoilers, but I had an idea!! What if after everything in canon is Guernica found Goro? Like what if reality reverted, the stuff in the DLC already passed, and Guernica remembers them? She remembers Goro. So what if he materialized in like an alleyway near the Diet Building or something, and she finds him. She recognizes him from helping her (not just from his famous status either), and knows from her time with him, Sumi, and Joker that something serious probably happened. So she takes to helping him and getting him back on his feet after everything in the engine room and with Shido. But them getting to have a bond together. Also her teaching him how to create graffiti art. (I'm kinda thinking he could have a hidden knack for it because of the PQ2 intro.) So she just takes him under her wing in return for him helping her. They can just go paint graffiti to express themselves but also give messages that they deem are important. :')

Every now and then I think about how Goro’s an untapped Wild Card, because the potential is obviously there in his ability to summon both Robin and Loki. It makes me wonder that even after his third awakening to Hereward if he’s still able to summon the other two. Because sure they became one (as all the awakenings seem to), but wouldn’t it be cool if he has access to all three?? But also give me an AU where if the Metaverse were to still exist post-Maruki that Goro is able to create the bonds needed to have the full potential of the Wild Card. Or even an AU where he’s able to do that before the end of everything. I feel like I would also enjoy there still being limitations to his power since he’s already got Loki’s special ability, and so it doesn’t completely create this power imbalance with him and Joker. I’m not quite sure how something like that would work at the moment, but I just like the idea that he and Joker while similar would still be different in their capabilities. There’s obviously still lots of things to work out but: Wild Card Goro. That’s all I’m saying.

I just want to see Goro, who’s severely injured with gunshot wounds and blood matted in his hair and on the verge of death, to come stumbling out of the entry point of Shido’s ship. He’s like a cat on his last life, barely hanging by a thread. But he’s still here. He’s still breathing even as he collapses onto the concrete. His phone is coated in blood and immediately shatters as it skids across the ground. He’s certain he’s going to die. But he’s glad he’s not dying in there. He doesn’t have to become a missing persons case (should anyone care to look). But most importantly, he won’t die in obscurity just like Shido wanted. He relishes in the realization Shido will have at the fact that he highly underestimated Goro. That he wasn’t some easy, naive target. That instead Goro went down kicking and screaming until the bitter end and made it off that damned ship. He may not have accomplished what he truly wanted, but that in itself is still a personal victory that follows him into the last of his consciousness.

You know how there’s coloring books for adults to help them unwind, relieve stress, or just straight up let them express themselves creatively? Well I think it’d be really funny if someone gave Goro something like that.

Especially if it’s like one of those “Destroy This Journal” type of deals. Because sure he could use a coloring book, but he’d get bored and frustrated so easily. (And he’d naturally blame the coloring book for being stupid just because he’s not vibing with it.) But one of those journals he can destroy?? Sure he may not like all the prompts and may take some creative liberties with it. But it’d allow him to vent his anger and frustration without him posing a threat to others or himself.

You know what I’ve really wanted the last few days? A good old swap AU. Cliche, right? But guys hear me out. Goro being friends with the Thieves. I’m especially thinking about his relationship with Ann, Ryuji, and Morgana first and foremost. The way they’d all bounce off of one another would just be so fun and ridiculous because Goro’s personality is different from Joker’s. And overall I just think it’d be a really good time.

Don’t ask why but like a make-up/beauty influencer Goro AU??? I don’t know about any of that stuff really, aside from maybe basics (take that with a grain of salt). But I just think he’d be very beautiful and stunning okay. And he’d also just be really funny to watch as he complains the entire time while showing off how to put together the look. That or I see people sometimes throw him into a tattoo artist AU and I just combust on the spot because Goro in that occupation?? With some tattoos?? I just collapse on the floor from desire.

Sometimes I think about the idea of what if after returning for real Goro doesn’t remember anything about Maruki’s reality? Like to him it’s just another odd gap in his memory where he knows something is there. Yet for whatever reason he just can’t put his finger on it. And despite the Metaverse being gone he can still feel Loki and Robin in his heart, but there’s also someone new in there named Hereward. But he can’t recall where they came from or why they’re there or even why it feels so right that there’s three of them.

Eventually some pieces will come back to him, but like Lavenza said. Everything went back to how it should have been. Everything, including Goro’s memories.
